The bed was 100% the most comfortable. Room service was excellent. When I called for a technician to help me work out the aircon, he was there within 5 mins. Each and every staff member couldn't do enough for us.

The hotel is well kept. The rooms have been recently renovated. There are several restaurants located on the premises. The staff was cordial and helpful. I have nothing negative to say other than the room cleaning service knocked on my door too early, 9 AM, on the one morning I had a chance to sleep in. Nevertheless, they were very polite and asked when would be a good time for them to come back.

when i checked into my room i found it wasnt clean/towels thrown all over the room, bathroom dirty, i called front desk, they didnt return my call at first, the i called again and was given another room, i was assured that my key would work for the new room but it didnt, i was almost late for my business meeting. Terrible

Look , this hotel was great and 7 nights wasn’t cheap but as it was a conference it was paid for via my employment. However after a check in bungle and our credit card declined from our employment I was forced to make payment for two collegeages and my card had a pending amount of $8000. This turned out to be an error from your end and ultimately has severely impacted my holiday - I was left completely maxed out for approx 5 days on my credit card and your front staff didn’t seem to really care - although they were lovely. Although the staff were lovely they didn’t seem to realise the impact this has had on my holiday. I also stayed in two more Fairmont’s since leaving Montreal and didn’t experience the same. I would not usually reply to survey emails but I felt this time it was appropriate. Usually I would ask for compensation but given I am on route back to Australia I hardly see this as an option. Thanks Simon

I was not offered anything to drink when I arrived at the hotel on Saturday night at around 6 pm after travelling for almost 24 hours from South Africa. On two occasions when I returned to my room after lunch (after 2 pm) my room had not been serviced. I called reception on one of the days and asked for it to be attended to as a matter of urgency. When I left at 3 pm, it had not been serviced. I asked for a turndown service one night and all that I received was a bottle of water. When we checked out I had to pay $2 per item of luggage for storage while we did last minute shopping. Breakfast was not included in the room charge. This was a very different experience from my experience last year when I stayed at the Mariott Hotel in the Gold Coast Australia during the Annual IBSC Conference.
