« Memorable for the beautiful room, great service and wonderful entertainment in the lounge. »

My daughter and I were meeting up for the first time in a long while and were treated to an upgraded due to their being a conference. We were off to a great start. We ended up staying at the hotel, having a swim and hot tub and then enjoying the entertainment in the lounge so much we didn't leave the hotel other than for a stroll around the village when we first arrived. Room service was fabulous and all staff are not only friendly but very knowledgable.

Excellent, everyone was courteous and professional. There was only one problem. We didn’t look at the bill or account until we were checking out. We didn’t realize we were paying for an upgraded room until it was time to leave. I feel that this should have been brought to our attention upon arrival. I should have contested the price of the upgrade before leaving, but we were in a hurry to get to our next destination.

Outdoor pool and hot tub were one of the great experience this time. Also it’s very quiet in the night so my toddler daughter slept well. I will definitely come back when we plan to go to Whistler again.

Stayed one night, the weather was not cooperative but we enjoyed the facilities in the hotel including the cocktail lounge with live music, the hot tubs, and used the gym. Absolutely no complaints.

I am a world traveler. I vacation in whistler 2 tines a year to decompress and recharge in the happiest village on earth. This vacation could have been the worst experience ever in whistler but thanks to the Fairmont Gold team Dayle, Ian, Liam, and Sobrina at the front desk. « We had a comfortable, trouble-free stay with a friendly staff there to assist if needed. »

All went well. We participated in the GranFondo bike race and were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to check our bike in. The breakfast buffet was one of the best ever (and at a fair price we might add). Will return just for that with our kids. The only two downsides...our view was of the pebble-covered roof (but somebody's gotta have that room, right? And we were able to check in early)...and I felt the $35 parking fee per day was excessive. We're already paying a high price for a room...to tack on a massive parking fee felt like a bit much. But all in all, a super experience.

Every guest’s experience is very important to us, and I am extremely embarrassed you were not treated equally. I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincerest apologies for what was undoubtedly an inadequate way to start your stay. Naturally, I would like to offer reasons to explain our shortcomings with your recent experience due to the missing Ovation certificates, but I feel that it is inappropriate as it would only make it appear that I am justifying them. Excellent customer service from booking to check out. I called in the evening before letting the staff know I would be arriving with a baby early in the morning. A room was ready for me at 730am upon my arrival. Our crib was delivered with unscented toiletries for our baby along with a bath robe for him which we loved. Every request was promptly attended to. The room was comfortable and clean, and we dined in the restaurant 4 times during our 3 days stay. The restaurant staff was friendly and professional and the food was excellent.
