Good location, friendly, helpful staff; good, clean, refurbished rooms and public areas. The gentleman on the bar in the evening worked hard, serving food and drinks, but I felt he needed some help at busy times; However, he kept going and we were all looked after very well.

I stay at this hotel every month, when visiting my Head Office. Normally I get 1 free drink as a regular customer but not this time. Normally I get 2 small bottles of water in my room each night but not this time!

wonderful helpful but themselves out for everyone because so many of us needed an early start, breakfast is good enough but evening menu needs to improve, staff were brilliant and so friendly, location also good, if not a bit hard to drive into

The staff are always very friendly. Most of them know me by name. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Only complaint is the Dinner menu is no way as good as it used to be. In the past I always ate in the Restaurant, now I always drive into town.

Nice hotel with all the needs for a business traveller. But dinner took more than one hour from arriving to the restaurant before the main course (there is a selection of only 3) was on the table in a restaurant with very few guests. Next morning the full breakfast was only available at 06h50, which is disturbing if you planned your day to leave before 07h00.

Weather wise we had a sunny but chilly arrival in Kortrijk, having driven through sleet and snow all day, but the reception in the Ibis Styles is warm and friendly. We had a superior room, which was welcoming, warm and spacious. Everywhere was clean. The shower was a good strength, but has the tendency to wash over the edge of the shower tray. Breakfast was pleasant and healthy, with fruit, yoghurt, pastries and hot food too. Parking is never a problem, is free too. Our Westie also enjoys the hotel as there is plenty of space and walking for him too.

« Staff is not OK! »

Always the same! People don't know what they are doing when we check out! Not friendly and not helpfull. We always book with Accor. Sometimes we need to pay in advance other times we don't. It is not always clear. When we place four bookings, three were dealt with similar, the last is different, WHY! The staff always wants us to pay double ... ALWAYS! And what with the fees? If we pay in advance, the are paid too! Is there some sort of black market, we have that feeling? The always tell us it is not paid when it is!! Check and educate your staff!

Upon entering the room at 23:00 the temperature was very high. I opened the window for about 45 minutes and shut down the heating. Without sufficient impact. During the night I woke up about 3 times because of the high temperature. Even when tuning down to 16°C the system produced warm air. This was just on this occasion. I have not experienced this problem in this hotel before. What I do experience every time I stay : 1) no boiled eggs 2) the ham is of poor quality, as it is in most Accor hotels unfortunately

I have stayed at this hotel for the past 4 years to attend an event at the Expo. My first two stays were wonderful but have to say the hotel is not as good as it used to be. I endured the hotel renovations last year whilst the builder were working and thought that improvement was going to be made. I ordered a Superior Room as I had in the past but was disappointed with the renovations. The Superior room although bigger than the norm, did not somehow feel "Superior". My biggest disappointment this year was the catering facilities, no restaurant on either the Friday or the Saturday evening. After travelling all day the last thing you want to have to think about is going out to find a meal. The second evening at the recommendation of your lady on reception we ordered a meal on line. I have to say it was dreadful, by the time it arrived it was almost cold and therefore it was not an enjoyable experience. We tried telephoning the Chinese Restaurant just over the road but apparently they do not do take-away and would not accept a couple of small dogs in the restaurant. All in all I was really disappointed and will possibly look for another hotel in the vicinity for my visit next year - one that has a working restaurant. Apart from that the beds are very comfortable, the area is quiet and I have never had any car parking problems and the hotel is very dog friendly..
