We stayed with my husband at the room for 2 and booked it in advance. However when checking in the towels and all the amenities were only for 1 person. Housekeeping was not good. We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. One day they forgot to clean up garbage, the next day forgot to refresh the water. During our stay we had an issue, and asked 3 different persons from the Front desk for the help, and all of them gave us totally different answers. When trying to solve an issue at the checking out, the same happened. Also we had issue with pre-authorized amount. The amount was blocked for more than 2 weeks. A week after the check-out I wrote an email to the hotel explaining the situation and asking for clarification. Despite more than 3 weeks has passed, there is still no reply. Good that we kept all the receipts and tried to solve the issue through the bank. Overall not recommended.

« MOST horrifying stay and terrible place »

This place is very bad. The room they put us in is had mold everywhere. The bathroom smelt so bad i cant even begin describe it. The radiator had a wooden cover and it was broken all the dust and spiders behind it was visible it was an absalute nightmare. I cant imagine how this place is a mercure hotel. Ive never stayed in a place this bad and ot did effect our holiday majorly considering we meeded to stay in that room. We went out to the hospital and came back to find our room door left wide open. All our items were in that room. I was so angry with this i called the reception. They sent their security guard TIMUR upstairs within 5 minutes and he was so rude. Clearly no customer service training has been provided to these people.He said his checked the cameras in 5 minutes which is bu’’sh’’.We did not feel safe at all.....He was so rude, he said im here to help you by raising his voice. You can imagine how upset we was finding out the maid left our room door open a room that has all our belongings in. Their excuse was the doors play up sometimes because theyre really old. Like seriously? I requested for our room to be changed and they mever cared enough to change our room or anything. I have asthma, i cant be mear mold and for that reason i couldnt even shower in that room. This was so upsetting. We went to a local spa everyday and took showers there. They are cheap for a reason and i seriously would not recommend this place. Im suprised they passed the inspection to become a Mercure Hotel franchise. They need to be inspected and honestly be povided a proper security So they know and understand that the service they provide includes making their guests feel safe.I asked for no one to enter our room. Not even the maids. The very next day we came back, suprise surprise someone had entered again.This place is NO mercure hotel. Its a fake establishment that just brought the name. Its a horrible place.

« Could be a great hotel, but service not at 5 star level, not customer oriented, too many small failures »

Pity, this nicely decorated hotel could be a great place to stay, but there are too many small failures and some of the personnel is absolutely not service minded. Not 5 stars, for service a 3 star level

Good Hotel with a brilliant Customer Service. Guest Relation Officer( Ms Satiya) was very Helpful. Hotel has a minor Electric issue but was solved immediately. Great Housekeeping Service. Value for money

Not cleaning at all .Black baktria in the shower.Old towels.Very bad bed and not cleaning at all.Staff hasn't any knowledge about hospitality and not suitable for work any any hotel even 1 star.Not advise at all.

What is offered against proposed is totally different. Room with view of the city is a lie. Cleaning is minimum, fridge did not work.....and the price is terrible. i will never go back there.This hotel is a chaos, totally dezorganized.

Check in and Check out very poor, either staff don't understand their own system or it does not work at all, a guest before me on check in and check out had the same issues, Not a language barrier.Apparrently was upgraded from a standard room I would hate to see a standard room if that's the case, wall paper peelng, lights not working, a wardrobe door half haning off that I had to fix myself.I pulled back the sheets and found hairs, and the sheets themselves had a number of obvious repairs. the bathroom floor was sticky, the shower soap dish not fitted properly, the aux shower head fixing to wall falling off, and the drain blocked so that after a minute the tray starts to fill up.The lighting in the room and switches to use them are useless/Am quite used to city centre hotels but when you can feel the vibration of a bus going by 40ft below that's disturbing at 5 in the morning.I was there for two nights when I returned at 20:00 hrs expecting that the room would have been cleaned etc, I found two bottles of water, that's it, bin not emptied beds not turned down, bathroom not cleaned which is what I would expect.I expect to be going to Istanbul two to three times a year but will not be using this Hotel or the chain

It was really wonderful, everyone was really nice, and provided great service 24/7. The only construktive comment i have is about information bout the hamam, at check in we were informed it was free to use, it only costs exstra for massage etc, but when my friend used the hamam, we were charged 160 lira and insisted we paid... either we were misinformed or they tried to charge exstra from torists..

Room cleaning was very bad Sheets were not changing No refill for water and coffee and minibar And most importantly a bottle of whisky was stolen from my room. Overall everything else was ok and I recieved a cake on my birthday, thanks for that.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Cleaning of the rooms on a daily basis was appalling, towels were not replaced daily (I had to ring housekeeping everyday for towels!!!). The glasses and cups were not cleaned any day (I had to ring the bar for clean glasses etc everyday). The smell of sewerage in the lobby is hard to handle so just breadth through your mouth until you get to your floor and you should be fine.

the hotel was very nice, loved the lobby, the staff were very kind, the customer services lady was very nice too. i was upgraded to a delux suite and the room was very nice and very clean, i had a wonderful time. the hotel also arranged my aniversary with roses and a cake and fruits which was a very good gift. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to istanbul

Very strategic location. Attentive care from the Guest Relations Staff. May be the desk is to be less "dry". Otherwise everything went SUPER at Mercure Bomonti.

The overall look of Hotel, lobby and restaurants was Good, modern, clean and comfort. The attitude of staff in reception was normal, we reached 12 a.m. and requested before for early check-in but waited for one hour 10 min, They told that will bring us refreshments during the time waiting for room but nothing offered. One family came after us but get room sooner than us. The room received was big enough for family but there was twin beds, asked to change but waited for 15 min to connect the beds. During connecting the beds two guys entered the room and inject pest control drug in the corner of the room, I shocked! The bell boy and guy who fixed beds expecting for tips but they were polite and I paid the tip. The gust Service staff was very polite always with smile and kind, good English speakers, the one we had main contact with her was Shirin, the Azari lady. The service driver to the Cevahir and Taksim that once we take the ride in 21st March @ 2p.m. was not kind and when noticed that there are guest for both destination nagged on ladies on reception and his driving was crazy. Answered one of the guests rude. The breakfast was acceptable, limited choice but good quality. The chef was making eggs was kind especially one who was old. Our room was in 1st floor room 1111, was noisy howbeit I asked in booking request I need a quiet room. The rooms door lock from inside didn't work and two times staff entered when we were inside. The airport service cost is 3 times more in comparison with yellow taxis. Over all I'm OK for stay just mentioned point for your info and service improvement.

« I couldn’t take a shower the whole time I was there »

The whole time I was there I couldn’t take a shower. The first night there was no hot water and after that the water ran brown. I tried 3 different rooms. This is unacceptable
