Excellent, like the layout and comfort of the rooms. Desk area was very practical for laptop when travelling and working on business. Reception team friendly and helpful.

The check-in with the young man at reception was awful, he made several mistakes without apologising once and then had the audacity to argue with me when I pointed out the error of his ways. I suggested some extra lessons in customer service might help him to which he turned his back to me as well as the 3 other customers waiting to check in behind me! His arrogance was exceptional and really unacceptable in the hospitality industry. The room though spacious and well-appointed left us sleep deprived every morning as the air conditioning in room 425 was so loud it was unbearable to sleep with on at night and the mattress left us both in pain every morning so much so that after 3 almost sleepless nights we decided to cut the trip short and check out after 3 nights instead of the 4 we had pre-paid for.

From the point of view of customer service this hotel has a lot to learn. Accor is our "Home from Home" This is the first time this year that we have not felt welcome at Accor. Ibis Styles Kortrijk could certainly learn from a Hotel like Ibis Styles Vechta! What a difference.

Very happy with the room, but I consider the hotel must improve communication with customers, I had 2 issues with a bad answer. 1. First day Wifi did not work for some hours, but I was not informed in reception. 2. When I did my check out the VAT number of my company in the invoice was not correct, I informe to the girl on the desk who was not able to solve the problem, informed me could be corrected next day, for to be sure I email informing about that problem, still I did not receive any answer.

We have stayed in IBIS and Mecure hotels all over the world, and this particular hotel was a bit of a let down. No functioning restaurant (that’s we were not advised of prior to arrival) and not hot drink facilities in the room (unlike advertised) We are cyclists, who have long days and when we get back to the hotel in the evening we would have appreciated food, and a hot drink that didn’t cost a fortune from the bar! Having said this, the staff were lovely, and the housekeeping staff in particular were fantastic.

Very expensive for a weekend stopover whilst we rode the Tour of Flanders and watched the prop race. The restaurant was not open the entire time we were there, and we hadn’t been warned before arrival. We would have amended our booking, as after a long day of riding, it would have been nice to relax and eat at the hotel! Standard rooms are very small for two people, but clean and tiday and do the job. No tea and coffee facilities in the room, even though advertised, so quite expensive to keep buying coffee over the bar. Having said all this, it was comfortable enough, but not up to the usual IBIS quality.
