staff were exceptional. Also, hotel was extremely clean. Rooms were very well appointed and beds comfortable. I did not get enough time to fully experience all the hotel had to offer. Meetings I attended were comfortable and staff did a good job handling break-outs and meals associated with the events. The only negative is the acoustics in the large hall are not that great.

Condescending reception and concierge, but great spa services personnel. Did not get credit for 1-night stay on Predident’s Club membership and final billing was inexplicably delayed.

« Overall experience was very good. WiFi was very poor / slow for a luxury resort and business services were limited. »

Accommodations, property condition, guest rooms and facilities were excellent. Food was average. (see above for comment on WiFi). Staff were very helpful. Eric from the Pro Shop actually came out in the dark to find me on the cart path (I was lost) and bring me back to the hotel.

We are working with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage to improve our menu choices. There have been issues with our signal and we are currently in the process of improving it so guests will have better Wi-Fi connection. « Great stay, beautiful property, wonderful staff, food could use an upgrade »

We have hosted an event with the Fairmont Grand Del Mar for the past 4 years. Everything is usually consistent - the property is gorgeous, the staff is wonderful, the rooms are beautiful, etc. However, this time I would have to say that the food was not as good as previous years. The food in Amaya, room service and catering seems to have changed and it just isn't as good as it used to be. A special shout out to Sue Goodman who is always so accommodating, thorough, responsive, and really great to work with! Drew Seger and Tyla Villanos are always great to work with as well.
