The stay was great - my only comments are around some improvements you could make to further minimize your environmental impact. 1. is to stop using single use shampoo/conditioner bottles - lots of hotels now use refillable larger dispensers attached to the walls that can be filled up - thus significantly minimizing the plastic bottles which would rarely by recycled (better to minimize before recycling anyway) 2. When I ordered breakfast (which was great) it was covered in foil which ended up in the bin - I have seen some hotels use the reusable plastic/metal lids for plates which would save a lot on plastic wrap/foil waste. thanks.

Traveling with a special needs child can be difficult the hotel was excellent, they made everything so easy. We arrived early but this was no problem, our room was ready so we checked in early and were able to relax. The staff were fantastic helping my son to feel at easy and enjoy his stay. Little things like a free icy pole by the pool made my son so happy. Really a lovely place to stay

Friendly staff, lovely room near the pool. Great location. Very positive. Only thing to consider is that the pillows were high and hard, perhaps some softer ones in the cupboard.

Comfortable modern room. Professional check in staff. Friendly but poorly trained restaurant staff. Staff led us to a table placed the menus on the table and left us. Chairs were not pulled out nor serviettes placed across laps. Food was reasonable and good volume.

We have previously stayed at the Novotel Southbank and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We then booked to stay 3 more times before the end of this year for various functions. This time upon arrival we were told we had to park at the convention centre at Southbank as the carpark downstairs was "full". We left our bags with reception as our room wasn't ready and drove to the Convention centre to find out it was full/closed. We drove back to the Novotel where they told us that a few people had just checked out and we could now park downstairs. My husband parked the car and said it was pretty empty down there, only about 10 other cars!!!! When we returned to our room in the early evening our room was ready, we went upstairs to find our bags were not in our room. My husband then had to go back downstairs to collect them. We have 2 more bookings coming up so I hope we don't incur the same issues.

Not enjoyable. The poor customer service was from the moment i walked in the doors. The food at the restuarant was terrible. And due to the hotel being at capacity we had to park at the convention center which was a fair hike with luggage and due to events that parking was full. The room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable.

We booked a room with pool access on Thursday 7th we were woken up at 12.30am by a group of noisy men jumping in and out of the pool it continued until 1.30am we reported it to reception the next morning she said there should be no pool access after 10pm also there was no brochure regarding air con operation if we open any door the air con would shut down

Positives: - comfortable rooms - reasonable accommodation Negatives: - carpet in rooms is abrasive - consider natural non-flammable carpet material in lieu - windows not operable - I was missing fresh air - security compromise - one of our delegates was assaulted/harassed on way to her hotel room!!!!! delayed assistance and poor communication with this was a massive Duty of Care issue!!

Perfect location for South Bank.

On the first night the air-con didn't work, I called several times to request the issue be resolved. I was told that they are working on it and I would be notified. There was no follow up, every time I called I got the same response, but no call back. the next day I was told that the system was faulty and hopefully would be fixed by that evening. again I was not notified of any outcome, the air-con was better the second evening, although never reached the desired temperature.
