Great stay, great staff but unorganized when the power when out

See above. Food, Room. Facilities and Staff were awesome. Fire Alarm: We were in Room 250, with very poor signage for stairs. There were about 30 people outside with a baby at 5 am in the am. 30 minutes in, we decided to walk to the front of the building. We were told of a power outage in North San Diego, not hotel's fault. We were told no worries but no one walked the facilities to talk the the 30 people in the cold that everything was fine. 5 minutes in many were told in the lobby to go back to bed. What if this was a real emergency? Go to room 250 and and see if you see stair sighs.
