was great!! sorry to room service lady for spilling cranberry juice. very cool aesthetic however the room was a little cold and didn’t warm up when thermostat was adjusted, but that was fine!! people who were on the front desk were very welcoming and didn’t laugh at me when I walked off without even picking up my room key ✨

« I wasn't overly happy with the 3 nights i stayed at Manchester ibis (3-5 Portland Street) »

The room I was given was next to the the lift and I experienced various interruptions as a result of this. Tuesday night (12/03/2019) was the most expensive at nearly 3 times the normal rate, and i was disturbed at 10:30 and 02:15 due to someone knocking at the door and then running off. I mentioned this to the reception staff in case anyone else experienced the same. Also breakfast was ok however for the price I would have expected some hot food or fresh fruit.

« Not worth the money I paid »

The room was comfortable but overall I feel like it was too expensive for the quality of the hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was quite expensive (£20 for a coke and what was essentially a grilled chicken breast with fries is a lot) and the breakfast was quite disappointing. Overall, I don't believe it was worth the money I paid.

Location was good. Area was not loo noisy. Breakfast was ok but no warm food, only porridge which was not available right from the start. Nice looking hotel. Staff was helpfull.

« Great Central Location »

Location is excellent, short walk from Piccadilly Station and close to major tram stop. Easy access to city centre shops, pubs, restaurants and music venues. Hotel is in good condition, our room was comfortable, with an opening window (important to us) and heating that was easy to control. No cooked breakfast but we only occassionly have this anyway. Only reason for not giving it 10 was because the shaver socket was not working, I reported it but it wasn't fixed.

That was a nice stay in general. The only problem was the draft from the window; it was so strong that the curtains were waving. I know the breakfast is complimentary and should not be discussed))) Since I am going to stay at your hotel at least two times more (in May and June), I still hope you will provide more vegetables for breakfast, maybe just some green salad...

Generally good. But it was irritating not to be able to charge meals and drinks to the room. I suppose there is a reason, but I wonder what as every other hotel in the world seems to cope. It was also difficult to extend our stay by 24 hours.

« Worst night sleep due to paper thin walls »

I didn't sleep a second. Could hear the guy in the next room snoring like a rhinoceros who had too much to drink with a sinus infection. Then, as the light started to shine through the window, his alarm went off to the Kill Bill tune, the one that goes ding ding ding-ding ding for what felt like an eternity. I can still hear it in my head and my mental health is not what it once was. Breakfast was fine although there were no spoons so I had to eat a yogurt with a folk.

Had a issue with the TV. Was not sorted when we left day after. There is no reception desk just a massive table and upon arrival we were asked if we booked and then just left standing there. As I got paperwork out we got aknowledge we had a booking. Just all done on a mobile phone. Felt very unprofessional and no conversation made.

We stayed with you from 1st to 3rd of March and had a great experience. The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms and hotel itself were clean and quirky. We stayed for my husbands birthday and I told you that on booking, as we arrived in room there were balloons a happy birthday message and 2 complementary drinks. He was delighted so thank you very much we will definitely stay again and recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay

Quality of the hotel on acceptable level, however staff is incompetent and can't prepare/send invoice. They promised to send it as soon as possible however I don't have any document regarding my stay - during the check-out I got bill that was taken by staff with promise of delivering the invoice that didn't happen. I do not recommend anyone who travels on business and needs an invoice for the stay.
