Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Staff helpful, hotel nice & clean, but not big! 10-15 mins walk to centre. Hotel just a little too warm for us. Although have booked to stay here again for our next trip to Liverpool!

Staff were friendly and helpful... especially the staff covering breakfast duty. The only disappointing part of the hotel for us was the size of our bathroom.... tiny and claustrophobic.

« comfortable room but not sure why I paid extra for Privelege »

It was ok. I thought the staff were perhaps too busy to be friendly but they were polite. Had to ask for a bottle opener to use items from mini-bar as none provided and only enough toiletries for one person. Paper ordered was never delivered. Overall not a very enjoyable experience but nothing seriously wrong either. I thought it expensive for what we got compared to a stay the previous night in another hotel.

« Hotel decor a bit dated but staff all friendly and helpful »

Overall a pleasant stay. Room was a bit compact but clean and a great view of the Liver building and Pier Head. We were often short on toiletries and tea and milk but these were readily supplied on request. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. Restaurant evening menu was disappointing.

« What a hotel!!!!!! »

Me and my girlfriend recently stayed at the Mercure Liverpool for my best mates wedding. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we were made to feel welcome. The hotel couldn't have done more for us and for the wedding. We were greated by Tanisha who before the ceremony who made us feel relaxed, the wedding was ran perfect and made the day and night very special for my mates wedding! Couldn't thank the team at Mercure Liverpool enough, thank you!!!!

« Nice hotel but poor value »

Small, smart room with excellent view. No bath. No breakfast included. Limited tea and coffee just plain mean on a room costing £165. Parking and breakfast would bring cost up to just under £200, which is in the realms of luxury accommodation. Awkward walk around hotel for parking.

Our room wasn’t ready even though I had checked in online and stated I would arrive before 3, but the staff were so nice , upgraded our room free of charge , the room was so nice , such a nice gesture, I come back every 3 months for hospital appointment I always choose this hotel as the staff and facilities are wonderful, travelling from Swansea, tired ect it’s just what you need

« Your staff on reception were very helpful at all times. »

We had booked another hotel for our stay which we discovered was far from satisfactory. We turned up at your hotel just on chance that you may have availability. We explained the situation to your reception staff who were very sympathetic and were able to help us secure a lovely room with great views across the Mersey at a good price too.

Our second visit to Liverpool and our second stay at the Altantic Tower with its great views of the Liver building.Freindly staff and a very comfortable room just what we needed after a day sight seeing around the dock area and city centre which which is a short walk away.

The hotel is billed as a four star hotel but it falls short of that ranking. From the moment I entered the hotel I knew that it would not live up to a four star hotel. The public areas were shabby, the lifts were shabby and the corridors on the bedroom floors were shabby. The hotel is tired and has the look of one that is used and abused by guests. By the time you get to the bedroom you are already disappointed. The bedroom was comfortable but very small for 2 people and the bathroom was a very tight squeeze.
