next to a public parking garage. with shops and restaurants only 50 meters away. view on the casino (next to the sea). you can have a drink at the bar, or eat in the restaurant. at the information desk where you check in, you'll find very helpful staff

As always - an enjoyable stay. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Room ideal for my needs. Location is a plus for this Hotel, which is why I always stay here when in Ostend. If the bar stocked Chimay Blue, amongst it's beers..would be almost perfect !

I was very satisfied with this visit: the room was spacious and modern, the very large bed extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was superb with one of the widest selections of food I have encountered in a hotel breakfast. There was secure parking nearby, which is always important in a town centre. I would be very pleased to stay at this central hotel again.

Ok. Not great. No parking as advertised, was told the restaurant was busy and we’d have to book when it was empty. Also, terrible view from room window. But! I asked for a room next to the lift and that’s what I got

The Hotel is very well situated in Ostend. Very comfortable and clean. I have been told that the staff were excellent and even noticed that it was the Guests birthday and gave him a box of chocolates. A very nice touch. I would definitely recommend this Hotel and I know that I will be booking with them again in the near future.

Terribly hot and noisy.

We were there for two days for a conference. We arrived the day before the conference and were given a room right up the stairs from your bar. The Bar was noisey and when we called your reception at almost midnight we were told the bar would be closing in 15 minutes. We called back over an hour later and were told in a rude manner that the guests would be leaving the bar and then he hung up on us. Mind you we were polite and calm in our phone calls but your receptionist was rude and abrupt. The air system did not work in your rooms and kept the temperature between 20 and 22 degrees which is very warm to sleep. Overall, it was not a very pleasant stay.

location is good for seaside and for train station if needed. rooms clean and comfortable. secure parking (at a price) is available. plenty of choice for breakfast, and plenty of it. evening meal out of season was good but have to pre book a time slot as barman does cooking as well as bar, easier to eat in town! housekeeping not up to normal standard, no replenishing of toiletries and tea/coffee, and we weren't the only ones who noticed.

we have been to this hotel before but it was not up to its usual standards this time. housekeeping, the towels were changed but toiletries and tea/coffee were not replenished. we were not the only room that had to go to the reception about this. pre book a timed evening meal? (only one person looking after bar and doing the meal) that was a first for us, but as we like the hotel , location, secure parking , pleasant room, we will be staying again.

good breakfast, real scrambled eggs would make it perfect. A bit too much noise from the halls entering the rooms and difficult to make the airconditioning stay at 20 degrees - it seems to change back to a warmer temperature which is uncomfortable.

We have enjoied our stay at MERCURE hotel + comfortable hotel: room, bar, breakfast room, reception + excellent service: great thanks we could join for diner on old years eve + parking garage was a bit difficult to find one open place, but thanks to the MERCURE batch we finally could find parking place - one small elevator for all visitors: migth be too less
