It was a great experience from the moment we stopped at the guard gate to the hotel check-in. I had a wonderful dinner at the Addison hands and enjoyable walk in the morning but we stayed stopped at the Pro shop to talk about the renovations on the 18th hole

It is always wonderful to stay here. Rooms are beautiful, love the Nespresso machines and the small balconies. Staff is outstanding and very welcoming. Food is amazing and the service in the restaurant very attentive. Will return over and over again.

Service is consistently friendly, professional, respectful, & attentive. That includes spa, Amaya, and the hotel. It is always a pleasure to visit. The pastries were amazing, white chocolate-covered Oreos at turn-down were scrumptious, and I appreciated the birthday Prosecco.

We went to stay at Fairmont Grand Del Mar to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff who greeted us was very sweet and helpful. She kindly introduced our children to the toy treasure chest and allowed them to get more than one piece of toys each. The property was beautiful and peaceful. We were able to have a good time at the pool and dinner. On Saturday we also toured the kids club which was amazing. We wanted to drop kids off for a bit on Sunday but only found out Sunday operations are appointment based only. I tried to ask for late checkout in the morning as we wanted to tour the hotel a little more. The lady at the reception was somewhat nervous and not very friendly. Later my husband called again and the manager was very kind to extend our stay for a few hours. In general it was still a nice experience.

« Simply put, The Fairmont Grand del Mar is my favoutite hotel of all I ahve stayed at across the world. »

I won't name everyone by name but from being greeted at the door, the valets, concierge, bar staff, every staff member you meet in a corridor, c'ent anni, spa, admin and sales personnel......ALL make you feel part of the "family" and special. All of them.

The GM, Abukar made our stay extraordinary, as usual. We are repeat customers since previous owner, Mr. Manchester days and come down from LA at least 3x per year to stay at the Grand. We are loyal patrons of the hotel for the stellar service, food and grounds. We never leave property, know your staff well like Sonia and Jose in room service and Brigitte in the spa. Everyone goes out of their way to make our daughter feel special. The Grand Resort is the only hotel we prefer. Superb!
