« Weekend Stay »

The stay was fine and the staff also. The room, We are not big people and do not spend alot of time in the room which is a good job as the room was tiny. We do feel we paid a very high price for a very average room. Also the parking we did find to be very overpriced for where it was located from the hotel. We did find the staff to be very friendly which was a bonus. Location of hotel was good also.

Great hotel, fantastic view, comfortable beds, clean and good service. There were a couple of small mistakes (room service very late, no hairdryer) but the staff were brilliant and sorted it out in no time.

Hotel okay. Corridor outside of room had unpleasant smell. Room okay but lighting was ot good and TV remote only worked intermittently.

I was up in Liverpool to see the fireworks display. I booked this hotel to watch them from my room if I was not able to cope with the large crowds. My first room had a problem with the TV being effected by atmospherics and poor signal, on mentioning this to the recieption they changed my room to a far superior room (Not only bigger, more facilities, great view and working TV) - I had to check to make sure a mistake had not been made. It was amazing and allowed me to calmly watch the city from my room. At Breakfast the next morning we had a FIRE ALARM the hotel was evacuated quickly and looking after customers was top priority, it looked to be very organised and practiced routine I was very reassured that this was a hotel company that was doing its best for its customers. BREAKFAST was a buffet and fine with all the expected items for breakfast. My only criticism would be that the batch cooked amounts were too big for the amount of guests resulting in spoilage (Eggs Dried Out) smaller batch sizes of all items would of improved quality and presentation.

Hotel looked tired. Room smelt musty and the windows don't open. Could not sleep at all with guests next door shouting and banging on our and other doors all night long. Breakfast was greesy and tasted of old fat.

« Brilliant stay apart from booking suitable dates which was horrendous »

No faults with reception, restaurant staff, and cleaners who all do a superb job very cheerful and friendly. Only fault was in the booking of suitable dates, as "Buyagift" voucher was being used dates requested "not available" but if booking independent without the voucher hey presto the dates were available phoned numerous times with dates explained my friend and I worked shifts and that it was hard for us to get the same time off. We ended up taking the first available weekend in November which wasn't really suitable for us. At this point I had spent enough time phoning to arrange a suitable date

Lovely staff. Clean rooms. Very acceptable food. We were near the lift and it was so noisy until 4am and then people start to rise a few hours later. Would stay there again.
