The hotel advertised a series of events over Mother's Day Weekend. My family and I were looking forward to the Friday night event which included poolside BBQ, outside movie, s'mores and fireworks. We even rearranged out plans for the weekend so that we would be back at the hotel on Friday night in time for the activities. On the morning of the event, the hotel cancelled the event because of "bad weather". The forecast we saw only listed that day's weather as cloudy. That evening, when the weather was great, we asked if the hotel was reconsidering their decision to cancel the event and were told no, it was still cancelled. We were very disappointed. Our stay was very expensive, and we would have liked the hotel to follow through with the plans they advertised.

The service was outstanding, as usual. The staff throughout the resort are very friendly and helpful. The resort and rooms are beautiful. The only disappointment was the food at Amaya and at the Golf Clubhouse Grill. The food quality was average, at best, and the menu choices were limited and boring. It is a shame if you have to leave the resort to have a good meal. In regards to food, Addison is still awesome!

It was a wonderful stay, staff is very attentive, My only small detail complaint is the turn down service, the 1st night we had 2 chocolates on each pillow the following 3 nights only one?? We found that a bit funny and odd. Also one robe got dirty and was thrown into the tub but was not replaced, we had to call to get another one, lastly the shower gel also was not replaced we had to call. Minor things but it’s the detail that gives Fairmount its great reputation Overall it was amazing. We loved it

From arrival to departure, a beautiful place to visit and stay, gracious staff and hosts, incredible facilities and dining, and hard to leave. Last weekend was a quick 2-day break from impossible work schedules, and a perfect prescription for that condition. We enjoyed the Spa, Lounge, Suite, Room Service and Amaya for dinner. Superlatives all apply.

always great, the staff is amazing. I've been a guest of your hotel from the opening day to just last weekend. the most noticeable decline overall is that the rooms look like they need some mending and updates, for example, in the bathroom, I pulled on a faux draw and the facade came off and it looks dated overall and the quality of food overall has gone south, example, I ordered room service and the eggs where dry as well as the following morning at breakfast, the eggs where dry and the quality of the ham wasn't worth what the hotel is charging and the main bar looks like your cutting back on decor, didn't have the same rich feel as before, the bar menu seems limited and the your best item, lobster tacos has been removed and before that, when i did ordered the tacos, the lobster wasn't fresh, it tasted fishy:/

We stay in only five star resorts from the Waldorf, to the Four Seasons. we were there on a mix of business and pleasure with our four children. We loved our experience so much we are excited to come back again. from the moment we were greeted at the gate by Jim (I believe was his name he would have been working the evening of April 27th) he was amazing and made us feel welcome. to the reception at the front doors. the staff was amazing the entire time we were there. they remembered our names, our drink preference, etc. I honestly cant say enough. the six of us rated our hotels in order and 3 of us put the Fairmont Grand Del Mar as number one and 3 of us as number two only behind the Four Seasons Orlando because of the pools. We left the Fairmont and drove to the Waldorf Beverly Hills and from the time we checked in we wished we were back at your property. thank you for making our trip an absolute pleasure. Beautiful property that we very much enjoyed! The room was very pretty and spacious and the staff was adorable be it Edgar in the morning who brought sweets to our daughter or the girls at the front desk. The only negative point to highlight is that the outdoor pools could have been a bit warmer.

Service and hotel were great!! Every made us feel welcomed and taken care of. I will only stay at this resort whenever returning to San Diego. If I have one complaint it is that the decor is the room is very dated. I know it’s a specific look your going for but non the less is is dated. Besides that everything at the hotel, food, pool, service, valet, were all great!
