« Great hospitality »

The hospitality was exceptional. The food was wonderful and the hotel grounds were fantastic but the hotel room was rundown- broken items- dirty walls and just felt very outdated. I’m a loyal member but I don’t think I’ll stay at this location again.

It was okay. My shower was dirty when I checked in (hair stuck to wall) and I never had hot water in the AMs (although PM was okay). The cleaning staff did a good job during the stay, though. (although the little toilet paper sticker is kinda weird. And it means I have to waste a square of TP :D The lack of "quick meal" options was disappointing, as was the lack of a place to grab a six pack or bottle of wine and head back to the room. When I am travelling for work, sometimes all I want to do is to get take-out from the bar or a sandwich and beer from a mini-mart type concession and take it back to my room and work. I asked if there were take out options available at the restaurants, and everyone looked at me like I had two heads. Also, I don't think the ventilation worked in my room--I turned the AC/heat down to 58 at night, and while the blower made noise, it was absolutely STIFLING in there. The temp never really changed, no matter how high or low I set the thermostat, so I mostly just modulated it by opening the doors to the balcony.

« Average. »

It was OK. Used a hotel bike, got a flat. called hotel didn't help. walked it back a couple miles. No big deal....response upon return was ok at best. Had a problem with my tux that was delivered for a big group event. Asked about how I get help with alterations. was pointed to a taxi or Uber to fix it. little more help on this would have been nice. knowing I'm here with a business group and knowing I probably don't have a car. In the online registration I asked for a room with a view of the main pool. that didn't happen either. When I checked out I didn't have my breakfast on my room bill. front desk said they would send it to me. haven't seen it yet. I don't want this rant to viewed as complaining. Please view this as feedback on your business to get better. I look forward to coming back and seeing how you've improved.

Underwhelming and disappointing. The service was inconsistent, at best, and poor on a few occasions. the room was average at best. Housekeeping was below average. Overall value was poor.

Your bell staff, front staff, desk and concierge staff is amazing. Wonderful service. I was disappointed to not be able to get a definitive answer if the bath/shower products are gluten fee or not. Your room service menu is great! We both were sick after eating at La Hacienda, but my guest was sick from gluten. This is her second time at the property in three years being sick from gluten. The hotel handled it very well. She was impressed with the follow up and greatly appreciated the meal being taken off her credit card and their offer of a free night for her. She lost three days of work.

« Room 1086 - what is this weird setup »

Weird room. Murphy bed is a double, not even a queen size bed. Room is spacious but with a unique layout. You literally had to walk down a 360 degree hallway to access the bathroom. The tub was equally weird. Suggestion...please update the bathrooms, especially the showers.

If I can recommend something to assist with better customer service it would be to put a regular refrigerator for hotel guest other than the bar filled frig. I bought my own drinks that I like and had no where to put the other than the 1950's melted ice bucket. Other than that and a small tweak needed on the A/C my overall experience was a great one. Keep up the great customer service and always update to rise above the rest.

I have stayed at this resort in the past and was thoroughly impressed. This time, they seemed understaffed and unprepared. Whether it was waiting to be served at a table in the bar AND restaurant, or for room service that took an hour and a half for chips and guacamole; I was frustrated. Additionally, the walls in my room room were so thin that I could hear every word that my neighbors were saying when they stayed up all night to visit. They weren't rowdy or excessively loud, they were just awake. I know this because when security came to ask them to quiet down, I heard every word they said as well. Also, drawers opening and cupboards closing. And while, the last gentleman I spoke with was nice and took measure to make it right; the staff that I had to speak with prior to him was short, rude, and did not listen to me. Additionally, EVERY operator or front desk person I ever spoke on the phone with, transferred me while I was mid-sentence. On a positive note, when dealing with the staff in person, they were very friendly. The bellmen, the maids, the servers, all were extremely nice. The room was fine and I LOVED that I had workout clothes delivered- I had forgotten that this would happen so I was delighted to see it!
