VIP checking on the 19th floor - 20min nobody... Signature room is on the booking.com : "on the upper floors"! Offered 8th floor or upgrade to biggest room on the 13th floor (with bad view) The smell of cigarettes on the toilet!! Breakfast was not on the 19th floor, but only on the ground floor! Minibar locked. TV in the toilet does not work. My lowest rating on the booking.com.

Not satisfied with staff' great facility but not professional staff at all, i had issue with one of female staff not allowing me to have breackfast down restaurant instead of vip lounge, then staff working in restaurants not responded quickly to our inquiries. Keep ignoring, some of them talks to each other alot which make us feels uncomfortable

The hotel experience generally was great, we were able to get our rooms before the check in time which was amazing, the process of checking in and checking out did not take long which is much appreciated. However, there were few things that did not satisfy me. As a frequent traveler, adaptor is extremely important, and when I called the reception they said they did not have them, however, I tried my luck by going downstairs and asking for one and they gladly gave me one. Whenever I request something it gets delivered quickly which is great, but one thing that really made me unhappy is that when something is delivered the carrier knocks on the door once and immediately opens the door. This happened more than once and it is not ok, they should respect the privacy of the people staying in the hotel and knock the door 2-3 times before entering. Other than that everything was great.

It was good, but as we was a gold member there wasnt difference between a gold a nd a normal guest, at 19th floor the service wasnt good and nobody asked for any identifiction so everybody could come there easily. two days nobody said us to go 19th floor for breakfast, we had it down stairs. The snacks wasnt good my husband got poisoned because of the fish and we had to stay one more night because he didnt feel good. But overally it is very beautiful hotel with kind staffs.

Fairmont baku was disappointing for the room charges. The furniture in our room was worn out. Specially the mattress was below avg. i have never had such matress in any 5 star hotel around the world. Its in bad shape and expired a long time ago i guess. I stayed for 3 night and daily woke up with back pain. Other thing is the service, i made a deposit other than my room rate so i could use room dining etc. But they had my mini bar locked till 2nd day. I had to reminind then to open it four times. I ordered in room dining after arriving and the asked on call how will you pay. I had extra funds in deposit but the asked me to pay by cash. If we are staying in 5 star hotel like fairmont these things dont go with the reputation. I originally booked for 8 nights but my booking got canceled because my flight was delayed one day. So i booked for 3 nights on the counter and thats the best decision i made. I moved to four seasons, its better than in every aspect. Better service better in room dining better furniture and better staff attitude.
