Not as good as usual. My Accor Platnium status was not recognized until I asked and I received a parking ticket even though I had called down to add my car to the file (they never added it). Room was nice.

everything , from breakfast to the bedroom was good, except for the dreadful background disco "musicc' in the Arc. either get a live singer just as in the PanPacific, or play classic background music. I saw several of your guests at the PP. first night early start of housekeeping before 8 am, quite noisy. - why not deliver a real newspaper, instaed of the crappy app on my computer? I seriously doisliked this quasi-green ( but selfserving) feature.

We do have various live singers performing every nights in our ARC lounge. Every Friday and Saturday evenings the live performance that finishes at 8pm is followed by a DJ set from 8.30pm onward. I am very sorry that this particular performance didn't suits your tastes and I totally understand your disappointment. I have also noted your comment regarding the newspaper. Fairmont Waterfront has implemented several sustainable actions in order to lower our impact on the environment. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Fairmount Waterfront. Right from the moment we checked in we felt welcomed. Victor acknowledged my wife’s special birthday by providing us with vouchers for a glass of wine and breakfast, which surprised and pleased us both. The server at our breakfast, Alicia, was absolutely delightful. The room and the view of the harbour from our room were spectacular. We are pleased we chose to stay there.

We had a wonderful stay on the Fairmont Gold floor. All the staff were very attentive. Karan, our concierge, got us settled in our room and took care of us from beginning to end. She even surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine, charcuterie plate and cake. My husband took our kids to the outdoor pool which was a tad chilly (heat could have been a bit higher for a cold October day). The food in the gold lounge was great. Breakfast had a wonderful selection. The selection for the afternoon offerings was less than I have seen at other gold lounges, but evening canapés were very nice. The service was the best I’ve ever had at any hotel and we’d love to come back again.

A great experience overall. The room could have been cleaner as there were streaks/lint over the mirror and the desk still had liquid stains on it. The rooms door seal could have also been better to prevent noise from the hallway as it was a very large gap. Bathroom was pleasant including the toilletries provided

The service I received while I stayed at the hotel for 1 week was excellent. I cannot complain about one thing. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant served great breakfast with plenty of options. My room was spotless every day I returned from my business meetings. The gym met my needs. The location was also very good as I was able to fit in some sites like Stanley Park even though I was on a business trip. I would highly recommend the Fairmont Waterfront.

It was lovely. The staff was professional and warm throughout. What I wish had been different: I wish that the concierge who was going to book me a massage at your other property had remembered to do so. I wish the housekeeping left addition shampoo, conditioner and shower gel on my second day. I had to ask for refills in the hallway, and that was the only time they were replenished until the day before I left (of a 5 night stay). I think, especially in a long stay like mine, that they should simply be sure additional toiletries are left for the guest. It is not a smart way to cut corners. There should not be two items titled Wellness in your breakfast menu. On a busy morning I had a meal with no protein delivered. I did not have time for the mistake that day. When I was leaving, I needed to catch a train and the server made an error on my bill, which I had already paid. She had me wait while she corrected the bill. I think, if you have a hotel guest who needs to leave and the error is yours you should just let her go. The difference was $20, but I will remember the stress of not being able to leave for my train to the airport when I needed to. I don't think it was worth it. And the error was not mine. Sometimes, when the guest is late you have to just explain that to your boss, have them understand, and move on. Bright side: concierge did back flips to get me a great table at Nightengale. It was a wonderful evening. They shipped my boxes back to the US flawlessly, even checking the price before sending. Edgar, my server the first night, was an amazing host. Housekeeping staff did a wonderful job making up the room - just leave toiletries please!

From arrival with the super helpful valet, check in was easy, we felt welcomed right away. Bags straight up to our room, no fuss. We brought along our dog for the first time to a Fairmont hotel and were very impressed by the dog-friendliness of the hotel. Thank you for making our stay and Toffee’s so very fun!

I enjoyed the stay with no complaints. The reason I went with 6 out of 10 is the checkout process. I paid for the trip on a company card held by my boss (RAPS Convention next door) and when I checked out they told me I could not use that card because I didn't have it on me. The card was already charged to hold the room, yet I was told it was not on file. The room was booked directly through Fairmont website which took the card with no issues. This was very disappointing considering I booked the room using the discounted rate for professionals attending the RAPS Convention, which obviously means a lot of guests that need to pay using a company card.

I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us but I am sorry that our the billing process was not made clear to you in advance; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. For the safety and security of our guests we are unable to use the credit card used to reserve a reservation as we require to swipe the credit card for each reservation. What we are able to offer our Business Travellers is SecurePay. This is a service in which we verify the cardholders details in advance online, afterwhich we are able to process payment in advance, and if preferred, are also able to use the credit card for all charges. Without this neccessary step we are unable to use a third party credit card without the cardholder and credit card present at the time of check-in. If you would like I would be happy to have this sent to your company and reverse the payment of room and tax on your personal credit card? If this is something you would like to do please provide us with the cardholder's name, telephone number, and email and we will begin the proccess immediately and once complete will be able to refund your credit card and issue an updated receipt. We appreciate you sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Early check in was appreciated. Room was lovely and ice with turn down service was a nice touch not offered at some other fairmont properties. Breakfast was wonderful with very friendly staff. Concierge was professional and booked a bus to Whistler. I have no complaints and would highly recommend this hotel.
