I tried your reward program for the first time, I heard you get better deals than dealing with a 3rd party such as Hotels.com etc. So I called to see if there was any specials, to my surprise there was I got a great deal for a Junior Suite. Once I arrived at the hotel Alfonzo checked me in, he suggested for a little more than $200 I would enjoy the Royal Suite a lot better (awesome sales pitch Alfonzo) I was sold. I was there celebrating my other half’s birthday and of course I want nothing but the best, once we entered our room I knew right away I made the right choice with a perfect view of Alcatraz outside our window (Amazing). On our way down for dinner we went to meet our friends and ride outside, to my surprise Alfonzo opened the door for us and held it open and said “I hope you like your upgrade Mr. M.” that there sealed the deal, I asked for his name and told him I would write a nice review on him, therefore I hope he gets recognized for upselling and having that personal touch that makes a guest not feel like another number checking in, he made a personal connection and made me/us feel special and more than a guest 5 STARS!!! I will return and never go back to using a 3rd party to book another room. Thank you, and look forward to staying at your other venues. Best experience ever!!!

I was very impressed by the gym. Too bad there is no steam room or other spa-like amenities available. I got lost a couple times on my first day with you, trying to go from the Tower to the gym as well as finding some conference room. It would be great if coffee is more easily available. A decent amount of hotels now have a (free) coffee/water bar in the lobby.

The location is the hotel is good. The room was nice, comfortable, clean, quiet, and sunny. Bathroom with window, coffee and tea free. The only problem is the elevator, I had to wait sometimes 5 minutes for it.

During a very busy week of leadership team meetings, Sophia Chow and the rest of the team were absolutely outstanding with all of the last minute changes and other needs to make this a successful offsite meeting event. Very expensive breakfast ,not at tall worth the money cold plates and basic food items,room 456 takes 20 min to fill ,shower very poor running,had a nice meal in the Tonga room

I was attending Looker's Sales Kick Off event. I found the hotel to be clean and classy. My room was great, with a beautiful view of Alcatraz and Coit Tower. The only thing keeping me from rating a 10 above was the food. Some of the meals were good. Most were average. The dinner on Wednesday night was sub-par, especially the portions: there wasn't enough food for everyone at our table. We were all still hungry.

-Overall, nice hotel -No hair conditioner in the bathrooms, which even 3-star hotels tend to have -Slow elevators...it's faster to take the stairs -The toilets are oddly placed in their own mini-room with no door and no lights

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The concierge (Steve) was amazing, nothing was a bother for him and he went above and beyond to meet our needs. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. We were offered an upgrade on check in at a very reasonable price which we accepted and it was well worth it. The only thing I thought strange was that our friends who checked in with us and had the same room type as us at the same price received a welcome platter with drinks, cakes and biscuits and we did not. They also had robes in their room and we did not. A beautiful property to stay at with very comfortable beds and pillows.

Service was excellent from our meeting coordinator, Sophia Chow, Banquet Managers Johnny, Alex and Kaitlin to AV support Ken, Alli and numerous other team members, Habibi from the florist, Mary Anne from the gift shop, the servers at Laurel Court. Celebrated our 46th Anniversary. We have spent many anniversaries at the Fairmont, San Francisco. Fabulous room and view, even with rain clouds. Thank you for the bottle of Champagne, greatly appreciated. We celebrated with some friends also in our room before going out to dinner. We had asked for some dinner plates, dessert size plates, glasses, napkins. We were short a couple of plates and only received a few paper napkins, I called for those shorted items, they were never delivered (asked twice). There was not a hair dryer in the room. You might want to take a look at the couch, (hide-a-bed) it squeaks the full length and not so quiet. We will return as the Fairmont is so unique and beautiful. But I feel for the price we paid, there should not be any issues. Thank you

From the moment we pulled up to the valet I knew I made the right choice. The look and prestige of the building on the outside was breath taking. Then walking into the grand lobby was also awesome. Check in was very easy and quick. We got a room upon check in and not at 4 which I was worried about. The room had an amazing view and the room itself felt very Royal. It was the first getaway with my new girlfriend and couldn’t have hit a better home run than with this room. Room service was also exceptional and served very promptly.
