I was attending a conference and arrived a day early due to flight connections. There was drilling going on the entire afternoon, which meant it was very difficult to concentrate. This went on for hours. Other than that, everything was extremely expensive. A light breakfast for 2 people came to over $70.

I would recommend staying at this hotel for the convenience and service.

The hotel and staff were great. The only problems we had were slow service two days getting our room cleaned. The last day our flight was delayed and our concierge made arrangements for our ride to airport to be changed. There was miscommunication between Beeline, concierge and doorman, and we had to take a taxi. That was perplexing. Otherwise, our stay was relaxing, the hotel and setting were amazing, and I would highly recommend the Hamilton Princess.

Overall our stay was nice. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful, the location and pool/ amenities were beautiful and loved the artwork. The hotel itself seems a bit tired in the area we stayed (wing near the infinity pool) . It would have been nice to have a vending machine or something akin in proximity to our room also. The hotel store did not stay open and getting a soft drink, etc without calling room service was impossible. We ate at each of the hotel dining options and found the 1609 to be the best mostly because of the location. Marcus had more cocktails on the menu than food choices.... not a salad to be found. Expected more fine dining with abundant fresh salads and fruits. We stopped for a coffee and muffin at crown and anchor and paid nearly $20 for a small coffee and truly a mini muffin ( maybe 2”) ... ridiculous ! Overall the food was unimpressive at all 3 locations so sought dining outside of hotel.

We really like staying there and will be back.

On two of the days there was a lot of noise, I think above us, beginning about 6am and continuing until we called to complain. sounded like maybe construction. You couldn't sleep once it started. part of the time the room next to us was occupied and you could clearly hear every word the people said. Needs to be better sound proofing between rooms. Staff was great. Room was nice. Overall we really enjoyed the stay.

Reception staff are very attentative and welcoming. Bar staff and restaurant staff are also very pleasant, accommodating and attentative except they seem to disappear when the bill is required. Also its a shame that there is no room service available after 11pm even if its is just a cheese plate or sandwich or something as there is no where else to get any food from after that time.

The Fairmont was okay, although a number of small things, not sufficient to raise complaints about in the short time I was there, left me feeling that the high room rates do not represent good value. I think my experience here probably convinced me that resort hotels aren't really my thing.

Initially, we were very disappointed with our assigned room which overlooked the back parking lot. I spoke with Mandy, a lovely young women at the reception desk, who arranged to have our room switched to a better location. Everything else about our stay at the Hamilton Princess was wonderful. Our meal at Marcus was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed eating outside on the patio with the beautiful view of the marina. The location of the hotel was a perfect distance for a short walk into town, and we enjoyed taking the shuttle to your private beach. We will definitely recommend The Hamilton Princess to our friends.

AC has a ticking sound. I asked at the desk to have this looked at and when I got back on Tuesday I put the AC on and the ticking was still there. I called the front desk at about 10pm and was told an engineer would come to address it. Nobody showed up. Ticking went again all night. I told the individual at checkout and no type of accommodation was even proposed. Horrible experience.

Celebrating our 40th anniversary but very disappointed! Doormen, front desk and concierge polite and helpful. Room very disappointing with no fan in bathroom, no privacy with bathroom door and noise of ice machine and cleaning staff slamming doors. Most disappointing was 40th anniversary meal in 1609. Ignored by waitress after meal delivered. Had to wave her down to get water refilled. Sundaes arrived melted and running down the side. Location was beautiful and convenient.

The service at the restaurants for dinner was excellent. The service at breakfast was pretty bad. We waited a long time each morning to be seated and once seated, we waited a while for anyone to come to our table. Then we were finished eating for a while before we had to ask for the bill to sign. I think this is why the wait for tables was so long. Everyone was waiting for their bills. I paid extra for a harbor view room. I even called the hotel and endured international costs in order to guarantee that we had a harbor view. She assured me that we would. We arrived to be facing the courtyard. In no way was I able to see the harbor. The room selection was advertised as "each room boasts a private balcony where you can enjoy a wonderful view of Hamilton Harbour as picturesque boats go gliding by." I couldn't see any of the ocean from our balcony. When I spoke with the front desk about it (twice), they were rude and said that that room was listed as a harbor view room. I said that it may be listed that way but it is false advertising. I'm facing the garden and I can't even see the ocean from my balcony. They refused to do anything for us. I was surprised they didn't offer us a discount or anything. I at the very least expected a refund of a $400 or so, which would have been the equivalent to the garden view room rate. I will be writing reviews regarding this and I wouldn't stay here again. The main reason that I won't be staying here again is the lack of assistance to make up for their mistake and attempt to make it right.

Travelled with my daughter for her graduation trip. Booked the Hamilton Gold room. Room was a bit disappointing- small room, not as big as in description, no couch and coffee table, just a seat and a desk. Bathroom was small with no bath tub. I didn’t pay for a sea view but we had a view of the roof of the driveway! The staff and other guests were all lovely - from the maids, door staff, staff in the club, they were invariably charming, friendly and efficient! The club facility was excellent, and reasonable value , particularly as Bermuda can be an expensive destination. Beautiful pool and public areas , and loved the beach club. Short walk from Hamilton made the hotel an excellent choice.

Very nice staff. The pools were cloudy. The beach was lovely and well attended. Too strict in enforcing the check-in and check-out times.
