« Nice place »

Enjoyed the stay very much. Staff was all very pleasant. I however do think that smokers should be moved away from the lower entrance to the hotel. That lower entrance is effectively the main entrance, except for during check-in and check-out and it is absurd to have to walk through a smoking section to get in and out. I also felt that the bikes could have been better maintained (but this is a criticism I have of all Fairmont hotels).

I stayed one night with my family. The size of the room was OK. However, I did not think that there were any additional value to justify the price of the room. The bed was a "queen" (I found it much smaller than other queen bed. I know hotels have different sizing standards) and it was not comfortable. The pillows were almost flat and there were holes in the sheets. For instance, I stay in a Towneplace suite this week and I feel I have more for my 195$/night than what I had for 300+ there. At that price, I would expect a wow factor. But no. Everything is paid. No coffee, no free internet (it's 2018 right? not 1999 or 2005, or even 2010.) Note that I do travel every weeks of the year and stay in hotels. Most of my stays are in Marriott or Hilton family hotels. But I got a gift certificate for a night at Fairmount this time for one night. Actually, the following night, I stayed in Tremblant at the Ermitage du lac and the suite we got there was much more comfortable...and the breakfast and Internet were included in the price...breakfast was crowded but still... $ to value ratio was much higher there.

« Fairmont Mont Tremblant provided us with an excellent two day get-away vacation. »

Our experience was excellent. This was our first stay in Mont Tremblant and despite a day of very heavy rain, we still enjoyed the amenities the hotel had to offer. A special note of thanks to our housekeeping staff who put up with us coming and going to our room throughout the day as we couldn't stay outside in the rain for too long! We had an excellent meal at Le Choux Gras. Thanks for a great stay!

« Good except for a few issues. »

We stayed for 4 nights at the Fairmont Tremblant. I usually like Fairmonts as the higher price paid typically results in better service and staff. In addition to the Hotel loosing its electricity one afternoon and the hotel generator not working, the air conditioning in our room stopped working and had to move rooms at 2:30 in the morning on another floor. The staff was fair, but not overly helpful in that we really just wanted to move ourselves in the middle of the night so we could sleep and move our clothing and other items the next day, but the staff member was a little pushy about moving everything, so our whole family had to pack up in the middle of the night. In addition, he didn't trust me that the air wasn't working initially and then wanted to try to open the window even though it wasn't cool outside and then suggested he supply a fan. Overall not the service I expected for the price paid.

We really enjoyed our stay at your hotel and loved the pool area as well as the close proximity to the village We did have one small incident at the pool where we purchased a slushie for our 7 yr old. We asked for a straw and was told Fairmont does not provide straws anymore. I told them it was unacceptable as you need a straw to drink a slushie also he is only 7. They ended up finding one and touched it with their bare hands before giving it to us. Again unacceptable but at that point I was desperate as my 7yr old who has autism was heading for a meltdown. If Fairmont is going the no plastic straw route than they have to provide alternatives like paper or stainless steel. It has to be accessible for all including those with disabilities. Something as simple as a straw can be vital to one's independance. Also, the menu at the pool has to be more affordable for your average guest. $18 for a hotdog??? Not everyone staying at your hotel has a per diem or expense account. Two nights at your hotel and time in the village was our vacation so we try to spend wisely. Thank you for listening. Tammy R.

« Disapointing »

We've been disappointed by the overall experience. We often choose Fairmont hotels for the high quality standard but this one in Tremblant is definitely inferior to others. A couple of things did not work: - Room was nice but looked really outdated (carpet, decoration, furniture) - Pool lounge chairs are low level in terms of comfort, we could expect bigger ones, like in wood with a comfortable mattress. - Most of all, the food served at the pool is a joke. We took the hamburger which comes with a meat that does not even has the color of beef meet. It was kind of grey. Seriously, there is nothing easier than making a good hamburger on a BBQ. For 18$ pre-tax and tips this was really bad. - I took a pina colada cocktail at the pool bar, which consisted in pouring a blender with ice and a ready-to-use cocktail mix, like the one we can buy at the supermarket. We could expect the person at the bar to do real cocktails with real ingredients. The taste was really bad. For 370$ a night this is seriously unacceptable. We're used to go to the Manoir St Sauveur really often where a room is 250$ a night and the overall quality is much superior. We'll go back there next time. Thanks Jeremie R.

We stayed 4 nights and were very impressed with all staff, from the helpful valet and reception staff, the lovely housekeeping staff who gave our daughters extra robes for swim cover ups and our wonderful restaurant waiter Guillaume. It really made the difference in our stay to be treated so well by all members of your team.

« Great hotel in a beautiful area. »

Staff was very helpful. After staying at several other hotels during our trip around Quebec, we were disappointed to find out that wi fi at the hotel was not free. No other hotel/bed and breakfast did that! Also, we asked to delay our departure on the day we were checking out, and they wouldn't allow it.

The stay was quite nice however in terms of accessibility to the village from the hotel , there is none . To walk around and down the steep road on a wheelchair is very dangerous , especially at night.
