When we check in, staff said the room was not paid yet and that startled me. She took a moment to check and confirmed it’s paid. Took her long time to check in, I think it was the longest check in time I ever experienced and she forgot our welcome drink and towel. Our room number was 23xx but she told us 2nd floor. We couldn’t find the room and we had to go back to the front desk and told it was on the 3rd floor. But when we got to the 3rd floor, we met the bell boy with our luggage saying that the room is still occupied. We had to go to the front desk again and while waiting for them arranging another room, we are served with welcome drink and towel this time. We finally got our room. The pool water both in the room and public one are too cold. The drinks and snack are complimentary but not refilled everyday. I’ve used the coffee machine but the capsule was not refilled and coffee cups were not being cleaned. I like the spacious room, the breakfast buffet, the sunset view by the sea, the food at I see sky restaurant, the spa.

I had a pretty high expectations having heard so much good things about the place. But upon my arrival, the staffs at check in counter were all busy and did not feel that welcomed as a 4-5* hotel standard should be. The rooms I booked were basic (bedding was great). The pool was nice but the white couch in it is torn and old and needs to be replaced. The breakfast was OK. Overall experience is lower than my expectations.

The entire experience is top notch. The hotel design is first class however it is the service and the team that made Veranda Resort so outstanding and unforgettable. The housekeeping team left a great impression on me. They are super creative judging from the amount of time and effort investing in decorating my room. The end result transforms my entire stay to be one of most relaxing and memorable. I will certainly come back more. Lastly, please convey my appreciation to the GM Khun Ying who leads a well-knitted team and created the unbeatable service with authenticity she created that makes Veranda Resort at Pattaya

« beautiful resort but staff need more training in communication and organisation »

the resort was a beautiful place with a lovely pool and views but unfortunately the staff were disorganised and unable to organise themselves or the guests. we were initially check in to a room but when we went in there were people in the bed. my sons transfer booking was cancelled without a reason so he was left stranded at the bangkok airport and he organised his own transport. The staff were not aware of how to use the drinks vouchers and told us confusing information. if the quality of the staff improves then the resort will be 10/10 like its sister veranda in chiang mai.

Very late check in. Bad view room - book ocean view but almost not see ocean. Very smelly balcony. I cant open or sit at balcony since there are smell from kitchen (almost all tje time). You should not sell the high price room with kitchen smell!!! And my sis room (seascape - lower price) are better view and a lot better atmosphere (of course, no smell from kitchen) Having lunch at restuarant, a lot of แมลงวัน!!

Good service from all staff I met. But to mention that, - Room has cigarette smell strongly eventhough I had already let the hotel spray off for 1 time. - Breakfast had limited variety unlike Veranda Hua Hin I stayed before. - At Check-out, I was asked if I smoked in the room? Ain’t it funny? No recommendation for my friends for sure. My 1st & last time.

The staff was friendly and professional (but not enough of them at check-in and check-out). The room was on the small side, but very clean and restful with a great balcony and a large bathroom. However, the bathroom didn't have a separate door for the commode rendering the large bathroom useless if someone needed to use the commode. Dinner was esquisite with a great view, tasty, well presented items and a efficient staff. Breakfast buffet was a let down. While there was a variety of items, most were cold or at least on the less than desirable temperature I prefer to eat, especially the eggs. The eggs were so cold they were inedible and I had to special order in order to get hot eggs - which the chef graciously accomadated my request. In the future, we will stay at a different Accor brand hotel most likely.

My friend and I stayed at the Veranda Pattaya from 29 Dec 18 to 1 Jan 19. We had a fabulous time at your hotel. We understand that it's the peak time for the holiday so there were many customers but the hotel staff worked very hard and very helpful. We had a chance to join the New Year's Eve Party and it's amazing. We really enjoyed the party. The staff has put a tremendous effort to organise the party. We thank them so much. We love the breakfast, so much variety of food. The restaurants, Isea Sky and the Jetty, are gorgeous. Our room is so beautiful. We will definitely go back to the Veranda!

I would like to complain about the services of Veranda Resort Pattaya. I was checked in with my family to the resort on Saturday under booking number: GWVSDNTQ. An extra person was added on spot and I paid extra 1500 THB for the person. However, there are no amenities add-on for the 3rd person (towel, toothbrush, etc.). Moreover, the television is unavailable (unable to switch on), the call has been made to the front desk and take another 30mins for the person to come in and told us to wait for another person to take a look. Another 2 guys come in and replace the television in the room and IT'S STILL NOT WORKING. The fixing is done on the first round and again it's not working again and need to switch the television again. It took more than an hour for this. There is no apology or anything on this kind of thing which should not happen under the hotel in Accor brand. Moreover, once I complain during my checkout, the front desk only be able to tell me that if need to change the television it will take around 1 hrs. But again, do I need to pay for such a big amount of money to wait for the hotel to change the television and no compensate or an apology from the resort. Again, I wrote this email to complain about the services of the hotel including the service mind of the staff who unable to respond with the good attitude to the customer. Hope to hear an explanation from the resort soon.

Room layout does not allow for full rest nor bathroom privacy. Light floods the room at night, sounds from shower, sink and toilet usage are heard at anytime. It's only restful for single guests.
