Great location and excellent service. The concierge Martin was especially helpful. 2 things in my opinion need to be improved. 1. Room service food (we ordered pasta pomodoro) tasted awful. We had to return it! And 2. The rooms look very tired especially the bathrooms. Needs renovation.

This hotel has a quaint atmosphere, and it lacks what a 5* hotel experience should be, flawless. 1- Room was freezing cold. AC not working, had to call several times to have someone eventually bring an electrical heater 2- No french channels on TV (unusual for a "Swiss" hotel) 3- La Fondue restaurant was also freezing cold 4- The bar at the lobby needs some serious makeover to par with what a 5* hotel bar should be 5- Parking should be free for guests 6- I came to the hotel the day before and inquired if the executive suites had a Jacuzzi, I was told yes. When I checked in the room had none, and the bathtub looked old and used All these these might seem little details but it should definitely not happen in a 5* hotel where the least one can expect (if not getting the "WOW!" effect) is a flawless experience

Friendly check-in. Cumbersome Wi-Fi connectivity procedure. Weird room temperature controls. Old and scant desk space in the room. Great bathroom with odd shower door opening. Decent breakfast with few menu choices. Dysfunctional check out that missed my car reservation. Excellent car dispatcher and service.

« A wonderful experience with no hot water »

My partner and I were getting out of the house for the evening and going out to a nice restaurant next to the hotel. The room was lovely but the much-looked-forward-to shower/bath had no hot water, which put a serious crimp in our plans. It turned out that this was a hotel-wide issue and the hot water was back when we returned that night, but it definitely made our visit less enjoyable.

Excellent in every way. Delicious breakfast buffet and wonderfully comfortable room. I only wish I had realized sooner there was a steam room, dry sauna and jacuzzi in addition to the indoor/outdoor heated pool. Amazing.

« A nice weekend away »

Lovely bedroom, carpet looks out of date, there is few selection for pillows. There is no list of channels to look at in a chart but we were trying to find out as we changed channels. Few common areas to relax and spend time but good gym, swimming pool and spa. (there are only so many hours one can be at these areas though).
