good overall but the trip back from boundaries sport bar took over 35 minutes to arrive , in spite of the hostess/waitess calling for the shuttle. If your service is that bad you should have a well marked trail back to the hotel. Also we had a rainy day, and there was only one place we could get a decent lunch and that was by the pool

It's a good thing i brought one set of workout clothing (which I had to wash and reuse the entire stay), otherwise I wouldn't have been able to exercise at all. One thing I always ask is two sets of Fairmont Fit apparel each day. Almost each time I stay at this hotel, I have to ask multiple times to get even one set delivered. This time, I asked 6 times (!) before someone delivered one set to my room and this happened on the last night of my three night stay. I called houeskeeping three times (and one time was put on hold for at least 20 minutes before I hung up) and the front desk another 3 times. I go to Bermuda frequently on business and stay at either of the Fairmont properties. Working out/running is really the only way for me to unwind so this service is extremely important to me and is one of the reasons why I always pick Fairmont Hotels around the world. Normally I don't bring workout clothes with me when I stay at the Fairmont except when I visit this or the Hamilton property. I really don't understand why this program works at other hotels; it seems fairly simplistic to implement. This is an issue that I have encountered for the past number of years although it has never been as bad as this particular experience.

Great amenities but the quality of the room was beyond disappointing.

This is the second time my husband I stayed at the Fairmont Southampton. In our most recent visit, we chose the Fairmont over other hotels in Bermuda because our first experience was so amazing. The amenities and staff at the hotel were amazing. From the food to the service to the experience, the Fairmont Southampton is unrivaled. We love the private beach and the Cabana Bar (Sabina the server is our FAVORITE!!!) and dinners on the property were divine. Sadly, my husband and I were so disappointed with the room. So disappointed in fact, that it really overshadowed the things we love most. During our stay, our air conditioning ran continuously, however it never cooled the room- instead the moisture was so present that our clothes and sheets were constantly damp or wet- never dry. By the end of our five days I literally could not breath because of the air conditioning/humidity that was present. And I realized as I looked at the wallpaper that there were obvious mold spots through out the room. When we would turn off the air conditioner, it was just wet and humid. No matter what we did the room was beyond uncomfortable. And seeing the mold was disheartening. We also had issues with noise from the room above. I called the front desk one evening to ask if someone could let the room know they were being to loud and the front desk person said, "You'll have to ask the manager to do that," and transferred me to a line where no one picked up. Again, the amenities and the staff are fantastic. There are so many things that I love about your property, but I was so sad that the room we spent much time and much money on was a huge disappointment. On our next return trip, I don't know that we will pick Fairmont Southampton again.

The bed alone was a deal breaker. The sheets were like paper...the most uncomfortable i have ever slept on. I was shocked. Even asked the front desk if there were other options. The room was not good with the noise. Was woken up several times from outside noise. The TV didn’t work and they were unable to fix the signal. However, the staff was top notch. Professional and so friendly.

Gold level was very nice for breakfast, staff was excellent, waits were never too bad for beach shuttle. Food was ok, rooms were clean (a little musty smelling). Each grill was better on previous trips both in terms of how long food took and how tasty it was

My stay was extremely pleasant , most of your staff at both the concierge desk and the check-in desk were delightful, everyone had a smile except for one person by the name of Vicky I don’t think she enjoys her employment. I will tell you that the only drawback to staying in your facility is the musty odor and the mold that I found in the room. I know this is probably something that you cannot help because of your geographical location. I found it fascinating that that musty odor was not present in the lobby or the dining room but only in the room it may be because of the air conditioning.

We came to this hotel in a large group for a special birthday. The hotel has old charm to it with a large wooden staircase and large lobby that struck me right away. The pool is great with lots of sitting, there are many restaurants to chose from on site, and boutiques for shopping. The staff are kind and always in a good mood too. Overall experience was lovely! There may be some updating (renovations) needed soon to the hotel to keep it fresh.

We have stayed here 3 times now, and have had a consistent high quality experience. Some rooms are in need of a refresh, and the game room was totally run down (even us adults like to enjoy table tennis or billiards once in a while) with broken or missing equipment.

Terrible greeting from day one, terrible service until something was mentioned to management, Food was terrible for breakfast, Jasmine bar was the only good place for food. Hotel needs major upgrades and a renovation. Room smelled musty and housekeeping had to be notified multiple times. Pool service was terrible as staff was not attentive to accommodating guests with chairs/towels/umbrellas/drinks/food.
