Check in was awesome and easy. Front desk and Concierge staff were friendly and helpful. Room service - dinner was great but breakfast was awful. I had to call and have the charge removed from my bill because most was not edible.

I had to ask for help getting my bags up to my room. There was never turn down service. I wanted a glass of wine and was curtly told that the bar closed in 10 minutes. She did not offer to give me a glass and let me relax after a very long day, she just kept shutting down the bar. I was told there was wine in the mini bar. Not quite the same. Not sure while the bar closes at 12 on a Saturday. Especially for hotel patron.

Very disappointed in the room,(662), had asked for a Bay View and the windows were so small you could not see the Golden Gate Bridge or the Bay. The attendants at the front desk were not aware of the circumstances of the room. The room is nicely appointed but there is NO VIEW!!!!

Room Smelled upon arrival, no rooms were available to move into, we couldn't open our window as the garbage was right outside our room. In the morning, I was woken up at 7 am by a worker sifting through wine bottles and cans.... My husband and I only get away once in a great while and this was not what we were looking forward to.

Have stayed here a number of times. This time was in a sub-par room for sure, but tried to look beyond and enjoy all the other things that The Claremont offers. Everything else did not disappoint.

We were upgraded to a lovely room! Had a lovely dinner in Limewood. There were a couple of minor included items overlooked from my Le Accor Club Silver status (newspaper, turndown, welcome drink). However, all of these were addressed later, to our satisfaction. Outstanding service provided at check-in by Jessica and at check-out by Lorie. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to the next.

The hotel itself is spectacular with superior amenities. The customer service is definitely one of the best I have experienced in my world wide travels. The room was great, but I just wish I had more of an unobstructed view of the bay for the type of room. Concierge was very helpful and the experience at the Limewood restaurant was equally great.

We loved the old world charm of your hotel. We were confused with the pool entry since there was much building going on and wished you had signage in directing guests. I have not been to your pool in years and walked all the way up the hill to the metal gate/door and got in while guest were going out which was NOT what I was supposed to do. A hotel security man followed up with me asking if I was a guest. Good work on his part but made me uncomfortable and could have been avoided. Perhaps service by the pool would be nicer if someone could come around taking orders for food and drink. I did enjoy our promo ticket where I received a $25 credit and valet parking was included with the discounted room. We loved our 5th floor room and view and was happy the weather worked out well for us. We had problems getting out of the parking lot because our room keys did not work (even after making sure with concierge that they were magnetized . Maybe you could have an attendant at the exit to help and say goodbye to guests as a nice touch. I look forward to staying with you all again and hope that major construction at your pool and exercise area will be done. Again, please have more signage to direct guests. Better yet, please tell your staff when guests are checking in the details about checking into the pool/exercise office at the bottom of the slope so guests don't get in trouble entering illegally at the top of the slope. Thanks so much.
