Upon arriving at the hotel we were immediately welcomed by the front of house staff. Ashton was efficient, professional and friendly throughout the check in process. The room was perfect: clean, well appointed and quiet. When we unexpectedly returned to the hotel the following evening, due to a change in on our flight departure, we were once again greeted by Ashton, who remembered us. Again the entire check in process was quick and efficient.

Great facilities in bedroom Bur bed very uncomfortable and costs of any refreshments in room or at Hotel very expensive. A free bottle of water after long journeys would be welcoming.

We always use the Fairmont Airport hotel whenever we travel from Vancouver, as it is comfortable, high end and so convenient if you have an early flight the next morning, or a late arrival into Vancouver. The rooms are modern and very quiet, you would have no idea that you are in a hotel on site of a bustling airport! Staff are friendly and welcoming and great bath products...

Usual lovely room. Delightful Indian room cleaner. Great bar and restaurant staff. Clean property. Good meeting rooms. Overall high standards. On this trip - three blights - long waits stood outside room 545 (?) both days waiting for a key to get into our meeting room. Five CEO's stood waiting for over 15 minutes one time, had to wait every time. When someone turned up, their key didn't work, either, one time. Then, compared with the usual friendly front desk crew, there was a woman with a full spray tan who I just seemed to irritate and be a nuisance to - she was quite unwelcoming. Her approach to professional just came across as cold both times I had to interact with her. And the restaurant menu is decidely hit or miss. We all decided the entrees are sparse and vary from flavorful to bland. These are the sort of things which if there was an alternative nearby we'd consider it.

It seems that everything that could go wrong during your visit did go wrong and for this I offer my profound apologies. It should not be necessary but, occasionally, we must remind our staff that we are in a highly competitive business, where good service is often the only distinguishing feature between us and our competition. Service is our business and there is no room on our staff for anyone who is unhelpful or unfriendly to guests. Please rest assured that further training will be provided to the individual you mentioned in your review. Also, may I please inquire for the name that you registered for your meeting as I would like to pass on your concerns to our Sales and Banquets team for operation improvement? Mr. T., it is my feeling that when we fail to meet your expectations, some form of compensation is in order. I have removed all dining charges from your recent stay so you should see a refund of $110 on the credit card ending with 2613. I hope that this will, in some way, make up for your inconvenience, as well as demonstrate our sincerity and interest in you as our valued guest. Again, I certainly appreciate you taking the time to inform me of the inadequacies you experienced during your stay and I look forward to hearing from you. After spending two very stressful weeks with my parents my husband and I were so excited to have booked a stay. All the amenities were first class, the staff were incredible and our room service was delicious. Breakfast was awesome and we were very happy. A bonus was the property kept a bicycle and a suitcase of my husband's while we were away in Hakai Pass as we had to take several float planes an could not take a lot of luggage. First class cannot say enough how I loved this stay.

Only one night for a large group and the staff was accommodating to help us get cabs secured and helped us in our early 4:30AM departure. We actually ordered room service which was quick and perfectly delivered!

This was our first time in Canada on a road trip from Southern California and we couldn’t believe how nice and helpful the operator was when we called to book a room. She went out of her way to book it for us, patiently helping us with our third party booking price. Outstanding location for airport and transportation. The room was super clean and updated.
