Loved staying in such an interesting and varied art gallery. Wish we had known about the art tour earlier in our stay. Continental Breakfast in the Crow & Anchor was the best!

« Great stay at the Hamilton Princess »

From the moment my wife and I checked in at the Hamilton Princess to the moment we checked out the quality of service amazed us. I am a travel agent trying to get first hand experience of the island, golf courses and hotels to offer to my clients. This hotel has it all, from great views of the ocean, top notch restaurants, great service and luxurious amenities such as heated swimming pools and newly renovated rooms that will please all tiers of holiday goers. The hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk into town which we did daily. Unfortunately we did not get to go to the beach area that is reserved for the hotel as we went out of season. We will be heading back to remiss and plan to stay here again in May.

« Nice hotel, lame rooms »

The hotel grounds were nice but we were very dissatisfied with our room. The door wasn't big enough for the opening so anyone in the hallway sounded like they were in our room with us. On the other side we were on the ground floor next to a glass hallway, so people walking down the hall could see right into our room unless we kept the shades shut... use of bushes or any sort of privacy would have been appreciated.

I wanted to give the Princess a 10 rating since the majority of the staff were very gracious and accommodating. However, we ate breakfast at the hotel every morning and the service was deplorable. One morning we actually waited 30 minutes before a waiter appeared to take our order. We all got the impression that they didn't feel the need to provide customer service since they were guaranteed the 17% gratuity. Since most of the guests were serving themselves from the buffet, one can't help but wonder where the waitstaff was hiding!

It was my first time staying at the Hamilton Princess. It was a site visit for a future business meeting and happy to say I'm very pleased with the product. From the welcoming staff at the Front Desk, to the knowledgeable and professional team, I am confident our Group will have a very successful business meeting. The meeting attendees will attend with guests and I know they will enjoy the spa, fitness facilities, art collection, outdoor spaces, etc.

« Fairmont Gold exceeded expectations at all levels! »

We were there the weekend of the storm. Given the weather, the staff at the Gold lounge starting with Alex, Pia and including all the servers and wait staff were beyond amazing. We couldn't have been happier just hanging out in the lounge & hotel. We look forward to returning some time very soon. Thank you.

My stay was and the food at the restaurant (dinner (Marcus) and breakfast - on main lobby floor) was good. However the speed of service during breakfast at your main lobby floor restaurant needs to be improved.

« Met my expectations »

I always enjoy staying at the Princess - staff very nice, premises lovely and food is good. Depending on time of year the cost can be quite high and lots of added charges to room rate. Cost of diet coke is very high. I only had one issue this time which was when sitting out on terrace and reading a book I got up to put some garage away and fell on the steps. Another guest saw me and came to see if I needed help, which I did not. I banged up my elbow with lots of bruises and soreness but overall OK.

« Had a excellent stay. Staff were so warm and welcoming. »

Completely enjoyed. The only "hiccup" was a challenge getting coffee and sweetener restocked in the room. We also asked for additional face cloths and got one. Had to request it again. Staff were very friendly.

« Really disappointed I couldn't check-in until 4:30 PM- that's much too late. »

I specifically had my driver take me to the hotel around 2:00 PM, before my business meetings so I could freshen up and put on my suit, and was told I couldn't check in until 4:30 PM! I've never heard of a hotel check-in that late. This disrupted my business trip in a significant way.

Such an accommodating and service focused hotel. Loved it. Our flight was cancelled on the way out - we weren’t penalized for our first night. Our flight was then cancelled AGAIN on the way and we were given complimentary late check out. The front staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and to minimize the stress from our travel disreutoion. The rooms were extremely comfortable and loved the Le Labo toiletries.

Very good experience, great facilities and service by all staff including restaurants. Gold Lounge service was excellent. Drinks and food were a bit overpriced and food was good but bland. Having housekeeping visit the room 3 times a day is excessive and can be inconvienent. Noise from the corridor was loud at times. Overall very happy with my stay.
