« Good gym, bad shower. »

I enjoyed the overall experience of your hotel. Check in and check out were fast and simple. The bar on the second floor was very nice. In the room the desk and bed were nice. However, I found the shower head not very good because it was not detachable (not possible to hold it in your hand). The room was also too warm overnight which made sleep more difficult.

« Amazing service. »

The front desk team was amazing when I checked in my room was not ready. They immediately took me to the spa so I could clean up for my meeting. Justi at the spa got me in for a manicure/pedicure. My room was amazing. Great service. A fantastic team.

« Lovely hotel, but just one annoyance »

I really enjoyed the hotel. The staff was great, the room comfortable, Le Labo toiletries were a nice touch, and the hotel restaurant was great. But charging for wifi?! That feels like the domain of a really low end hotel. It really cast a call over the stay and made eager to get out and get to a new location rather than linger in the restaurant in the morning.

Positives, quick check in, location, comfort of room, staff. Negatives- rug in n the hallway is pulling up, in room dining is poor quality, the restaurant was not good.

Had usual wonderful and invigorating deep tissue massage with Shannon, dinner & drinks at FL.2 and restful night's sleep on Fairmont mattress. Deidre at FL.2 needs to be commended for her hospitality at the bar, she is a wonderful person.

« Guests should not have to make THREE calls to the front desk to get the room cleaned »

The hotel is very nice and the location is hard to beat. However...I left my room around 10:00a Saturday (at no time was the DND on my door), returned at 5:25p to find my room had not been serviced. I called the front desk to ask that it be taken care of. I went to the lobby to have a drink to give housekeeping time to make up the room. I returned at 6:30--still nothing. Called the front desk again and was told they would pull someone off turn down to service my room. I'm thinking servicing my room since it was obviously missed earlier in the day should probably take priority over turndown, but whatever. I was transferred to the Housekeeping Manager and left a message asking for an explanation, but did not get a response. After being out and about all day (including some rain) I would like to have taken a shower before dinner, but clearly that wasn't going to happen. Returned from dinner at 8:30 and guess what? The room was still not made up. I called the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. Asked for an explanation (still have not received one), but was assured the issue would be addressed. The hotel manager also offered to credit me $50, which was a nice gesture, but really for a Fairmont property, I should not have had to call once to have my room serviced. But calling three times and speaking to the hotel manager is beyond belief. A beautiful property and great location don't make up for incredibly inept service.
