« A great hotel in a great location »

I stayed at the 18th floor and had access to the VIP 21st floor - an extra great experience. The hotel is newly renovated and nice service. Walking distance to my appointments

« Great stay! »

Enjoyed the the room, restaurant and exercise area, but the lounge wasn't prepared for a post-concert rush (June 6). The hostess told us it would be a long wait for a drink because everyone was ordering cocktails - not cool but at least they were upfront and didn't waste our time. Otherwise, the stay was perfect.

« Very nice hotel. Enjoyed my stay. »

Experience was very good. Would prefer a coffee machine rather than an expresso machine in the room. Had a room with a bathtub as requested but the shower door was odd being only a half door which resulted in water on the floor. Not pleased to see that my 3 nights are not indicated in the App to go toward my member level.

« Great although pricey »

I found the room was excellent and the staff was very friendly when I was on site. I did need to call a few days later to ask for my invoice to be emailed. I was transferred 3 times and then disconnected. When I did ask if this is even something that could be done, the front desk person that answered curtly explained that she has other customers to deal with so she needs to transfer my call, do I wish to be transferred or not. A very unpleasant experience to say the least. I also found the cost of food and drink in the hotel (not the mini bar) is far to much: $5 for a small bottle of soda is absolutely crazy.

Great room thanks to upgrade and due to some disagreement about late check-out being offered for Platinum members. The restaurant was okay but unexceptional and food was cold (maybe as the meal was wrong for one guest and when both returned, rather cold. Seemed less than busy and given a table at the door. I stay at a lot of Fairmont and Accor hotels and find the QE lacking in the charm of other hotels in terms of how you feel 'welcome'.

Generally ok. The opening of the new roof top bar was a disappointment.....the servers were generally rude and kept serving their buddies while the restof us stand there like idiots waiting to be served. I was ignored at least three time by two bar staff, who served people that arrived well after me. As a Platinum member of Fairmont, I find this rude and insulting. It occurred on Thursday evening, and again on Friday evening.

Very impressed with hotel redesign. New restaurant is excellent, breakfast was truly outstanding, both food and service (our waiter Paul went above and beyond). Hotel was clean, rooms were quiet and overall was very very impressed. It is the only place I stay in Montreal!
