We’ve stayed in an executive garden room and used the executive lounge. The room was super clean, well maintained and it had all the things we need. The beds were comfortable, however the pillows were too soft for our taste. The service in all the areas of the hotel was flawless. Every person we came across was always friendly and ready to help. We were very pleased with the impeccable service in the executive lounge, especially the waiters were always there to help us with a big smile on their face. Check-in and check-out process was very easy and fast, our room was ready when we arrived. I also loved the flexibility in this hotel as they allow a late check-out if they can. The things that prevented me from giving 10, were the food quality and variety and the lack of management in the outdoor pool area. As I mentioned above, I did not like the quality and variety of the food both at the breakfast and happy hour. At breakfast there was a poor selection of food, always the same things and they seemed very scarce. At happy hours the desserts were good but there were only two types of hot meals which can not actually be classified as meal. Cold cuts were also very limited. I do not think it matches the standard of a high-end 5 star hotel like Swisshotel. We’ve also eaten at the main restaurant it was better as far as variety is concerned but again the food quality and taste was below the standard of a 5 star hotel. The service at the outdoor pool was good, towels, food, beverage etc. But the management was terrible. Some of the guests were too loud, disturbing, splashing water, screaming, constantly jumping into the water etc. I understand the pool area is not a library but it is not children’s playground either. I could not peacefully lay on the sun-bed and had to put up with the screams of the kids and the teenagers for at least 2 hours straight. At the end of two hours an attendant came and warned the guests. Seriously, after 2 hours? Also some of the guests entered the pool with their clothes on and some parents let their baby into the adult pool with their diaper on them. The pool attendants did nothing in both occasions. So because of hygiene issues I could not use the pool. To sum up I could not use the pool or lay peacefully on my sun-bed despite the beautiful sunny weather. This is not acceptable even in a public pool let alone in a high-end 5 star hotel.

Your hotel is without doubt, stunning. The views are sublime, the service was fantastic, the rooms spacious, clean and include everything you could want away from home. On this merit I would normally award a score of 10, however, there was one thing which spoilt my overall experience - smokers! It is almost unheard of in this day of environmental and health responsibilities to allow guests to smoke where others are dining. I was unable to enjoy breakfast on the balcony as every second person was smoking! It is a disgusting habit and should be treated as such. I travel regularly with work and in most other countries in Europe do not they allow smokers to disturb the ambience of their facilities - they have a designated "Smokers Area" away from the main building so as not to contaminate other guests. In my opinion, for a hotel of your standard, quality and ranking you should seriously review your smoking policy for the benefit of all your guests.

The room had a beautiful view but smelled heavily of smoke. I couldn’t get anyone to take my order in the lobby bar and the concierge was not friendly. All around poor service.

Great room and breakfast. The attendance was good. I didn't like The Rooftop, I was blocked because I tried to enter using short and flip flop. I understand the dresscode, however the treatment of the door girl was disrespecting with me.

My suite was nice and spacious. View was not ideal. It was supposed to be garden view , but happened to be half view of garden. The daily cleaning and maintenance was too late in the afternoon disturbing afternoon rest.

Unfortunately it was not a good experience. The hotel should be renovated and the staff is impolite and not professional. The air conditioning was droping water in our room... The executive lounge is very poor for a 5 stars hotel! I am not sure that I will be back to that hotel!

I found the Swissôtel Bosphorus a very pleasant experience with the hotel located in a wonderful part of Istanbul. The service was 5 star, apart from the “welcome” we received at your roof restaurant when we went up to have dinner on our first night at the hotel. The hostess was in the telephone and wouldn’t acknowledge us. We found our own way to a table. She arrived shortly and rudely asked us to move because the table was reserved. There was no reserved sign on the table but we left it anyway for a less attractive table.-apart from this unpleasant experience, everything else was good.
