« Good location but average room »

Location is excellent, near to the main train station and Exchange Square. Overall condition is good. However, the room is quite small, especially the toilet and entrance area. Includes free breakfast though the range is limited. The hotel restaurant is a bit pricey too.

Breakfast was too little and allways the same. A mug for toothbrush was missing. Your bar was too noisy, music was too loud so you can't have any conversation. I have a membercard, but I had to bay for luggagestore? Otherwise hotel was yes. I have sent a message to your customer service over two months ago and still waiting the answer. This is not a good service!

Easy to find just a short walk from the station. Helpful staff, reasonable breakfast and quirky decoration. Beds comfortable, but walls too thin as we could hear a lot of noise from other guests which kept us awake. Only one towel provided per person, would be good to have a hand towel as well.

Eastern European Man on Reception insisted I had to pay,when already paid on booking. No apology when he saw we had paid. Holes in wall in bedroom. No draws to place clothing,only 6 hangers in cupboard. Clean room. Shower fantastic. Overall decor good. Bar area was nice. Bar staff overall good.

« Great nights stay in central Manchester »

Very quick check in and the room had everything you need for a short stay. We were in town for a concert at the Manchester Arena and the hotel is a short easy walk from the venue. In the morning we had a very good breakfast before a short shopping trip and a five minute walk back to the station. This hotel is ideally placed for everything we needed.

« Room nice - reception chaotic »

Didn't find reception staff very welcoming - e.g told to come back when less busy/ cards debited without knowledge/ struggling of shoulders when taxi didn't turn up instead of trying to help - lots of running backwards and forwards to back office as just a table at front and phones didn't work - also hotel whilst nice was middle of a very seedy area and would not have been suitable if a woman was returning there alone at night

« It was fine. »

The stay was quite nice - the room had most things I needed and was pleasant to stay in. The breakfast was a bit disappointing and there wasn't really anything I wanted to eat. The room's temperature kept changing from warm to cold and the shower leaked after I used it which made a loud drumming sound that stopped me from getting to sleep.

Dissppointed to find room smelling strongly of cigarette snake - despite having checked in on line via the Accor app earlier in the day. Also impossible to call reception as phone just rings out from external phone and room phone.

The hotel is quirky in decor and initially this appeals. The plus side is proximity to the train station and city centre, lovely helpful staff and good showers. The negatives ,disorganised breakfast area really basic breakfast toast croissants (which were lovely) one kind of processed meat , one kind of processed cheese, coffee machine broken, run out of cups etc, staff great but no apparent order. Bar the same ran out of Prosecco, and some basics due to busy service thought a bar should welcome being busy and keep stock. Rooms compact limited storage ,no drawer space. Noisy due to thin walls . Lifts not great ended up going back up and down as couldn’t get out. I very rarely give such a review . Given this was not the cheapest in town would expect more. Premier Inn better. The staff are lovely but unfortunately none of my party of 8 would return.
