It was a good pleasant stay.. The food was very good.. The staff were excellent and polite.. Special mention can be made of Miss. Adkhikari(intern), Miss Kim, Miss Srabobi & Mr. Jefferson. They were very efficient and helpful. The only shortcoming was that on the first night of my stay, the A/C of the room was not working. I had to ask the hotel service to repair that the next morning.

Disappointing when we found hair in our meal in the evening. The meal was not charged but an argument ensued as to whether I should pay for the wine. It was conceded. Not a pleasant experience. Hotel and room otherwise OK.

I have stayed twice at this property now. The last time around The experience was delightful. This time I had a reasonable stay. However some areas which were earlier present were not there in this stay. The rooms usually have fruits and cookies when guest arrives. There was a bathrobe in the restroom. Both of these were missing. However the staff courtesy and support has always been excellent and admirable. I have stayed across multiple hotels in Europe and Asia and i found the experience in the hotel of similar quality.

Everything was perfect!!!! At least the transfer from and to the airport was amazing! And last but not least that we could store the luggage at the hotel and it was delivered to the airport in the evening at no extra cost was a impressive service!!! Will cdefibtily choose Swisshotel again!!!

I was happy with the services provided by Reception, House Keeping and Restaurant Staff (Breakfast). I think Concierge Section needs to be little faster in transferring luggage to the rooms. I had to call several times to remind about my luggage. However, I feel this delay may not be a regular matter and should be able to overcome with counseling. Over all my stay was pleasant.

« The staff is pathetic. »

The people on the other end of the phone cannot communicate clearly in either of the common languages used in the area, be it english, hindi Or bengali. Once I called on 0 the lady 'kim' on the other side of the call seemed too lathargic to be kept to answer calls from inhouse guests, disinterested in getting the requests fullfilled even after repeatedly asking her to get things done., she didnt pay a heed to anything that I was saying. Also the duty manager that day was way too rude than it is expected after paying almost 20k a night. And the behaviour of the duty manger was way too disappointing than kim because this lady was talking to me as if I was staying for free and simply denying me things saying that such things are okay in swissotel when complained about Kim may be she was trying to safeguard her or what. But overall a very 'less than average' experience because of poor staffing. I liked the concept of my room. Only the concept. No service was worth the price that we had paid. Also the food in the breakfast was horrible. After repeated instructions, they made the most pathetic food possible ever. The aloo paratha was so thick that it looked more like an idli than a paratha. Anyway, you wanted a review, here is it.

« Incredible customer service and beautiful property »

From check in to check out the services was unparalleled. The staff was most accommodating and went out their way to ensure my comfort and make me feel like family. I had a bad knee upon arrival and the manager of Maaya and main bartender provided me with ice for my knee and ensured that I was comfortable enough to visit with my colleagues. Food was terrific all round.

« why book - because you do not offer what you book. »

when we checked in past midnight, we were told that the twin bed that we had booked cannot be given. instead queen bed was offered. upon our insistence, a separate bed was arranged with an assurance that twin bed room would be made available for second night. we packed our bags and returned the key card at the reception but when we come back - again past midnight, the first day story is repeated. totally mindless to book and pay since they do not go as per booking.

Quality of stay (accommodation wise) - Was very good. Getting cutlery to the room to have dinner - Room service took 45 mins to delivery (while I was on the 6th floor, which houses a café as well).
