It was amazing! Best resort I have stayed at in a long time. I did think the breakfast was a little overpriced but other than that everything else was wonderful.

My stay was really great. The room was excellent, as was the food. We spent the Wednesday afternoon at the Sunset pool. Tristan, our server, went way out of his way to take care of us. There is a guy who knows customer service !

Disappointed with the food

The grounds and casita were great, but I was disappointed with the food at two of their restaurants and with the food from room service. I could not even eat the "chicken alfredo" as it was so dry I could hardly swallow it. I couldn't even taste any alfredo sauce.

We arrived on Saturday around 10:30 am and were delighted that we were allowed to check in early. It was not clear to us when we arrived and parked that we were to go into the ballroom area to register. So, we walked over to the lobby to check in and then had to walk back to get our bags as the bellman had taken them when we asked where to park. We have a great experience at the spa and then spent some time at the main pool. We enjoyed the fireworks in the evening, although it wasn't clear where we were to be in order to see them, so we asked and were directed back toward the pool. Breakfast was nice, although quite pricey. It would be nice if a person could order off the menu and not feel like you are being charged the same amount as the buffet.

Great Resort & Spa. Overpriced Restaurant/Food Options.

We enjoyed staying at the resort over the Labor Day weekend and although the resort was at capacity there was enough space to roam about and enjoy the grounds. Noting we did spend our pool time at the adult only pool which was a great choice for us considering we wanted to enjoy calmer adult time. The non adult-only pools looked like fun too but were expectedly flooded with families so we opted out of those. The resort staff/concierge/bell man/valet service were all WONDERFUL! Everyone was always willing to help with a smile and greeted us with each passing. We were not impressed with the dining prices for the service/offerings. Keep in mind, we are used to dining at high end restaurants for special occasions so we don't mind a hefty bill for food and service that are up to par. But, we found the service at Bourbon Steak, for example, was not as we expected (when compared to Dominick's - our fave - or Mastro's). Don’t get me wrong – everyone was friendly, but our initial impressions of the level of service made us believe the expected $300 cost of our meal would leave us disappointed, so we opted to try another food option on the grounds. We enjoyed our time at La Hacienda, but opted to dine at the bar. Again, a bit overpriced for what was received. On our last night at the resort we dined at Toro. The service was excellent, but the food here too was not up to our standards for the price. We ordered the shared sampler meat platter which was good, but not aligned with an $80 price point. The pork belly mac and cheese wasn’t a standout side like we were hoping. The dulce de leche crepes were not very good and were a bit hard for the traditional texture of crepes. We did enjoy the salted caramel gelato, however – that was the best part of dessert. $17 per cocktail and $10-ish per beer was also a hefty price considering each of us would enjoy several throughout the day/evening. Room service was also pricey. Although we weren't all that pleased with the dining, we do look forward to staying here again.

Enjoyed our stay. Valet/self park/bell desk area was a bit confusing. The princess pool was closed for some of the time which was a bummer. Sunset Beach and Sonoran Splash pools were a lot of fun. Could always use a bit more shade. Tristan was excellent the 3 days he helped us, hire more people like him!

Mr. Stuart Dimini , Rooms Manager upgraded us as we are Accor Members and love staying with Fairmont Gold. Earlier during the week we are very busy with Conference meetings and wanted to go to stay at a resort where we just wanted to relax and have some quiet time; swimming reading etc., Mr. Stuart Dimini understood the importance of our relaxation short long weekend stay and have us the best accommodation and Mr. Tom Logan, Asst. Fairmont Gold Manager was very good in providing us the best hospitality and great service in the Fairmont Gold Lounge. We will definitely be repeat guests at this resort again because of these two great Managers.

Well first we were given the handicap room and we care not handicap. The bathroom was not very clean. When i originally made the reservation, it was mentioned that all the rooms had a soaking tub. When I asked the person at the front desk they said that their rooms no longer had soaking tubs. Okay I understood that, not a problem. However I feel a solution should have been offered. Also some decided to start construction or cleaning at 7am... come on! Ohhh also bathroom had crickets coming out of the drain. The grounds however were beautiful. Enjoyed walking around the area quite alot. The La Hacienda was also quite yummy. The cocktails were amazing there though. Only saving grace was the restaurant and grounds.

Have stayed at The Fairmont Princess several times and this is probably my worst experience. It was extremely crowded and service was not nearly as good as usual. I left my room early in the morning and was gone for the entire day. When I returned at 5:25pm my room still had not been serviced. They showed up at 5:45 pm. Front desk and service desk employees were not very friendly. Only positive was the valet service. They were great.

Everything was perfect. My wife and I upgraded our room upon arrival and really enjoyed all the amenities of the hotel. The pools were great. It was nice to have a separate adults only pool since we were traveling without our little ones. At the end of our stay there was a hiccup with our bags but the bell services were very accomodating and handled the situation satisfactorily.

We could hear everything from the room next door even quiet conversation. The outside movie was beyond too loud even in our room with the doors closed. Room service was so super amazing!!
