An extremely pleasant stay, including a free upgrade for my wife and I on honeymoon and a treat waiting for us in the room. Fantastic views, unbelievably comfortable bed, excellent breakfast buffet, lovely spa facilities and impeccable room service. All staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Excellent hotel. A large, spacious, very clean room, daily with mineral water and coffee capsules. Courteons service, an indoor pool and a jacuzzi, a lovely view. Excellent breakfast. Taxis are available 24 hours a day. Definitely worth the price.

Very comfortable room with Caspian Sea view and fantastic panorama of the City. The staff were extremely efficient and professional and the housekeeping excellent. We enjoyed many a tea, cocktail and snack at 'Nur' bar. We enjoyed the piano playing in the beautiful lounge.

Helpful and friendly staff. Dirty windows ruined the view. The outdoor swimming pool was unusable and bad condition. Broken clases, garbage.

This an usual experience in this hotel. I book my room in 15 of Sep. 2018, However my stay in sep 25. The hotel used my credit card the following day which did not expect to have. This was not as explained in cancellation policy which is one day before arrival. This make me to call the bank and investigate about this charges. The bank canceled my cared and issue a new one after 5 days. This behavior from the hotel inconvenient and west my time updating all applications and notefing all hotels abou the change of my cared. In addition my booking was see veiw room they upgraded me to city suite room because they are fully book and the following day the gave me partial see veiw. All this happened in Fairmont hotel Baku . I am not happy to be in this hotel and I will not stay again.

Staying at the Fairmont Baku Flame Towers was an absolutely phenomenal experience. From the moment we arrived we found ourselves thoroughly impressed at every turn. We were assigned to a Fairmont Gold One Bedroom suite with a breathtaking view of the Caspian Sea, which was undoubtedly a highlight of our visit. The Gold lounge ranks among the best I’ve visited across the Fairmont portfolio. Once again, the view of the Caspian Sea throughout the lounge is spectacular, and the food and beverage offering is well curated with a mix of local and international offerings. Of course, it really is the staff that guarantees a stay on Gold to be a memorable and relaxing one, and the Gold team at Fairmont Baku made sure of this. In particular, Nadir on Gold elevated our experience beyond measure; he was perfectly attentive and anticipated our every need — a Fairmont brand ambassador in every sense. If you visit the Fairmont Baku, you will not be disappointed with a stay on Gold, especially if you are fortunate to experience Nadir’s gracious hospitality. Without hesitation, the Fairmont Baku is a must visit. It is clear that the property is managed with strong leadership, as excellence is noticeable throughout the hotel and in each team member delivering an iconic experience that will have you wanting to return sooner than later!

Overall the hotel was satisfactory experience, we found the staff to be helpful although language was an issue at times. The cleanliness of the room was a let down, our bathroom had mould around the tiles and smell of sewage/drain came up through the pipes in the toilet. Upon check-in we were not advised what was part of our package and as a result we were unaware of afternoon and tea and dinner that was included. The hotel amenities were good and we enjoyed using the gym, outdoor pool and spa (the staff at the spa were very good). I would recommend paying close attention to the cleanliness of the rooms as they are not up to standard, certainly not 5*. We were also disappointed to hear parts of the hotel were (Jazz bar and Nur Lounge) were not accessible due to other events during our stay which, was an inconvenience.

First of all I want to highlight that we were very positively impressed about the hotel and its design, the location and the rooms. The rooms assigned were nice and offering beautiful views, a big thanks to all for that efforts done. It was my first stay at a Fairmont hotel after the integration into the Le Club program, having been a long time Platinum member I’ve stay in 100’s of Accor Hotels worldwide and experience their services. My expectation to the Fairmont Hotel where high, seeing the classification of the brand compared to other Accor Hotels. However I must admit that my expectation where not met and I left without having that memorable stay I was looking to. Consequently I would like to provide you with my comments and impressions. • No Hotel information where provide neither by letter nor verbally explaining the usage of the Gold Lounge, the Hotel facilities, any other Le Club Platinum benefits etc. However thanks to the Whats App service offered I could arrange to get answers to my questions, which is indeed a great thing. • The Gold lounge was very nice, offering lots of space and again breath-taking views; the Hotel did in the mention that the Gold Lounge/Rooms where like a Hotel inside of a Hotel. I was therefore expecting it to be something very special and different from any other Hotel lounge such as the ones from Sofitel, Pullman or Novotel I’m used. I must admit that the breakfast itself was nice with a good variety. During the day the snacks available where not different from what one can get on other Lounges; the evening hours offered a great verity again of different on food items but also nothing different to other experiences I had. However what most shocked was that though several alcoholic drinks where displayed almost none where included. Only local wine and local beer all other drinks where charged! On all lounge I’ve been so far the selection might have been smaller indeed, but at least all drinks where included and nothing was charged separately without even having a price list. The staff itself was also not very helpful in general nor charming which was also disappointing. Seeing that Fairmont is protecting their lounge that much (no offering it as a Le Club Platinum benefits) I was looking to have a superb lounge, which as described wasn’t the case. • In general LE LABO amenities are the standard on Fairmont properties, however on your Hotel there were none, only local branded ones that did not had the exclusivity one would expect being on a Fairmont and on a Gold Room. After inquiring it via What App service I was informed it would be delivered to room, this was nice but also weird. Why do I need to request for it, when it’s the Fairmont fragrances and in your webpage, videos etc you are promoting and showing them? • After inquiring how the Welcome Dink works for Le Club Platinum via Whats App I was advised that I could get any non-alcoholic beverages, which again it’s a negative aspect, since having access to the Lounge I could get soft drinks there anyway and further being on a Fairmont property the expiation are bit higher, however the standard you offer was the same I receive Ibis Styles property. At no other place I was only offered soft drinks and the value of being a Platinum members is therefore not worth at Fairmont or at least your property. As you may understand form my comments the expectation did not meet reality and after that stay I won’t claim me being now a Fairmont fan.

« Great time at the Indian Wedding - before, during and after! »

We stayed during a wedding of a friends daughter, along with about 400 other guests! We stayed before and after the wedding and had a chance to really see the hotel in all aspects. The service was exemplary and the staff were are so friendly and supportive. Our room was lovely - we especially loved the automatic drape opening feature at the bedside. The meals were all lovely. We also used the spa and it too was quite wonderful. We did find the music at the pool a little loud but it was really not a major consideration.
