« Service is not really 5 starts hotel... »

Hello, I am a permanent guest in your hotel. In the past 3 weeks, There is a feeling that the service is not as good as it was before. I am staying in your hotel from May 2018 normally Monday to Thursday (and in total about 40 nights so far). Last week (Monday 30.07) I complained 5 times that the coffee machine in my room doesn't work. Five times! Tuesday (morning + evening), Wednesday (morning + evening) and Thursday morning. No one replaced it, or fixed it. This week (Monday 6.8.2018) the safe place in my room (531) was closed due to a wrong password. It means that the password of the last guest is still there... I asked (once) to open it for me, so I will be able to use it, they promised that it will be fixed a day after, but so far no one really care for it. Generally the level of the room cleaning is also went down. not enough towels, or not re-fill of the coffee capsules, or other stuff. Breakfest room: One day there is no french butter, the other day they took the ginger drink out... When I order an Omelett with Cheese, I get an Omelett with BACON. For religious reasons I dont eat bacon, still its fine with me but still you have some other guests in this time of the year from the arabian golf which may accept it really badly and may make a circus out of it. I do like your hotel, I am very happy to stay there for a very good Tarif that my company could get with you. I am grateful for that. I will NEVER publish my critic in any platform like Tripadvisor. Still I believe that for 400-500€per night (for "normal" guests) your hotel can and should be able to suggest more. Thank you for the possibility to give your guests the feedback and I am happy to stay

Room was not available until almost 4 pm, requested early check in at noon because of children and long flights. Was never told that this was not possible. lack of attentiveness. breakfast buffet at 39 euros was not worth it at all. staff was ok.

Service, Reception, Personnel were excellent as always. One downside the different rooms in our category are very different from the size as well as the balcony size. The first room we got was 1/4 smaller than the room we staid in last time. So we requested a change which happened, but now we are concerned for the next time. And thousands of spiders on the balcony. All in all the choice of restaurants make it one of the two best hotels in Hamburg

Nice homely hotel in the heart of Hamburg. Staff were ever ready to help and always smiling. The room was clean and had lovely bathroom. Several seating areas for private reception or discussions. The housekeeping staff were prompt. I will definitely return to this hotel.

We found the experience with the front desk and restaurant staff to be below the standards we would expect from Fairmont. The service in Nikkei Nine, the Japanese Fusion restaurant was superb however which led us to believe it must be managed by another organization.

From the first minute arriving by car we were treated with movie star ambience by the front door porter, help to get the car parked, the front desk, the upgrade to a wonderful room. The room and the hotel is not new, but the interior is not dated. We had dinner at the grill restaurant, with the decor of an ancient atlantic liner. It was a bit thinly visited. Maybe normal on a Wednesday evening in the summer holiday season.
