Such a cute and quirky hotel! We had a fantastic time , the rooms were lovely and the breakfast was great. We only had one issue, when we checked in we found one member of staff on reception was a little impolite in that he rushed the process and seemed disinterested. But overall a lovely place. I’ve stayed at other Ibis hotels but not the Ibis Styles and found this to be one of the most comfortable Ibis stays. Room was a good size, breakfast was nice and there were quite a few options and staff were friendly.

Unfortunately the air conditioning unit in our room was malfunctioning and we didnt really realise it until the middle of the night. It made a loud 'washing machine' like noise in the ceiling. Every time we thought we might get up to report it it would stop, and being very tired, we would go to sleep again and hope for the best, till it went off again. I finally gave up when it went off at 5.30 am and I went downstairs in my pajamas to get a member of staff to help. He was aware that there had been problems on the 5th floor (we were room 551), he was very nice and came and listened to the noise and informed us that if we had let him know sooner then he could have moved rooms for us. As it was now 5.45ish it was a bit late as my alarm was set for 6.30, so I just got up and read a book in the lobby until 6.30 when the breakfast area was opened. Unfortunately there was a problem with breakfast too. The staff member responsible, through no fault of her own (her bus never came), was late and breakfast was not ready. As it was only my husband and I there this was not a huge issue, but meant that we had to wait for some things and had to ask for milk for our tea and butter for our toast because it wasnt there. The lady was very helpful, but I felt she was not offered any help from other members of staff and was trying to catch up with all the preparation by herself. So, sadly in the end, even though staff were lovely, we had a poor sleep and a bad breakfast. I would suggest that you not offer rooms on the 5th floor if you are aware of a problem in the future and make sure staff are a little more team oriented so when one collegue is struggling others pitch in to help. I don't think we will stay here again to be honest.

Not as good as usual. Initial reception was indifferent. My request had been ignored in allocating a room. The room I was allocated (714) is dire. Whoever designed the layout of an admittedly less than ideal shape should be made to stay in it for a few nights as penance! Repeated requests for the heating system to be serviced due to a flashing light on the control panel went unheeded. If Maintenance had looked at it they did not feed back to the customer facing staff. Same problem with the damaged bedside light. On the plus side Coline on reception did her best to sort things out and is a very good representative for ibis. But for her efforts my grading would have been much lower. Finally, it is probably time to remove the newly refurbished tag from your description on the L'Accor websites. Some the 'new' decor is getting a bit tired now. `some of the carpets by the lifts are getting a bit worn. The raining cats and dogs lift "wallpaper is starting to peel and has an erosion patch in it.

The hotel itself is clean, has perfect location, and good design. We stayed there four nights at the end of January. The problem was with the climate controls. Due to this problem, we were forced to change the room at 2 AM in day of arrival, and then again two times at night before departure. Also it was bad smell in our bathroom. Nevertheless, I asked about that several times, and housekeeping did something in this case, it was appearing again and again.

The location of the hotel is great but the facilities itself were a bit disappointin. The room was quite clean but I've seen cleaner ones and for example the bed linen seemed to be quite old. The air con was really loud and the walls paper thin. Breakfast was ok but not great.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, in this amazing hotel and chose to eat in the Jamboree bar on the 1st night. Although overcharged for the meal ( as we both had the set price option ) this was quickly dealt with when pointed out. The service was friendly and relaxing. Our 2 nights were under separate bookings, so it was slightly annoying that our door key booked us out whilst we are at breakfast on both days. But not as bad as the 4.30am party in the room next door! Due to tiredness, we stayed in the room until 1pm, courtesy of the hotel. This hotel is clean and in a perfect location with very friendly and helpful staff.

Convieniently located for Piccadilly Station, shopping and restaurants, the hotel met our expectations. The room size was adequate and well provisioned and well serviced by the cleaning team. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature easily controlled. The TV had some problems retaining channels. We wanted to eat in the Hotel bar/restaurant on Saturday evening but the level of the music was such that it was more like a disco party than a restaurant so after mentioning this to the reception team we ate elsewhere. Breakfasts were adequate and we enjoyed our stay and would return. The reception team were very good and very helpful and welcoming.

I come down to Manchester once a month and stay at this hotel more for the convenience than anything else, normally arrive back at the hotel about 10pm and am out again at 7am, everything is in the room that I need (bed, shower etc). so am satisfied with the service from your staff.
