From the moment of arrival until the moment of departure,and beyond, the level of service was outstanding. We love the hotel, the décor and ambiance are both wonderful. The attention to detail both from the customer facing and non customer facing staff are a credit to the company. I would like to particularly commend and bring to your attention the very excellent service provided by Tan, who waited at our table on both mornings for breakfast. She was very courteous, friendly and attentive without being obtrusive, a very difficult balance to achieve. In our opinion a real credit to your hotel. The only negative, and really a minor one, is the there is a patch of rough rust in the bath in the room.

The entire experience was absolutely wonderful. Our stay was a celebratory holiday due to my daughter's graduation as a doctor. I must thank all the staff and in particular Lukasz and Tony who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We used to be regular guests at The Savoy but tend not stay as regularly due to our new apartment in London. However after this last experience this is likely to change.

As I said poor, breakfast dress code and service poor. Room, poor, You are paying over £600 a night, could of stayed at a Hilton £200 a night with better service.

« We were treated like royalty! »

Our Golden Wedding. Great attention to detail, staff remembered requests without reminders eg extra beans at breakfast!! Nothing too much trouble and room had great view of the Thames. Carpets showed signs of wear and curtains had shrunk a little-2" from floor- otherwise mark would be 10.

Fantastic stay. I came from the States to celebrate my 70th birthday in an historic hotel with a special connection to the US - it was the American officer's club and hotel during WW2. You lived up to my expectations and even did some special extras, like a birthday cake and free upgrade. You are by far the No. 1 hotel in London. Thank you very much.

The room was excellent and was kept spotless. Thames view was good although I would have preferred a higher floor to see over the trees. I loved the American Bar and was a regular there, the hostess Laura was so welcoming and happy, she was a pleasure to meet!

Was here with my Civil Partner to attend a Prom at the RAH and an opera at Holland Park. We had restaurants booked elsewhere for lunches and dinners but we ate breakfast in Kaspars every day which is the best experience with which to start your day - very comfortable with a massive menu, well executed and beautifully served. We also entertained my niece to Sunday afternoon tea which was delightful. Our room was very well kept with outsize bathrobes as stated in my Fairmont profile. I did not however receive the London Standard newspaper which I specified whilst checking in. I have now changed my special request profile to the Guardian newspaper. All my encounters with staff made me very happy and I must note the helpful advice given by the conciergerie on transport during the bicycle races and assistance in getting taxis during the Strand closure.

Everything was fantastic! From the front desk assisting me with a room change/upgrade, to the spa services, the food and service at Kaspar and especially the amazing service from Leo at the Beaufort Bar. Greg at the concierge was also exceptional in helping us arrange a last minute half day private tour with car and driver. My only critique is that the room service (whether the person taking the order or the kitchen) should pay closer attention to any special requests/dietary needs of guests.

« Outstanding customer service! »

Emily was our first contact at the hotel and she was incredibly warm and welcoming. We had a leaking bathroom faucet in our room which couldn’t be easily fixed, so Emily moved us to another room. The A/C in that room was not working, but they fixed it quickly. We understood that problems will happen out of our control, but how the staff reacted to them was uniquely gracious and accommodating.
