« Tourist in my own Town »

Great weekend with my wife playing tourist in our own town ,Dinner at southbank with friends easy walk back to Hotel ,beautiful room looking over park ,very comfortable bed and friendly staff . Easy to park however next time may be cheaper to uber in .because once you are at hotel easy to walk around the sights-Brisbane southbank looking good in summer time.

Upon checkin the staff member simply asked for my credit card and gave me a piece of paper to sign. Didn't confirm the details of my stay nor the charges. He also didn't provide me any information about the hotel, what level my room was on, guest services or restaurant/room service. When I asked where I could park my car he told me to park it in the convention centre and walk back - saying the hotel would validate my parking. He did not provide details about the cost of the validation which was a surprise to me on checkout. Overall I would describe the customer service as poor although the staff member who looked after my check-out was apologetic and friendly. Why room was very comfortable and quiet.

Long queue checking in, wrong assignment of Accor membership points, assigned to an accessible room without consent, expensive and low quality breakfast. Overall sub-par.

Very new and clean premises in a great location close to all cultural and Conference facilities. I was very unhappy about paying $32 for parking as a hotel guest. How this charge can possibly be justified I do not know. One day there will be a Royal Commission into car parking in Australia. It is a charge that is totally unjustified irrespective of location. The first hotel that doesn’t charge hotel guests for parking will always have a full house.

The rooms & staff are good but the breakfast is overpriced & too fancy. WE only eat basic food & found the food too fancy. The self serve coffee machine only worked one day out of four. Cup of tea was served & the water was luke warm.

Chick in and check out was as smooth and quick, no issues with anything. Great location with a fantastic boutique coffee roaster 2 minutes walk (Glee Coffee Roasters). Staff were professional and friendly. I'd stay here again.
