« Over promised - under delivered! »

1) When booking the reservation by phone I was told that someone would be available to pick up my family with a golf cart because I was arriving at 12:30am with two kids age 5. When I called the front desk the day of my arrival I was told by the clerk that they wouldn't accommodate and we could walk. 2) By the time we made it to the front desk it was 1:00am and the clerk put us in a room right beside the elevator which i thought lacked any consideration for us. Being a late check-in the last thing i wanted to wake to is the constant noise of the elevator and the traffic it drew. 3) We checked in with 4 individuals and there was only 3 bath towels. In summary, C'mon - I thought hospitality staff are trained better than this.

« It was the perfect place to stay after a 13 hour flight from TAIWAN. »

I was very happy to arrive here. The lounge has a beautiful musician and we enjoyed the hot tub and work out facility. The room was beautiful and the bed was amazing comfortable. Perfect convienence after such a long flight and with an early am flight back to Montana the next am.

« Our sleep was amazing but the lounge could have been better. »

The room was clean and comfortable. The tub is amazing! Quiet too! We had an abrupt end in the lounge which was very pricey. I even heard a customer being refused a glass of water because last call was over.

As we were flying out early the following morning, we left our luggage in secure storage with the concierge, who was very obliging, and our pickup in the morning was seamless. Reception were again, warm and welcoming, and efficient.

I called a day ahead to confirm baby crib would be in the room. When we arrived it was not there so I called down to the front desk. I waited 30min and had to call again to request the baby crib. Very disappointing to receive such bad service. I was traveling alone with my infant daughter and thought that staying at the fairmont and requesting the crib ahead of time would make our trip easily but it was the complete opposite.

Got in late with two young kids. Lovely & fast check in process...fast delivery of bags. comfortable and very clean room. Ordered late food because we hadn't eaten - order came wrong. We called the restaurant about the incorrect order and they apologized but no offer to comp, remake or discount the food bill. It was so late and we were so tired we didn't want to make a fuss so those without allergies ate what we could.

wonderful service after a long day of travel. Exceptional attention to our toddler who was tired. There initially was no cot put int he room as we had requested however this was quickly rectified. We paid for a bed and breakfast package but I had to leave before breakfast was served, so the staff were very helpful in coordinating a room service breakfast that was waiting for me at the front desk as i left the hotel at 6am. I felt SO WELL cared for!

Stayed here out of necessity as I wasnt well and had an overnight layout. It was for me an over-the-top extravagance as Im on a fixed disability pension. Yet, I don't regret it for the convenience of not having to go out into the cold and snow when not feeling well and exhausted from traveling. However, it was eye opening to me that even though you pay one of the highest price points in the city, it doesn't mean you're going to get a good sleep! In fact I was woken not once, but three times by neighbors above and then beside me. I could literally hear conversations, and then what sounded like someone dropping a hairdryer on the marble upstairs. So yes the marble is pretty and makes it look high-end, but as soon as anyone drops anything on it or opens the sliding louvered doors with too much force, you will hear it! I called down for assistance and someone came up with earplugs, but I was still woken out of a deep sleep two more times. I went through the whole rigamaroll again with neighbors beside me an hour later. Then the airport traffic started at 6 a.m. The planes are expected but the loading bay back up *beep-beep-beep* for a solid hour I wasnt at all. Why would you call this the quiet side of the hotel? So even though I intentionally booked as high as possible and on the agents suggestion of the *quiet side* (with an extra cost to be higher btw), I still had a pretty bad night. The staff on the other hand were fantastic and I thank you for that. But it didnt make up for the interrupted sleep, frustration and exhaustion I had all night and the whole next day travelling home. A big kudos for your shuttle driver who was patient with me being so frustrated and panicked ( I was told I was late for my gate call on the other side of the terminal ) thanks for that.

The only pleasant person was our repair technician. Can't say I'd stay again unless I had a reuiredc layover. But you people know that... don't ya? $300.00+ per night for garbage service and a cold room. Shame on me.
