The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and the experience was good. The breakfast is not as good as other ibis hotels, perhaps they need some training or a good supervisor.

« exactly what to expect from IBIS »

Great standard is what to expect from Ibis, and is what you get. It is a bit on the high side though. Would be great if they get a professional to take care of the kitchen especially for breakfast. The staff are very friendly.

One of the front staff was trying to sell me a shady deal with regards to rates and possibly pocket the money for himself. Room smelt musty like there was some water damage or damp in the room.

I liked everything except the fact that my room was smelly. It wasn't that serious but still it was enough to ruined my entire experience in hotel. If there isn't any smell more than I will definitely go there again.

First the hotel bus was supposed to pick me at the airport, once I reach accra, no bus was there. I had to find a taxi to go the hotel. Secondly, my booking was request for 2 days, once I arrive I discover that the hotel staff just considered 1 day and refuse to change the booking Thirdly, the second night at the hotel, the reception call me at 1 in the morning to tell me that I have to leave since the booking was not confirmed by my company, I had to show the original mail sent to request the booking to stay, but nobody apologize for the inconvenience

As a regular visitor to your hotel anytime I am in Ghana, I have nothing but admiration for your staff and their professional standards. I could go on and on but to simplify things, your hotel standards meets international requirements. You have a very high caliber of staff. As a United Nations security officer, I tried to find out why such a professional way of hotel management in Ghana. What I concluded after speaking with some staff pointed to the general manager style of leadership. I am glad ibis has such leadership in Ghana hotels. I just hope this performance can be sustained so visitors after their stay can carry a positive image of good impression to lesson the bad image Ghana hotels have. Kudos to the GM and staff of ibis Ghana.

« worth a value for money »

It was a remarkable one. The room service was exquisite not alone the room layout. My only concern is the Live Band on Thursday nights, the atmosphere wasn't welcoming, very low spirited performance. Live Band must captivate your customers, as a turf protector, it needs to be well reengineered. Aside from that the experience will forever be memorable. Great staff too.
