Housekeeping was excellent; attentive, courteous and always offered assistance. Front desk staff (Micel? not sure of her name) was a particular standout and provided the best service I have received at any hotel I have ever stayed at. In terms of sustainability, it was heavily marketed throughout the hotel. In fact, I received a daily/weekly newsletter of the hotel's amenities/activities and temperature. On the newsletter it stated that Swissotel was committed to sustainability, which is ironic. I suggest e-mailing these newsletters rather than printing one for each room (we didn't even need it since I can check temperature online). You can save paper this way. Loved the paper straws and glass bottles used for water at the bar. Housekeeping threw out our soap and left a new one after 1 day of use, which I felt was unnecessary given the fact I was only staying there 2 nights and that the soap was barely used. I've never had a room attendant throw out soap before. Continue your work on sustainability. I feel like Swissotel is on the right track compared to other hotels

I'm amazed at how the hotel staff made our stay personal - they checked my personal profile and were well aware that I preferred gluten-free meals and therefore prepared two gluten-free cakes for me and my mother in our room who was staying with me! The hotel is located at Besiktas (Macka), quite central in Istanbul. The service was SUPERB and we really enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Would have hoped to stay there longer. Would definitely recommend this hotel! As a plus, there is a separate restaurant in conjunction with this hotel called Günaydin (which is a chain), and you will experience a great dining experience here with the best served meat dishes! It's a popular chain that was famous before NusrEt, and it still has great quality!

The room was amazing. The problem was when i asked to check out at 1850 before the second night. Booking.com as well as the hotel didnt agree to cuncell not even half of the full lrice of the second night. I think it is unfair. I had to leave because of tragic event in my country of orjgin Its not my firat stay in your hotels group and actually we are about to build our own hotel under IBIS brand in Tbilisi.

« Exquisite atmosphere »

I've enjoyed staying at your hotel, although sometimes room service has been confusing. I've only left my card to change linen once and it seems like they kept doing it every time :) Also, the carpets weren't vacuumed properly - I've had an incident with my sweater, it left a lot of wool pieces on the floor and was hoping to get it cleaned. Everything else has been excellent. Especially breakfast and service.

The security findings were as follows for your info ; • At 08.47 you check-in your room on 20th • At 09.17 The guests leaves the room • At 10.23 The guest comes back • At 10.58 The guests leaves the room • At 15.07 The guests comes back • At 16.48 1582 your friend comes to room • At 16.57 They leave the floor together • At 19.27 The guests comes back to room • At 20.06 The guests leaves the room • At 22.40 The guests comes back We are once again sorry to hear of your missing money and wish to assure you that as Swissôtel The Bosphorus, we take all matters of guest safety and security very seriously.
