My friends and I met there for our 35th residency reunion. Andy’s Bar was a great meeting place. The location was terrific because we could walk everywhere including AGH and pnc park and Andy Warhol museum. At least five us stayed the Fairmont and stayed up late catching up

It was less comfortable and hospitable than my stays in prior years in Pittsburgh. The service and attention was sub-standard.

I travel to Pittsburgh once a year for work and stay at the Fairmont. I checked in Sunday night and it was no different than staying at the Courtyard. Despite my platinum status, there was no water bottles in the room but they did leave me a fruit plate. When i Called the front desk about whether there were any bottles of water, I was told I could fill up a carafe in my room if i walked down the hall at a station with filtered water. Further, there were no apples at reception and the newspapers were hidden and not even offered to me daily. The service and attention has deteriorated significantly in the past year and I will reevaluate my future travel plans even though I have several stays booked for various Fairmont Hotels in the next 4 months,

Your front desk people were so friendly I looked forward to walking by them. My only minor complaint was the fact internet was an extra expense. I was told afterwards that I could join a program that would provide that but it always astounds me when I stay at what I would consider a high end hotel (yours included in this) I pay for internet while at a Days Inn level hotel the internet is almost always included.

I have absolutely no complaints about our experience at the Fairmont hotel. The room was immaculate, the bathroom was extremely tidy, the toiletries smelled amazing, and the view was very impressive.

Just an average stay at the Fairmont

There was not an umbrella as I expected. I ate at Floor 2. The food was mediocre. The French onion soup was very salty. The grilled steak salad was not what I expected. The flank steak was icy cold and so was the grilled lettuce. It was very disappointing. The service was fair. It was overall disappointing. I had a much better grilled shrimp salad at City Works.

Everyone and everything was fabulous! Staff must have overheard my husband and I talking about it being our anniversary and they surprised us with roses, chocolates, and champagne. They truly made our stay perfect. Hotel was in perfect location for us to catch a hockey game and go to the Rivers Casino. Thanks again Fairmont we will definitely be back.

I appreciated attention to details of the environment and amenities. The only thing that would have been helpful is to have had the dog dishes provided in the room. I improvised with what was in the room and my room service tray. My dog is small and this still worked out. I think this would be different if I had a larger pet.

we loved the accommodation, stay and the breakfast. Disappointed with misinformation on the allowance for breakfast ( 2 separate people told me that we had a $120 allowance), however first i was billed $106 on my card after checkout, and upon calling the hotel to dispute the charge and was refunded only $64 of the $106 overcharged. (explanation was that I was only eligible for $64). Disappointed with the lack of accountability to acknowledge the mistake and do right by the customer. Even more disappointing was that the allowance was not clearly documented or stated in my booking conformation.

We had a lovely stay. It was the day after our wedding, and we wanted a special mini honeymoon experience. The Fairmont staff were courteous and helpful, and even surprised us with some special champagne and chocolates in celebration of our wedding. So lovely!
