Beautiful resort, incredibly friendly staff, great location close to downtown playa. Most of the food we had was excellent, but I wish there were a few more options on property with a little more diversity.

« Great property to enjoy! »

Our visit to Fairmont Mayakoba was 99% great! The hotel arranged for pick up from the airport and the driver was waiting at the baggage pick up area for us. The ride to the hotel and arrival at the property was awesome! Our room was great! The spa and restaurants were also great! Only two problems. Both my wife and I got severe stomach problems on our last day and they continued for about a week. But, the bigger issue was at check out we wanted to divide the stay on to two cards. The lady was nice and trying to be helpful but she double charged one card and ended up taking quite a few emails and calls to our credit card company and the hotel. Gabriela at the hotel concierge was very helpful and I would not hesitate to give her very high recommendations.

Very beautiful resort that keeps in mind its surrounding nature. The service couldn't be any better- everyone is so kind and helpful. Always greeting you, very genuine, they just go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Appreciate all the activities included in the resort. Long bike rides surrounded by trees, the beautiful beach with water activities, and the boat ride. The boat ride was so peaceful and beautiful.

The food was terrible: Only local Mexican food, no choice of restaurants/ food venues. The only thing I could eat was the chicken soup from the In-Room Service Menu, and the Hamburger. Even the breakfast was not very good.

Fantastic! There was never a time I waited for anything I needed, the staff were very attentive. The whole hotel was clean and facilities were great! I would like to highlight that I misplaced my computer cord after the ILTM conference finished and the security / housekeeping staff together put in a huge effort to find it...and they did! I was extremely grateful for the effort and for returning it to me!

My stay at Fairmont Mayakoba was perfect from beginning to the end. The staff went well above and beyond at any given opportunity. They were always there when needed and seem to communicate their guests needs and preferences extremely well which ensure a very smooth experience. The room itself was very large which a beautiful terrace and plunge pool. Housekeeping was incredible and left handwritten notes twice a day which made me look forward to coming back to my room. Food and beverages were at highest standards and all meals consumed were wonderful.
