« Absolutely amazing, luxurious and flawless stay, from start to finish. »

We had an outstanding first stay at the Plaza. All of the staff were amazing and attentive to our every need and want, going out of their way to care for us as house guests. The suite we were upgraded to was a wonderful surprise and truly elegant and luxurious, plush.

« Good, but not exceptional »

We were staying for a single night and had submitted all the pre-check in questionnaires indicating our preferences. We arrived as scheduled around noon and they said our room would be available shortly. We went out to explore the area and returned about 2pm where they once again said it would be available shortly. We had a drink in the lobby and waited. At 2:30, and again at 3pm we checked and were told the room wasn't ready. It was 3:30pm before the room was ready. Given check-in is 3pm, the additional wait time felt in poor taste, especially given the hotel's reputation and the exceptional service we expected. The room itself was great, the staff courteous and the rest of the stay met our expectations. The arrival process just put a slightly bitter taste in our mouths.

Our stay was everything that we wanted to be. In town for business and a French trip. The service and the staff or helpful and attentive. They only hic up I could say is that for rooms costing what they do at the plaza, and it being a Fairmont Hotel, having to pay for Wi-Fi when you’re spending $700 a night is a little ridiculous

« We love the Plaza this is the only place we stay now in NYC...the hotel is amazing and the staff wonderful! »

We always have a wonderful time when we stay at The Plaza, the rooms are amazing and the staff is incredible . They always make you feel like you are the only one in the hotel . We come to the city 3/4 times a year and The Plaza is the only hotel we will ever stay at , my mom is 83 and the hotel is in walking distance to all the wonderful places we want to visit! When I bring my kids they feel like a prince and princess, everyone needs to stay here at least once.

Sadly very underwhelming, noise disruption at 4am from event space underneath hotel despite being on 10th floor, average service at breakfast in Palm Court snd housekeeoing didn’t clean room despite the fact we were out of room from 8am to 7pm , we had to call them. Really nothing special sadly

The Plaza is unquestionably our favorite NYC hotel. The service, the rooms and the iconic feel to this historic landmark hotel are unique. Not to mention the awesome gourmet food court that makes a dad's task of finding a quick family meal a simple pleasure.

Your staff is amazing - always welcoming and willing to help. Front desk, concierge, palm court, everyone! The one issue was the cockroaches in our room. We had 2 large ones during our stay. The first one I trapped quickly and left for housekeeping. The second one came in the middle of the night (2 am). I didn't want to call for assistance and create lots of drama in our room, as my sleep is really important.

I Loved what the plaza had to offer and it certainly didn’t disappoint with the level of service / quality of accommodation on offer. The food Hall was also amazing and well priced! The criticisms would be no breakfast included / spa wasn’t not in use / and having to pay for WiFi. When paying what I did I would have expected these to all be available and included within the price. I also got a bit frustrated when complimentary champagne (to recognise the special occasion) was added to my bill. Fortunately this was subsequently removed. This gesture was well receive and went down a treat !
