This experience was good, however, I expected more from your experience and attention with the host. I arrived on Sunday morning, and I lost my baggage with the airline, I don't receive any help before a stressful trip, or a warm welcome. So the employees at the hotel only follow the guides to give a room until 1 pm or pay a fee to access the room, I focus in this point because your hotel should be remembered by experience.... The facilities are ok, but your staff lack empowerment to resolve issues. they are unhelpful and pretty useless to solve any issue. I had to ask for the Manager on Duty to be able to resolve my issue, which she did immediately and efficiently. but it took me for me to talk to some 6 other employees and scream quite a bit until i got to the MOD.

The hotel in itself was perfect with multiple restaurants on the property. The food was great, bed very comfortable, and room very clean. It is convenient to offer local tour car s. but charges almost 4 times more than an outside taxi. Don’t use the hotel taxi service!

The rooms could do with a little upgrading but I love the hotel, and it would be nice to have a mini bar with things in. Also the coffee machines are terrible in the room. But everything else if fantastic. The bed is very comfortable. The bathrooms are well equipped and the shower is great. The food in the hotel is always good. The bar area is great, although the piano is a bit too much. The gym, pool and spa area are great. The staff are all so friendly and very welcoming. Also so helpful. I would like to thank the team who were so quick in replying when I had to organise a car and also change my arrival date. Also a special mention to the lovely lady who worked in the lobby bar. I think her name was Paloma. She is the nicest person all the time. Always a smile and a polite word, and great service. She represents the hotel perfectly, you should be very proud of her. I will be back in August, and will be looking forward to staying again. Thanks.

I thought the hotel was nice but too expensive for what i got. Taxi offered from the hotel to the sirport was at least four times more expensive than the alternative. Also it was mentioned at the concierge that a local taxi would not accept a credit card which was untrue. Wine at at the bar was good but too expensive.

In regards to your comments about the taxi rates, unfortunately the taxi service that is offered at the door is not part of Swissôtel Lima, therefore we don’t have any direct input on the rates of the taxis. However, the bellboys are more than willing to hail a city cab and give you pointers as to how much you should expect to pay, just to save you a little time and money on your next visit. We would like to let you know also, that we offer several packages for weekends for leisure travelers and in case you travel for business matters, we do offer corporates rates. I stayed for a full week and I enjoyed my stay a lot. The Executive Room is a great thing if you are upgraded. The Le Cafe buffet has even Vegan selections (not all that common in Latin America) and Le Fondue and La Locanda restaurants have a great atmosphere and great food.

The staff was very helpful and breakfast was very good. When I had splinter from Cactus (outside hotel) in one finger, asked for help from the restaurant manager during breakfast, he quickly found a medical lady took me to her office to help me out. While on my way to her office in basement, I saw the whole kitchen was clean & organized. Above all these, The most comfortable bed ever! The only issue was after we checked out, went for a lunch in Gourmet Deli before we headed to airport, we were told the 15% discount coupon was no longer valuable. Emmm, at least it should last the whole same day?
