Breakfast service impeccable. TV remote control not funtioning the first 24 hours. Very annoying indeed!! Why is a hotel of your standard and price tarifs not able to offer free minibar at the room?? The wardrobe closet should have had slidings doors !!

I was really disappointed, the room was not on the lake view so simply not worth it to pay the huge amount of money, I will not repeat the experience again On the check in although the rate was fully paid, they insisted to have fully 1050 euro in cash, so my trip was damaged from the beginning , I asked them to remove the alcohol from the bar they charged me 8 euro Whaaaaaaats ? horrible I won't come again last time i was in Marriotte and really reasonable stay comparing to the amount of money you pay No recommendation

We really enjoyed our short stay at the hotel . The service was excellent - everyone from the doormen , reception staff , housekeeping and restaurant staff were so friendly , courteous and helpful. Our suite was beautiful - spacious and luxurious , and with wonderful views over the lakefront

Location and facilities were very good. Couple of things were not so good: Waiting 10 minutes for anyone to check us in even though there was only 1 other guest at reception at the time; Daily papers were not delivered on the first morning; No availability for any of the restaurants on the Friday night unless we were willing to dine at 6pm, and no indication that this was a regretful situation from the receptionist, the implication was that we should have booked earlier.

At the beginning, I came accross with some problems related gluten free bread and pasta stock problems. Then Mr. Richard solve these matters. Next time before I arrive, I will definitely send email to richard to know I will be there. I really like the suite room view. Hotel has the best location in Hamburg. Spa is very nice and relaxing. I like the vintage key rings. Grill restaurant has very nice and tasty food.

Check in experience was horrible. The young man didn’t smile, Mis-informed me about when my room will be ready. Charged A random amount on my credit card without explaining it to me for warning hey random amounts on my credit card without explaining it to me or warning me me. No one explain how to use the strange keys to access the rooms. Was border line rude. Breakfast was a complete disaster where I waited almost 30 minutes for two simple eggs with finally came prepared the wrong way. I ended up leaving breakfast and going to another restaurant should eat. While in the gym, I requested a remote control, it took 30 minutes to arrive, and when it did, the girl was rude and that was the wrong remote control for the television. The room was not cleaned properly, the dirty spoons, or replaced back into the drawer without being washed

Breakfast was nice.but still unhygenic areas in the breakfast area. Eg: lot of flies or insects on the fruit salads.no lids. In room air conditioning stops in the midnight. When I said this problem to reception, they said me to open windows which was rediculous. The room was no air-conditioning and too warm for the whole nights 5 days. Few of them from reception telling lies .Eg: when I asked for a ventilator, they said to me that will come in one day . Later when I asked them, no response from them. I am planned for the whole days till year end... But I am planning to change to other hotel. I will see how it works in next week. If it is the same situation, then I cancel all my reservations. This was my personal feedback regarding two weeks stay in Fairmont
