Poorly finished bathroom ,poor menu, in-efficient staff particularly bar staff - half an hour to get a drink and order food (every time !) - I have stayed here 2-3 times a year for the last 15 years - never seen the place so run down !

Hotel seems disorganised and tired. Location to Race track is best thing about it. Pool area is ok jacuzzi was not very warm the day we used it. Steam room & sauna ok. Trainers must be worn in the gym. Restaurant slow and uninteresting in decor and menu

We had a sleepless night over next door being loud all night and then in the morning we was woke up early from the conference meeting upstairs dragging chairs across the floor and then when complained staff was very rude and unhelpful.

Hi, i was given a ground floor room, which had windows onto carpark. This meant I was disturbed by cars driving in and out and people talking on the way to their cars. Whilst the room was very spacious, the bed was very hard, and there wasnt adequate lighting.

Me and my mum stayed for 1 night spa break booked through Spabreaks.com. On arrival there was lots of parking available and we were able to check in our room before our check in time which was very useful! The spa facilities were great! Although there was a birthday party involving quite a few ladies who took all the lay down beds for the whole afternoon we was there, meaning we had to resort to a couple of chairs, which was fine but we would have preferably liked to enjoy the comfort of the lay down beds for some of the afternoon. The food included in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast was amazing! Staff throughout our stay was all very polite, smiley and helpful! (Waiters/waitresses, chamber maids, reception staff, spa staff, spa therapist). The room was clean and had everything we needed for the night. We had a slight issue concerning the treatments we chose within our package but the issue was resolved very quickly and staff was very apologetic. I had a great relaxing time with my mum, it’s not the first time I have booked this spa package at the Mercure Brands Hatch Hotel and it won’t be the last! Amazing stay!

Fine overall, very pleasant and restful, with a friendly atmosphere. Great shower and I appreciate the coffee machine now I have learned how to use it, plus the free drinks in the fridge! One minor issue, as I mentioned to Reception and House Keeping, the usual Information Folder was missing from my room (296), meaning I had to get the menu and other details from them separately, eg for Room Service. Also, when the bar is busy it would be good to have more staff available to serve, as there is often a wait for this. I also find it very useful to have the on site Hand Car Wash so easily available. I have yet to use the Pool which looks rather small and busy all the time.

The room was absolutely fine, modern, fresh and clean. Everything you would expect and need from a hotel. Booked a table in the restaurant. Staff were a little bit unprofessional. Didn't know what soft drinks they had. We said we would go to the bar and have a look and they said you can but it's quite a walk. It was about 20 meters away! They then were out of stock of a few items. Having said that, the food was really nice. Would stay there again due to its location for the race circuit.

Attended a function at the venue, our room was hot when we arrived and when we left due to the Aircon not working which also spoilt the event being held in the De Havilland suite.

I will reiterate in this response what I have previously stated to other guests that were attending the same function and that is that we were not able to anticipate the issues with the air conditioning and due the nature of the technical fault we were not able to repair this in house either. While we do have a robust maintenance programme in place, on occasion, there will inevitably be technical issues that arise and sadly this was exacerbated by the fact that it was a Bank Holiday weekend and the contractors were unable to attend site as quickly as we would have expected. Reception staff very welcoming on arrival. Room was okay. Service in the restaurant was at the usual standard - some serious thought needs to go in to how the hotel runs this service as it is pretty poor and never seems to improve (the reason I tend to go out to eat most times I stay). Room was comfortable and clean but going for a shower in the morning was not a pleasant experience due to the lack of hot water.
