We had a wonderful experience. This was our second time at The Savoy and we will be back. The staff is wonderful. However, our butler Francis is amazing. He has gone above and beyond during both of our stays. The atmosphere is beautiful. The suite is comfortable as well as elegant. Our needs were always met and we have nothing to complain about. Truly a lovely hotel, wonderful staff andI also had the best massage and facial!

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay with friendly helpful staff. However we were disappointed after returning from our evening out to be told we couldn’t go to the American Bar for a night cap as it closes at 12. We then went to the Beaufort Bar where there wasn’t a table immediately available but we were welcome to take a seat and wait in the area outside where someone would take a drink order for us, which we were happy to do. After waiting around 15 minutes still no-one came to us for our drink order. I returned to the front of house to ask about getting drinks, only then were we shown to a table. Once at the bar we had a very pleasant and enjoyable cocktail. Upon going up to our room we were greeted with not having any turn down, a note was left saying they understood we didn’t require it. We hadn’t at any point said we didn’t want turn down. However a quick phone call and it was rectified. Apart from these minor issues we had a very pleasant stay and look forward to our next visit.

One might say that we were treated like royalty and to some that would be the case. You could also say that there is a certain distance between royalty and those that serve them. For us it was a question of once again being amongst friends who were both non intrusive and who also wanted to bend over backwards to give us the best experience. I believe I have said this before but all you have to do is ask and you get with and friendly smile however the awkward or difficult the question. Their miracles take just a tad longer to achieve.

great except for the power outage

We were very happy with how things were going at the Savoy. The service was tip top. However, there was a power outage towards the end of our stay, which lasted several hours and threw a wrench in our evening plans. It was a problem specific to the Savoy, not a general London outage. I would have expected the Savoy to try and make this up to us somehow. It's something I'll definitely consider before reserving at the Savoy again.

The whole experience was fabulous . Check in was smooth . Marta was amazing - she really listened to me whilst we chatted on our walk to show me to my room , and surprised me with a wonderful gesture on behalf of the hotel with a box of chocolates for my auntie who has had an operation . The hand written note with an image of Frank Sinatra was the cherry on the cake . Wonderful stay - I felt so special for 24 hours

The level of service at this hotel was excellent. We were upgraded on arrival, which is always welcome. The room was unbelievably beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Unfortunate for us we were only there for one night. We'll be back for my 40th birthday in November 2021. This trip guaranteed it.

While we only stayed 2 nights at the Savoy, we were made to feel like royalty. It is like every time we leave our room, housekeeping senses it and fixes everything we have left so that upon return, everything is speck and span. Food is also good and beautifully served.
