The rooms were clean, and service timely. The staff were accommodating and efficient. The concierge always of help. The doorman courteous. Mannus of Simpson was great, he knows the history and was very attentive and pleasant. Breakfast was good- a few lapses but negligible. Food at Kaspar’s can be improved.

I have stayed at the Savoy several times, and I already feel at home when I arrive at the hotel and settle in a room. I worried about the road closure on the day of our departure, but they (especially, Rob) arranged everything for us and parked our car on Exeter Street. It is a little pity that the menu of the Kasper's Grill has been changed and did not have sushi and fish and chips.

Staff were attentive. Restaurant grill was relaxing and not rushed. Staff met need and were ultra polite. Anniversary 10 years was celebrated at the Savoy after proposing there 12 years ago.

This is a terrifically elegant hotel. Every interaction was high-end professional. The location is outstanding. The concierge service was excellent. The room was nice (not great), and the AC and shower worked very well, also. My only dings are that for the price, which is dear, it didn't seem as nice as it should have been.

The hotel is stunning and well located though I found the concierge service to not measure up to the quality of the hotel. Recommendations for restaurants and bars were quite disappointing.

We were staying over the weekend for our golden wedding anniversary. The staff made us very welcome indeed It was all the little touches such as the acknowledgments we got during our stay that showed clearly that our file had notes on it that made the weekend. We had hoped and expected good food and service and we got those. It was the extra touches such as the card and golden balloons in the room and many others that so made the difference

Quite nice. Wish we could have had a tea reservation as it looked really great. Room was pleasant and functional and staff were very polite and helpful. - Room was great. - Staff was very helpful and pleasant and even charming. - Things left for children were nice and appreciated. - The path to Embankment a nice feature and labeled well enough to find. Security for events in the space there were sometimes questioning us on entry but I think that is appropriate. - Artwork and Gilbert & Sullivan themes are very nice - Tea looked wonderful; too bad there was not a reservation available. If there is any way to facilitate this for hotel guests that would be great but I imagine it is in very high demand. - Would recommend insulated ice buckets (the metal ones are very nice but the ice melts very quickly). Of course leave it to an American to complain about the ice!! Thanks for having us!

Absolutely incredible. From the moment I stepped out of the car I was impressed. "Good Afternoon and welcome to the Savoy how are you today"? The doorman was Kind, friendly, personal but professional. Check-in process was awesome Danja Schluter, Assistant Front officer Manager was very helpful with checking in. Danja, was attentive very detailed. She was kind and engaging you could see in her smile how much she loves her job. The Savoy hotel is not a 5 star, it is a 10-star hotel. Their staff is polite very helpful. Their concierge is knowable and gave excellent recommendations from Restaurants to shopping. If you’re traveling to London, the Savoy is the only place to stay. You are treated as if you are the only person in the hotel. Centrally located to many shops, restaurants and tourist attractions.

30th Wedding Anniversary celebration

We returned to The Savoy to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, as it was where we’d stayed on our wedding night. We arrived early, therefore our luggage was held, but we received a text to inform us when our room was ready. Returning, we went to a beautifully comfortable room with a river view, where we had a bottle of champagne waiting, a cake and a lovely congratulatory message for the Savoy staff. We booked the gourmet package, dinner in The Grill was excellent and breakfast outstanding. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The only disappointing thing was that we had to leave!
