Waited in line for over an hour to check in. Then to park vehicle a long way from hotel and having to go back to Reception to validate the ticket.

At night the room was too bright

I couldn't swim

I arrived at the Novotel at about 8pm and was checked in. I read the information given to me about the hotel which said that the lovely looking new pool was open until 10pm, so I got changed and went down for a swim at about 8:45pm to get refreshed. When I got down there no one was in the pool and a bollard was in front of the entrance, so I asked at the bar what the story was and was told that the pool shuts at 7pm. This is not what was advertised and it made my stay very disappointing, as it would have been great to cool off with a swim in a lovely facility that was supposed to be open by the information supplied online and in handouts. I will stay elsewhere next time, as I booked here so I could use the pool.
