« Good hotel with walking distance to the terminal. »

The check-in was quick and efficient and was to my satisfaction. The room was spacious with good working desk and a very nice and comfortable bed. The hotel also have a small mini-mart, where you can get some extra stuff. I am very satisfied with the welcoming and servicing attitude of the staff. You can walk from the hotel to the terminal in around 5 minutes, or you can take the free shuttle-bus if you want.

Overall a great place to stay. Only issue was the bed being 2 singles pushed together which left a low spot in the middle

« Nothing to complain about; it was all good! »

Very warmly greeted on arrival. I was with a group of 8 folk from a variety of countries. Two of us were Accor members and that was not lost on your receptionist who diplomatically made sure we received the correct rooms and drinks voucher.

The reception staff were helpfull, friedly and rofessional. The room had unpleasant odour, there was no bottled water in the room fridge. Dinning facilities are lacking.

The lady at reception was fantastic a great asset to your company the lady doing the cleaning was also great with a fantastic sense of humour. Unfortunately this is where it finished my college and I dined at the novotel and Mercure and the service was poor to say the least which is surprising as I usually stay at Accor hotels for business and pleasure in Australia and overseas.

« Great arrival service and access to airport. »

Although a short stop over, the staff were very accommodating and helpful and room was spacious and comfortable. Once inside the Novotel the oppressive humidity which is Darwin in the 'wet' was made to disappear.

« Nothing special »

Found the room bedding was out dated and itchy. Room smelt mouldy. Nor Dinner or breakfast had alternative food for someone that's a vegetarian but also allergic to dairy and eggs. Breakfast didn't even have visible soy milk. Chinese restaurant tried to accommodate but was left with over priced tiny spring rolls and soggy fried rice.

« Good service, friendly staff »

Reception staff are friendly and efficient check in was very smooth. The rooms are good, neat tidy and comfortable. Breakfast is across the road and if there was somewhere else to go I would have gone, the hash browns and bacon was over cooked, the combination of beans dish was not good (just stick to plain baked Beans) and the staff wiped the tables on to the floor with the same dirty cloth. Disappointing for the money.

There were mushrooms growing inside the unit at the balcony door. The aircon was not really cool despite being on the correct settings. The aircon was also not that clean (mold) a health hazard. The room had a very unpleasant smell. Whether that’s because it was damp or possibly from smokers sitting outside I don’t know. A general ‘unclean’ feel.

Mix up with payment (my work paid for my stay but reception told me I had to pay and put the deposit down) My quilt was ripped so the stuffing was exposed quite significantly which I found rather gross. Restaurant food prices were far too high. wasn't notified that I could utilise the facilities at the resort across the road until a friend told me I could. One of the cleaners (Selina) was extremely friendly and helpful everytime I seen her. She should be congratulated on her brilliant people skills and how helpful she is. Really appreciated having her there in the mornings for a chat and she assisted me with several things.
