The strong point of the hotel is all about the convenience in location. The room was clean and equipped well, which was great too. I must point out, however, that the guest service was not 5-star quality. First of all, I arrived in the morning so wanted to speak to someone to know when my room could be ready. While I stood in front of the PCs for check-in/out with my luggage looking for someone to talk to for a few minutes, no one came to me. Even the nearby staff who dealt with other quests paid no heed on me. And the concierge desk was empty then. Finally a bell staff noticed me and seemed to call someone for me. Second of all, when I was trying to call room service around 10:30 pm, no one answered even after 10 rings. I once gave up and tried again around 11:00 pm, then someone finally answered after 6 rings. These were surprising to me from my past experience at other 5 star hotels. You might want to consider the point.

i've got spacious corner room, with 1 kingbed and 1 queenbed. it is suitable for my family consisting of 2 adults and 2 kids (6yo and 2yo). the best part is near with MRT. i will recommend my colleague to stay here. Thank you so much.

Positives: - location - room - price to quality - breakfast What to improve: - why to have the gym in basement when you could make use of the fantastic views - check in and check out - it would be good to have the standard service + self service as an option

The hotel room is spacious. The service is good. However, I keep on having issues with Wifi. My mobile phone cannot connect to the wifi and need to spend 30 mins on the line to resolve the issue.

We enjoyed the newly renovated rooms. The staff were extremely professional and helpful as always. The online check-in and check-out works well and is efficient. Staff are always on hand to help anyone who may have difficulties. Perfect.

« Fantastic staff but did not want to stay in the middle of a building site. »

When we arrived we were offered an upgrade for a fee which we declined. Considering the building work, which we knew nothing about, a free upgrade would have been the least that could have been offered and I think a discount was in order. I am an Accor member and am disgusted I was not told in advance about the building work. I booked this hotel 6/7 months before to follow a hectic month’s trip around New Zealand. Although we wanted to visit all the attractions of Singapore we wanted to return each day to an oasis in the city, swim in the pool and relax. This was not possible due to the noise of the building works and we tried the cab to the other pool but it was not the best and was inconvenient. The staff at the hotel were excellent and we could not fault the service but we feel very let down by lack of warning as we would have booked elsewhere.

Was pleasantly surprised to be checking into a newly renovated suite which was not apparent on the website. Service was impeccable. Only unpleasant experience was the additional stress in managing the expensive and fragile TWG teapot. Was not expecting a removable item in the internal pot and accidentally broke the ceramic cap in the internal ceramic teapot. Was originally to pay $300 for the damage and eventually managed to purchase a new pot at $200 and pass the cap to the front desk. Whilst it’s nice to have exquisite teapot, it imposes additional care and stress since it’s a regularly used item and fragile. Perhaps a TWG cast iron instead. Overall a great experience.
