Hotel location was excellent - very convenient to Georgetown. Overall service experience was average. -Upsold a 'premium room' on check in because my room wasn't ready. -Lobby bar service was awful -Denied a rollaway bed because the 'policy didn't allow' those in a 2 queen room. (they had plenty, just refused to bring us one, forcing us to go buy an air mattress) -Bathroom ventilation didn't work...water condensed and dripped off the ceiling after showering

Two nights with grandkids - two rooms on the Gold Level. Very pleased with everything except the hotel restaurant, Juniper. We returned from a trip to the zoo and went to the Juniper for late lunch. We waited more than 15 minutes for service at the table. We had three children with us and finally one of us had to go to the inside to get someone to wait on us. Finally someone came to take our orders and we ordered food - they said they would come back for drinks. They never came back. When food was served we had to go and get salt and pepper - no one ask us if everything was okay. No drinks ordered, etc. Poor service for such a nice hotel.

There was a brief wait for the computers to be up and running. Once that was done the process went smoothly. The process went smoothly the staff was courteous and precise getting things done. he staff who unpacked our vehicle, moved the car to parking and delivered our luggage to our room were great. They handled the luggage like it was their own. The same goes for the staff who packed the car and brought the car to us when we checked out. The housekeeping staff we spoke to were pleasant, the room was clean and well kept. Even though our stay was short the towels and toiletries were replenished without having to ask. A special thanks to the staff responsible for the vehicles. I had to get my sunglasses from our vehicle the next day. Their attitude was great and the service swift, very much appreciated. The location of the hotel is perfect. The only problem we encountered was dinner at The Juniper Thursday evening. We were seated at 6:30 PM, the waiters service was prompt upon seating. He took my food order and the appetizer and drink orders for the others. It took a while before the others orders were taken. In the interim, two other waiters who attended our table at times to refresh our water glasses and appeared rushed. The problem was with the arrival of the meal which took 2.5 hours from ordering. We received a visit from, I believe the manager, I do not recall how he introduced himself, after one of our party complained about the wait to our waiter. We were with 2 other couples and due to the medical conditions three members of our party had timeliness of the meal was very important. When we had finished our meal a second waiter appeared to be in a rush to clear the table. The food was very good but the dining experience was very unpleasant.

I had a wonderful stay. The service was excellent! I had a room with a beautiful view. Typically, I have a hard time sleeping in hotels due to AC system. This hotel was well designed so I had slept well.

The experience was excellent but the thing that stopped me from giving a 10 was difficulty attracting the eye of a waitress/waiter because they were so busy going too and fro to different parts if the restaurant-part of which is outside

It was average. Nothing really wowed me. My room keys were deactivated at least 3 times during my stay. I don't know if I would stay there again. Too many other top choices.

Stayed two nights to attend a wedding held at the Fairmont. Our room was clean and supplied with everything we needed for a delightful stay. Slept very well in the extremely comfortable bed with double pillows. Enjoyed drinks in the lobby bar area, and the dinner at the wedding was superb. Enjoyed our stay very much at the Washington DC Fairmont.

Enjoyable. We hit the bar each night. It was quiet but....we ordered the same wines both night but was charge $20 more one night versus the other. Also, one night the bar close early.
