The hotel is well located for Heathrow terminal 1,2,3 and I also booked because of the Novotel brand. The disappointment started with the check-in process, which was quite frosty and lacked a true welcome. The room was fine for the occasion. The bar service was unwelcoming and felt more like a parochial pub. Despite champagne by the glass being on the drinks menu were told that the bar did not serve champagne by the glass. The hotel offered a restaurant setting with pub service. The checkout process was smooth and this was the best customer service we received. A taxi was arranged for us and we went on our way. Having stayed at the Sofitel at Heathrow T5, I expected more from this Novotel as it is part of the same company. I'm also part of the loyalty program and did not feel like a valued member.

Reception tiny and understaffed. Food was very average and more pub grub than anything else. Rooms good and clean.

We had a very good night, however my wife and I ordered fish and chips mine was ok but nothing outstanding my wife however sent hers back twice and then gave up and had a salad her fish had a hard pice that was almost impossible to cut on both pieces and as for being beer battered you could have fooled me

The hotel is modern, clean and has good facilities. Reception staff could do with better training. Easily distracted and not focused on person checking in. Lacking in providing information about the hotel and facilities. Food in dining room was good, however choice and layout of breakfast items was poor. Staff cleared plates and cups too quickly without asking if you have finished. Would be better if you could post dinner bill to main room account rather than pay at the table. Inconvenient if you don’t have wallet with you.

Overall it was a good experience apart from the shower not draining water efficiently causing the water to overflow in the bathroom. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Was a little disappointed to find the choice of red wine available for the free drink was only one wine and sold for $3.00 a litre in Australia.

This was my third stay at this hotel. I liked the size of the executive room, but the layout is not very good, with the tv only facing the bed and not the sofa. Room service staff was very friendly and so was the lady at check out. Check in was a little “short”, and no real welcome. Finally, I do realise that requests for room location are not guaranteed, but 3 stays, 3 requests... all ignored... never mind.

We stayed in late April before a very long flight back to Australia. The rooms are lovely & clean with comfortable beds and the best shower ever!!! The bar and breakfast area was nice (pancake machine was a hit). My only area of things that could be improved is the lack of staff on check in and checkout. Other than that we definitely recommend Novotel Heathrow and we will be back next time we are in London.

Stay was ok. Hotel was over warm. No receipt has yet been emailed. For the free drink I was only allowed ‘House Wine’. Which is disappointing.

When I arrived the booking system was down so I was unable to book in. Once it came back on line no one could find my pre-paid booking (booked via the Accor app). Having to prove my booking & how much I paid for it even though it was quite clear on the Accor app that the booking was confirmed). Once I got to the room the aircon was set at 20 and would not move down leaving a room that was far too hot. There was no room service menu in the room (which is all I was after considering I’d just travelled for 30 hours) so had to go back down stairs to collect it. The breakfast next morning was fairly ho hum. In saying this, the reception staff were very good considering there didn’t have a computer system to work with.
