Accommodations super - - the room last year not quite as good! Love the Fig - - had breakfast there three of four days - special! Thanks for all the help in the lobby and getting help as getting a cab / etc.

« Nice Hotel, but crap service »

My platinum membership didn’t impress anybody, only if you show up with an expensive car, you are treated as a good customer. Also using the points for such a hotel was a really bad idea. I European standards this hotel is maximum 3 stars!

« A nice stay but a few hiccups »

Lovely experience. The hotel and staff were perfect. There were some delays when checking in which was a bit tough as we booked through AMEX and were garanteed 1PM check in. Weren't able to get to our room for a few hours. It was fine because I was able to work from the lobby but was traveling with a small child which can make logistics tricky.

It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Fig tree all decorated. Lost of bustle in the hotel. Comfortable room and a great home base for exploring! It was a birthday trip for my wife and it really couldn't have gone better.

« Hotel staff provided excellent and attentive service with one exception. »

Very satisfied other that the problem with our reservation that was inputted as 3 separate reservations and I asked numerous employees to fix the problem. The resulting hassles included our room keys stopped working twice and I still have not received one statement of the whole stay which I asked be emailed to me at our checkout. Please provide a statement that includes all charges for 6 night stay

I’m a Fairmont fan and have stayed at many locations, including a previous stay at this location. This was the worst experience.

« front desk issue »

i have stayed at the Fairmont four times in the last four months. I am dissatisfied with the front desk handling of my bill and unprofessional way I was treated by Lauren and her supervisor Sergio. I asked to use my accord points and first Lauren said dismissively that i can use them. I told her that i was told that I could. She then spoke to Sergio right in front of me and both of them talked about me while i was standing at the front desk like I wasn't there. Lauren then said the points would be applied to my account. They never were.

From my first interaction with Jermaine I knew we were in for a treat. The service received from Jermaine & staff was outstanding. I have stayed in my fair shareof "exclusive" hotels but this is the exception! Service was outstanding the room immaculate. I wouldn't stay at any other hotel when in the area....it is a MUST!

« Excellent, perfect location, amazing views! »

4 nights in a premier ocean front and the views surpassed our hopes and expectations. We had come for my husbands 60th and there was a beautiful note, dessert and water left upon check in, nice touch! No noise from the bar downstairs even though it was very busy, but we were on the 8th floor so that was perfect!
