« A truly unforgettable experience »

The Savoy Hotel certainly met with and indeed surpassed our expectations. We stayed for two nights and experienced Kaspar's Restaurant, The American Bar and afternoon tea all of which were excellent. We wanted to have drinks in The American Bar on Saturday evening but because of its popularity we were unfortunately not permitted access. Perhaps guests staying at the hotel should be given some sort of preferential access? We felt the staff were very positive, friendly and helpful, a real credit to the hotel.

Really enjoyed the stay at hotel, able to upgrade to suite when we arrived. Service was fantastic. Took advantage of the pool and relaxation area, as well as the restaurant and bar. Very enjoyable in all areas.

Our rooms were not ready on arrival (3pm) but a complimentary drink in the American Bar more than compensated for this. This was a family visit with my two daughters aged 19yrs and 17yrs. We were advised we couldn't use the hotel bars (because my youngest was too young) though an exception was made for our complimentary drink. We were advised that if we wanted to have a pre and post show (Dream Girls) drink we should use the bar in Simpsons. I thought this was extraordinary and not something I have experienced at any hotel or restaurant I have been to. Following the show I went to the Beaufort bar but was advised that there would be a 40 minute wait. When I said I was resident I was found a seat at the bar on the left behind a curtain. When joined by my wife and daughters we were told that they couldn't be accommodated and so my wife stayed and I sent my daughters to their room. The bar manager, however, sorted this out incredibly quickly and efficiently and found a table for four. We then recalled the girls from their room and they were presented with a complimentary glass of champagne (notwithstanding the hotel's strict policy regarding under 18s). Our rooms and breakfast were exactly what we would expect from a five star hotel, superb. Our initial experience of the bars however was a long way short of five stars and overall pretty uncomfortable. Great when settled in though! But overall an extremely enjoyable experience.

The Savoy did a great job of making us feel both welcome and well treated while we were in London. Job very well done. The only disappointment was the gym. I have better equipment in my home gym!

I have been to the Savoy on many occasions in the past for events and afternoon tea but I had never stayed. If I am honest I was slightly disappointed at the size of the room, my bathroom at home is much bigger than the one we had.

All went well apart from our room, we had to experience a poor nights sleep due to very loud air-con unit, had to change room, breakfast was a disaster again!! dissapointed with the full english and my wife's Eggs Benedict warlike warm inedible this was our third stay with you this year and breakfast is always a disaster.

From check in to departure everything went smoothly. Exotic cocktails in the American bar and dinner in the 'Grill' on the evening followed by a well served breakfast in the morning were perfect. I suppose the room could have been a little larger with better outlook but for one evening it was fine and nicely fitted in the art deco style.

My experience of The Savoy was truly amazing, an unforgettable experience for my mother whom we had treated to an overnight stay as part of her 50th birthday celebrations. Even from the first point of contact of enquiring about staying I was treated exceptionally, truly polite staff. The young lady Veronica who welcomed and book us in for our stay was lovely, a credit to the hotel. I will 100% be recommending The Savoy to family and friends.

« One of the best days of my life! »

I stayed at The Savoy having won the opportunity in a competition. I was excited, having always wished I could be a guest but never thinking it would ever happen. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles, before being taken to our room, which, had unbelievably been upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite! The suite was... well... unreal. Beautiful, spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable, with a view of the Thames that brought a grin to my face. Margo took us through the checking in process before handing us over to Francis, our butler, who showed us around the suite before taking his leave, only to return shortly after with some cupcakes from the chef which had photos of my dog on top of them. I very nearly burst into tears at that point. I can honestly say, from the bottom of my heart, that our stay at The Savoy was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had and one of the best days/nights of my life. 2017 has seen me be diagnosed with (and thankfully get rid of) Cancer, have it recur later in the summer (again, all gone now), lose a relative to suicide, and have my Mum also find out she had cancer (again, all gone) and, with all of this, I sunk into a horrible depression. I had started to feel better in the weeks leading up to my stay with you but, honestly, being within your walls was a tonic that allowed me to take another big step towards healing after everything this year has thrown at me. I will be forever thankful or the kindness and hospitality you showed me and I am desperate to come back! I have my own blog (www.apennyforthem.co.uk) which I use as a form of online diary and I will be writing about my stay at The Savoy just as soon as I am able to formulate the words to begin to explain how incredible it was. Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. For everything.

« When I made a mistake and arrived a day earlier than my reservation, at 10:30 pm at night after a flight from New York City, the check-in staff were incredibly gracious and found an available room for me...how's that for great service!! »

I was incredibly impressed with the friendly, professional staff members that always made you feel like you were special. From the reception check-in staff, to housekeeping when they delivered an adaptor plug so that I could use my devices and another staffer who brought me an iron and ironing board to press my clothing, to the wait staff at afternoon tea or morning breakfast including a young lady who sent my left-over tea pastries to my room for consumption later-on, to the bell-boy who secured a tube of toothpaste for me.

I love staying at the Savoy since it is very centrally located and walking distance to Covent Garden and many restaurants and shops. Their service is very personalized and their staff cater to returning guests.

« AMAZING »

Had a great day celebrating my husband's 50th birthday, but was very disappointed that my request for drinks and a cake at 12 midnight was not forfilled as a special request was made over the phone a day before us checking in. A lovely lady when checking out made a gesture by giving us chocolates, but I'm afraid he didn't quite make up for it!!!

The Savoy hotel is second to none. The staff cannot do enough to welcome you and you are treated like royalty. The hotel is exceptionally clean and immaculate.I would only stay here when in London.
