They were so customer focused and helpful- everyone of your staff members at this hotel were amazing and give a whole new level of expectation for me from platinum member lounges. I am a platinum level traveler with another brand and your hotel far exceeded what I have received at brand X. THANK YOU! I'll be back!

The front desk and concierge staff was excellent however the maid service on three occasions entered the room seconds after a brief knock on the door. There was no opportunity to respond before they came walking in. The maintenance staff also, with our knocking, entered the room and it was the wrong room on his sheet. The management was informed.

We travel quite a bit for business and one can have all types of experiences, however this is one I will say was exceptional. We absolutely never send a review or comment (usually to busy and do not won't to get into the things that go wrong) But this hotel and staff deserve to read or hear about something they have earned. We are still in awe as to how we where treated. Yes we come from Chicago but this Fairmont Dalls was great. From the moment we stepped foot on the grounds the staff in all departments we encountered where so kind polite courteous helpful we can not find all the words it was shockingly good. This may sound like one of those crazy reviews but this is a true and accurate review of that staff I wish I could remember all the names they were very kind and introduce themselves however I don't have them all but again from the greeter outside the front door to the next greeter inside the door to the front desk amazing. Got to the hotel at 8 AM our room was ready. Any of the request we asked for were all met. The concierge desk had one good person after another filled with information for every question We had a late flight leaving and our meetings were through for the day we asked for an extended check out without any attitude or drama we were given an extended check out. This is a long review so I'm going to end but I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed the staff at this hotel. And of course the hotel itself. PS I really don't know how you found that many good people to work in one place. Thank you for a great stay.

« Good Experience, Great Location »

It was a good experience and very close to where we needed to be for an event so overall we enjoyed it and stay there again. The experience would have been great if the water pressure in the shower was A LOT better, and if the pool water was not set at an extremely cold temperature as we were not able to enjoy it after a long day's work to relax. Other than that the service was great, the lemonade and treats at the door were very much appreciated, and rooms were nice and clean. THank you!

Once again, good service from the staff overall, gold lounge staff was very good again. Unfortunate that the lobby bar/lounge was closed for construction, and the makeshift bar in the pyramid was pretty tiny. No longer a cappuccino machine in the gold lounge - only regular coffee brewed up there, so that's quite a downgrade, and should be re-thought by management, as should the switch to the "bump it and you'll pay" system now being utilized in the guest room mini-bars. That's not very customer friendly. No NFL network on the television is a small downgrade too. So, the staff was once again great, but some management decisions have dropped the usual top score a couple of notches.

communication from your staff on how to obtain transportation from the Airport to the Hotel was very poor - resulting in my wasting over an hour waiting for a shuttle that I needed to book a reservation for but never received the instructions. You did not have the availability I needed so I had to commute from another hotel to your location for my event ( for several days) You agreed to late checkout but I received a notice via receipt that late checkout would not be possible...this is after I received verbal confirmation that late check out would be fine.

« Fabulous hotel stay »

We stated at the Dallas Fairmont many years ago and remember it for being a great hotel, but our recent stay was just fabulous. It looks newly renovated, but the room was large, plush, the most comfortable bed in any hotel where we have stayed. The A/C worked great. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We will return.

The only thing that was both annoying and odd was that you did not have an ice bucket in your room. They have ice machines but nothing to fill up with ice. That was really kind of ridiculous at a place this nice.

« Alligator in the tub »

3 day stay in dallas to scout out hotels to use for our company expansion to dallas. Day two sofa bed would not retract keeping me from having meetings in my suite for the morning. I was moved to another comparable suite. Day two I missed again morning appointments because of found baby alligator in the tub. It took over 2.5 hours for any response from staff and I had to ultimately pick the thing up and flush it so I could shower. Two days of morning appts were lost. Minimal response from management Measly one day credit given. No way up to par. Wondering why I would ever return.

We alpr coated your gym. The work that was being done on the Friday that we arrived was a disturbance in the pool area, that was unfortunate as the pool was on of thenr asons we chose the hotel.

« Big room, very dated and unkept. »

Very disappointing for a Fairmont. Paid to upgrade to suite as I needed work space with colleagues. The work table was impractical and the living space was poorly lit with two of four light bulbs not functioning. Bathroom water pressure was non-existent. Bed was comfortable. Carpet was either worn or had not been vacuumed recently.

Everything is great except the pillows. I like a firm pillow and there are none in the room that are firm, so I have to layer bath towels and then place one pillow on top of them.

The service and the rooms are not what they used to be. We've stayed at the Fairmount every year since we got married, and this year was super dissapointing. Our first room smelled bad, so we changed. Our second room had a tub that wouldn't drain (the shower water just sat in there for 8+ hours so we couldn't shower again), an A/C that only kind-of worked (we couldn't get it below 70 degrees), and pillows that smelled old and dirty. At that point, I called and requested to pay for an upgraded room for the next evening, since they had said those rooms were renovated. The lady at the front desk insisted that she would provide a complimentary upgrade. Yet, our third room was just the ADA-version of our first and second rooms - definitely not upgraded. I didn't want to cause too much trouble, so we stuck it out, only to experience more smelly pillows. They really need to replaced, as they smell like a sweaty gym room. We still really enjoyed our time by the pool, but even that is not as pristine or well-outfitted as it used to be. Finally, the front desk said they would send up champagne and strawberries to celebrate our anniversary. They never did. It's not that we would expected anything like that, but it was a letdown when they said they'd deliver something special and did not follow through.
