« Worst stay in a hotel in my whole life »

I am an accor client since many many years. My stay in mercure bomonti was the worst stay in a hotel in my whole life. This hotel is supposed to be a five star and to be honest it can not deserve more than 2 or maximum 3 stars. Dirty room My wife found a tampon with blood next to the bed when we enterred the room which was supposed to be the upgrade as se were upset!!!! Room not cleaned Waste basket not emptied Only one bath towel and we have a double room No shower gel When you request something you wait for ages Elevators are a night mare in morning time only two small elevators for 8 floors hotel with maybe 200 or plus rooms Internet does not work most of the time This is really very bad hotel with very bad service except maybe for a couple of individuals who try to help the rest of the staff is really unexperienced and unprofessional and really do not understand what they do in this hotel. I really i believe i wasted my money on this hotel.

Empty water bottles in the room on the day of arrival, shaving mirror couldnt be used because of technical broken arm, promise to send invoice to my email account which has not been done.

1) Air conditioning in the room was not working most of the time. 2) WiFi is very slow and not available in the room most of the time. 3) Food quality is bad. 4) Service is horrible. 5) Staff are very rude and need much training on how to deal with international customers and tourists. 6) Follow up of management is very poor. 7) i am totally disappointed and dissatisfied with my stay at your hotel this time and will not return again for sure as the hotel now is a two star level or even less.

great hospitable hotel especially ( Gozail ) guest relation was very friendly and extremely polite ... she was professional and gave good suggestion ... i didn't stay long just one night coz i had no time ... the spa was fabulous ( i have been treated as a king in the spa ).

the one issue was when we called them to ask if our room is ready, they kept keeping us on the line and contacting us every time with a different person that also keep us on the line and contact us to a different one.

Very well regarded and assisted by the entire staff at Mercure Bomonti. Is the second time in this hotel and I had 15 days in both occasions. Never felt uncomfortable.

Hotel is good value for money and is well situated. It would be beneficial for all if staff can be taught basic English. I struggled with room service. It was all down to communication. As a short-term solution the hotel could consider numbering all items on the menu. So one could conceivably order number 20 and 30 instead of asking for a wrap and getting served a beef steak (actual experience). A turn down service would be welcome.

We had a lovely stay at the Mercure Bomonti in Istanbul. We were welcomed with a Turkish coffee and smiling faces. The room was comfortable, clean and the staff were very helpful. Next time we come to Istanbul we will stay here again!

Our experience at your hotel was terrible. The hotel is beautiful but the service is bad. We were taken to the wrong room upon arrival and we had to show pictures of the room we booked before we were taken to a similar room to the one on booking.com. Your room service barely had any items on their menu and we were not allowed to bring any food into the hotel. One night we came back around 7:30pm to a horrible stench in the room and reception sent someone to spray some chemical in the room. No one called to check if the room smelled any better. We had to call reception again around 11:30pm when the air condition was not working. It was right in the middle of winter and it was only blowing cold air. Once again a technician came up and fiddled around with it only to tell us that it would take him really long to fix it. No one from reception bothered to come up and assist us, they just asked us to change rooms over the phone. So we packed our things at 00:00am and they tried to love us to a smaller room similar to the wrong one we got at check in. We refused to take that room and only then were we sent to a bigger room. This was frustrating to say the least. The next day, we tried to express our dissatisfaction to the Guest Relations officer and she wanted to argue with us about how everything had gone according to protocol. What happened to the customer is always right? Once she realized that she was out of order, she began to apologise and only then offer us options that would make the last day of our stay more comfortable. I really wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a complete waste of money in my opinion. The only thing that made up for our terrible stay was the spa and their wonderful staff. Otherwise, it was completely disappointing for a four star hotel.
