« Room OK, breakfast poor »

The title says it all really. The room was fine, and I appreciated the modern, clean bathroom, and the Nespresso machine. The breakfast really was substandard. The self-service coffee was the worst I've ever had - someone once said it was impossible to get bad coffee in Italy, but this was the exception! Fortunately I noticed the Italian guests were getting their coffee from the proper machine in the bar next door, so I did this from day two. The pastries were stale and inedible.

« Good hotel »

The hotel was located close to the motorway and a metro station (10 minutes walk). The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was typical for an Italian hotel (not a huge choice but quite acceptable) and the food in the restaurant was good quality and tasty. Overall a good hotel.

I stayed for 3 nights. The hotel overall is very good with wonderful modern rooms. The breakfast is the downside of this hotel, it needs a lot of improvement. I stayed in many Novotel hotels and this one has the least breakfast of all of them.

« A lovely week in Brescia »

I had such a nice time staying in the Brescia Novotel 2. I stayed 7 nights and was so pleased with my choice. I am a professional musician, so I have checked in to hundreds of hotels and I thought that the check-in was the friendliest, most welcoming check-in I have ever had. The room was perfect and the breakfast was very high quality. The pool is big enough to swim properly and the fitness room is well-equipped.

Comfortable room, excellent staff, nice pool. Very disappointed that an International Hotel Chain saw fit to close the main restaurant for the holiday period, if this had been seen on the website on booking I would have chosen another hotel. The choice for the evening meal was not good.

« Nice Hotel a bit outside the centre »

Nice pool, good staff and clean rooms. The gym was a old treadmill and crosstrainer, and the breakfast coukd be hectic (couldnt get scrambled eggs ir bacon the first two mornings). But the breakfast was so good (for a hotel in Italy). Restaurant was closed, but the bar wasopen. Stayed with wife and kids and they all enjoyed our vacation.

« A good hotel to stop on the way and have a quick look at the old town in Brescia »

Everything was fine. The only concern was that while making the booking on-line, DIners card was one of the options to pay and the pre-payment went successfully, while on spot it appeared that this card is not accepted by the hotel. If somebody does not have another card, it may cause some unnecessary problems. It is not fair and Accor should work on that!

« OK »

Overall the experience was good but there was some issues: 1. If you call it a lifeguard is should be a lifeguard. The two on duty during our stay was more pool managers. They spend time on their phones, cleaning tables, having fun with friends and being absent. That is OK but don't call them lifeguards then. 2. Breakfast was way under staffed. Running out of scrambled eggs and bacon all the time. Coffee machine broke down every morning. 3. Nice bar but to often nobody to serve you - as shame when you would like a glass of wine.

The hotel was good and employees helpful, except the lifeguard who was very lazy and spent most of his time away from the pool and on the phone. The hotel should not allow parents to dump and leave their child unattended in the pool. It is not my responsibility to save them if they drown. The breakfast could do with more employees as they struggled to refresh the stock and if you went late to breakfast a lot of products were unavailable. More variety on night menu would encourage people to eat there as i wanted to but there was a lack of options. The room was comfortable and nice. Parking was occasionally difficult. Overall a good stay but a couple of things could be improved.
