Nice room with large bed, curtains blinded the room very well, large enough bathroom. Professional, friendly staff and huge breakfast; no queing for check in or check out. in short had a perfect stay there

We were promised 'priority' check-in - the receptionist didn't even acknowledge us until I spoke, and then he told me to wait as he needed to log onto his system. The beds are a joke, so soft it feels like you're on a water bed. 'Priority' check-out - "just drop the card in the box" they said. No box to be seen, had to queue as only one receptionist on duty.

Check in took far too long as receptionist needed to log into his computer system. Beds were far too soft, very much like water beds. Check out also took far too long, no 'box' to drop key card in so had to wait in line. Only one receptionist working.

« Great location and breakfast »

We stayed 1 night only. We were glad to get a quiet room with a nice view. The hotel is recently renovated. Nice arrangement with the private parking. Very deliciuos breakfast and great location. The beds were not so great but this is personal taste. We had a drink at night in the bar. For a couple alone is not so pleasant to seat in a bar with older people drinking non-stop (British tourists) but again this is personal taste. The bathroom is very small and the hari dryier was not clean, a lot of dust on it. The room was ok qua cleanness.

« Short stay but excellent service. »

We enjoyed a large room, very comfortable. The Gin/tonic cocktails are a specialty we recommend! The hotel resides just beside the concert hall we were visiting, and... we even met the artists in the hotel afterwards! So lots of good souvenirs...

« worst stay after 26 years of visiting »

I have visited this hotel for the past 26 years and I have seen it change namaes 5 times . I have been visiting 5 - 6 times a year , and everytime i stayed it was first rate , always staying on the fifth floor front balcony room , but this time the room I was in was sub standard very small and very smelly of sewers and when this was pointed out to the desk staff they told me that it was due to the weather . BUT STILL I SLEPT IN A SMELLY UNCLEAN ROOM AND PAID THE FULL PRICE . THE BREAKFAST AS USUAL WAS GREAT AND THE BREAKFAST STAFF WONDERFUL .

« very expensive smelly room »

I have been staying at this hotel for 26 years even when it had different names and always had a great experience , this weekend 4th November 2017 I paid for the room with a balcony which costed £188 and received a room that was so small , tv not working , not cleaned , and it smelled of sewers . my wife had great difficulty sleeping with this smell . Room service was very slow and the evening receptionist could not understand me. After 26 years I'm thinking of looking for another hotel ....I wasn't even offered a complimentary drink. Mo on reception was very as always through the years and your breakfast staff . Very disappointed in the rest .

We stayed for a long weekend in a privilege room with balcony. The staff was very friendly and help full. Room was spotless clean. And breakfast until 11h catered for everyone’s taste.

The superior room was not superior at all...it was very small, the same for the bathroom. The bed was as hard as stone. Personel was friendly and breakfast very good which should be for 20 euro/ person.

Breakfast: everything present: Granola, Yoghurt, Fresh Fruit, Juices, Bread (dark and white), Toast, croissants, pancakes, Eggs, Beans Sausages, .... Extensive the assortment, ..... Staff: friendly staff Bagage service: well organized (with receipt) Rooms: Clean (except for the suction system above the bath/shower), all comfort present, but a little small. Very little room behind the bed Location: see and promenade are only 1 min walk away, city centre: 2 min, Tram: 2 min, .... it's ideal!
