« Great room, billing issues. »

Room was nice but we had an issue with billing at checkout. Took 30 minutes to fix it. Parking came with the room (I prepaid for it) and they acknowledged that at check in. At checkout I asked for the bill, asked him about parking and he told me it was all set. I walked out the door, looked at the bill, and saw it was ok there twice. I went back in and it took 30 minutes for them to fix it.

It was my husband's and my first experience with the Fairmont. It provided luxury accommodations and outstanding customer service from the time we arrived and until our departure. Our stay was for one week. By the time we departed, our experience ensured us that we were part of the Fairmont family. The staff that managed the 9th floor was exceptional. From the guest dining to hospitality service, the Fairmont staff is second to none. Every moment of the day we were serviced as if we were royalty. We enjoyed the Christmas decor, the Santa Santa Suite, and the evening night caps with other patrons. The staff ensured that our stay was memorable.

WE STAYED AT THE HOTEL FOR ONE NIGHT BUT WE HAD 3 ROOMS. WE ALL HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND FRESHLY RENOVATED AND THE FOOD IN THE LOBBY AND THE BREAKFAST DINING ROOM WAS VERY GOOD. LOVED THE LOCATION ALSO.

Had a wonderful Stay. Only one exception. The front desk clerk was a bit curt when I left my key in my room and needed to call security to open the door since I also left my wallet in my room. Other than this clerk, everyone was great!!

We were there for the T./Schwartz wedding. Our experience from start to end was amazing. I have never experienced such friendly, helpful hospitality employees at every level. I had a second room for my 92 year old dad and the bellman who assisted him was great. Made my Dad feel comfortable and answered many questions. The wedding was superb. Every aspect was very professional!!

I always enjoy my stay at this Fairmont in terms of the hotel room in all respects. This stay, though, I arrived at the hotel ~8:15-8:30 p.m., met my adult daughter who was waiting for me there, and we decided to have dinner in the hotel rather than going out because we both were tired and it was very cold outside. I assumed that, given the luxury level of the hotel, the dining room would be in keeping with that--elegant, excellent menu, great food, excellent and elegant service--but that was not our experience. First, we waited at the maître d' station where the sign said to wait to be seated. After a period of no one showing up, I finally walked down and around the corner into the restaurant and waited until a server finally walked out and gave us a table (there was only one other table occupied). The restaurant frankly looked more like a nice hotel coffee shop than a nice restaurant. The server also seemed like someone you would encounter in that kind of place; he did take our order and bring the food and drink, but not with the level of professionalism and service one would expect in a nice restaurant. The menu was ok, although not great. The entrée actually was brought and plopped down within moments after ordering, which I suppose was not bad except it again felt like a short-order place. Server never asked about whether we wanted anything more and I had to flag him down when he appeared in order to get our check. All in all, I found the restaurant totally inconsistent with the Fairmont experience and not somewhere I would ever go again.

nice stay. Concierge could have been more helpful with our Thanksgiving reservation (at the hotel) and the Thanksgiving dinner could have been a better overall experience. When I made the reservation on the phone, I was told that the Overnight Parking charge was $20 on weeknights and the $56 on weekends but we found out at checkout that it was $56 every night and that no adjustment could be made because the parking was outsourced. I don't think that's a satisfactory answer.

« Beautiful hotel but service was not so great. »

We love staying at this hotel but this time around was not so great. We had a noisy neighbor whom turned their room into a disco around 11:30pm. We called security at midnight and was told that they could not here any noise in the hallway. We called security again around 1:15am and were told they couldn't hear anything in the hall so we demanded they come into our room and listen to the racket being made next door. The security guard came into our room and confirmed the noise and finally the neighbors quieted down. Despit this annoyance we had a pleasant stay.
