The hotel itself new, clean and cosy... Staff not at all. I was not feeling welcome... Not greeted as member of AccorHotels, didn't get any extras as silver member, just after reminder received welcome drink coupon. We stayed for two nights and after first night cleaning shampoo was not replaced as well as coffee and creamer (what I was found at 7am before departure) .Since I did online check in from my experiences check out process was fast and easy but not this time, staff member for 10 minutes kept me at the counter for deducting my member points with the help of other staff member.... So after 10 minutes he sad.. So now you can go.... I didn't get any receipt or bill....Hope to get all points for the stay... Overall I'm not happy ,you need to get serious training of customer relations take example off Liverpool Ibis Style management.

I had stayed in Mercure in the past, most of Mercure hotel are very old. This hotel is very good design, I like the room looks clean and morden. Also the lobby is very spacious. Front desk manager is very friendly. I like the location of Mercure MOA, it's closed to the super market, and restaurants in the surrounding. Public parking is easy to find a parking space. For sure I will choose this hotel again if I travel to Berlin next time.

After a couple weeks backpacking around Central Asia, and a long flight, it was a pleasure to check in to this hotel for the final night of my holiday. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to most forms of public transport, and there are plenty of services and amenities in the local area. The layout of the hotel itself is rather unusual (some would say odd), as it is necessary to go up one set of lifts for the Reception, and then another set for the rooms. The hotel appears to be located in a multi-use complex, with gyms, a shopping centre, and a car park in various places, with the rooms in the middle of it all. That said, it was quiet enough, although I was glad not to have one of the rooms which faced into the central atrium. The Reception and check in experience was smooth enough, although I wondered how the staff coped the central area was very warm without any aircon. However, they all seemed calm, cool, and collected. My room was really very nice, with a fresh white decor, amazingly bathroom and shower, comfortable bed, good wifi, and most crucially, a kettle and some nice-sized mugs. It was great to be able to sit and enjoy a nice cup of tea after a long journey. My only negative comment is that, in common with many hotels, a certain amount of detective work was required to find out which switches operated which lights. In the evening we visited the hotel bar, which was quite nice, if a bit dark. It weren't that cheap either, but service was good and reasonably cheerful. Breakfast in the morning was of the usual Mercure standard and there was good selection of items. However, the staff were a little too eager to 'used' crockery and cutlery - in fact it was a bit like being attacked by seagulls as the minute you looked away, a hand came out of nowhere and your plate was gone! I think I got through four plates, two cups, and five knives. All in all, it was good hotel. Some of its unique features gave us a good laugh, but staff are well motivated, the place is clean, and we enjoyed a comfortable stay.

As I travel quite often to Berlin and an Accor customer I am quite familiar with the different hotels of the group in town. This was my first time at the Mercure Moa and I have to say that it was a very pleasant surprise from all points of view. The infrastructure is perfect, one is 3 metro stations away from the Zoo (center of former West-Berlin), within 25 minutes one reaches Tegel Airport and a large retailer shop is within the buliding of the hotel. The rooms are large, brand new (the hotel is only 1or 2 years old) and their height - unsusual for a modern buliding - impresses and gives a comfortable feeling of space. The staff is more than happy to assist. Small details, like greeting on a personal note during one's stay and polite helpfulness in all matters were quite impressive. I shall definitely return. As I am a creature of habit I seriously consider making the Moa my favourite hotel when coming to Berlin.

I am a long term guest in this hotel and mostly everything is as expected from a 4* hotel. The service is good, rooms facing outward are comfy and bright and breakfast is amazing. However, the A/C is not really up to the task for the very hot summer days, when the in-room temperature with full A/C sometimes cannot drop under 28 degrees Celsius. Fortunately, this doesn't happen very often in Berlin. The other small "downside" happens during events: prices go up and the hotel gets overbooked which can be really felt at breakfast time or at check in / check out. Regrettable, but understandable. Still, the personnel does its best to manage considering the circumstances, so kudos to the staff!

I would never stay at this motel again. The first night the tele didn't work. Called to have a repair man, he came, twice, finally said its broken we will get you a new room. After waiting for a while I called the front desk to be told, oh we don't have any rooms and he never came to tell us that. After speaking to the receptionist and telling her that wasn't acceptable, she then moved us, after asking if I have 'used' anything in the room yet ! We had been in there for hours! It is in a terrible neighbourhood away from any shopping, historical sites, and only a few restaurants in the area. The metro is close, if you dare, we did take the metro only once, that was enough ! Honestly for what we paid we expected better, was just like a travel lodge room. We ordered a taxi at the front desk for the next morning, went down the time it was to arrive, two men in suits were given taxi's, who were just at the desk asking for one, before one of the receptionists finally stepped in and said, no I believe they ordered one last night. We actually laughed at the treatment, because we were wearing jeans and tshirts, and it was very obvious that if you weren't wearing a suit or dress and heels you were going to be treated differently. We were always polite and never tried to push in, however, the staff needed retraining in how to treat all guests equally! I honestly have never left a review before, but if you want an enjoyable motel in Berlin, look elsewhere!

on the outside the hotel looks small but once inside it is HUGE . especially when you are walking the long hallways.requested rooms to be side by side 5 days before arrival , this was not done. check in took more time. found 2 rooms side by side and the end of the earth. long walks just to the elevator. they have parking on the same floor as reception . the parking price is costy. when we finally arrived to our rooms we were shocked to find single beds , later we asked about this and were told that NO KING or QUEEN beds are available in the entire hotel. something about promoting celibacy, joke. the room temp always registered 25 degrees even when we pushed the button to lower to 19 degrees it jumped back to 25 degrees and even 30 min later he shows 25 degrees on a very hot day. over all our stay was pleasant. a lot of foreign TV channels in various languages.
