« Good location for night-life and restaurants »

Walking distance to station and attractions around Namba. Room size may be an issue if you have many cases or like to spread out but adequate for us (2 bags and 2 snow skis). Easy to control air-conditioning - I could not get english TV - but did not try too hard as we spent little time indoors. Breakfast was better than most Ibis's I have stayed in.

Being a platinum member, I asked for early check in and was not disappointed. Then asked for breakfast boxes for me and my wife, due to early flight in the morning, and the staff arranged everything beyond expectation. We did not expect to receive small gifts (two packs of foot bathing products, two bags of local Japanese snacks and two additional bottles of water), we were pleasantly surprised. The front desk speak a fair English, so we did to manage to communicate well. The only bad thing was the centralized air condition, way too hot and dry, we tried to switch it to cold air, but it did not work. We stayed only 1 night, so we did not bother to inform the staff. Overall we recommend the hotel to everybody.

« The condition of the room made us sicked. »

The room was too dry and although we already turned on humidifier, the air from the heater Was seems not right and makes us sicked everytime we cameback to the room. Breakfast from the hotel for moslem was not really have a choice. Once, we came for breakfast with our own side dishes, but the lady does not allowed us to eat that. So we have to throw it away.

We stayed in a triple room. The room is big enough ( in terms of Japanese standard). The bed itself is pretty small. The location is excellent, within few minutes walk to restaurants, shops, etc. There is a coin laundry service, which is friendly to family and long-stay travelers. Breakfast is included in the room charge, and the quality is better than we expected.

« Good service, some improvements suggested »

The service was really good and breakfast was really good. I have, however a few comments that I hope Ibis and AccorHotels can do better in the future: 1. No Online Check In available at Ibis Osaka Namba, causing inconvenience and the hotel was unable to know that our arrival time 2. There were only Centralised Air Conditioning available in the hotel, and unfortunately the room temperature in the rooms were too hot 3. I have concerns over the low number of AccorHotel branded hotels in Japan. As an Australian based member who is used to have dozens of AccorHotels in our major cities, it was disappointing that in a big city of Osaka AccorHotels only have 3 accommodation options available. Our trips included Wakayama and Kobe, and unfortunately we had to book other hotel brands because AccorHotels were not available. I hope the regional manager of AccorHotels in Japan can have a serious look into this and consider acquiring some local Japanese hotel brands or acquire more properties so that we will be able to have more options to stay with AccorHotels in Japan.

Service and food were very good, rooms are very clean.However it seems that the rooms had centralised air conditioning. It was winter and it seems all rooms have heating on thus it was a bit too hot.

great location, though the train station is a short walk away, the hotel is surrounded by plenty of food options around the hotel. 7-11 was next to the lobby, very convenient. breakfast though repeated alternate days, was fresh and delicious. rooms are relatively bigger than the rest we seen so far. bottled waters are not provided but you can get them easily at 7-11. the amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body shower) are of good quality (shisedo amentities) and i didnt have to worry about tangled hair ends. overall great experience, would stay here again when i return to osaka

The staff at the front desk and Osaka Restaurant are really nice. The room is very tiny, maybe a typical thing in Japan but I have been to Ibis Styles in Sapporo and the one in Osaka is nowhere near that.

« Enjoyable stay in the bustling Namba district »

Room was comfortable and hotel very well located. Services provided were a little basic, no resturaunt or bar, Osaka kitchen while food was good the atmosphere was a bit sterile. Reception area a bit sterile also. The great location however did mean we had a very enjoyable stay in Osaka

Great service, great room, but the room door automated shut is to hard, so when people close their doors it make very loud sound like ghey are slamming the door. Can be annoying when you were asleep and people keep open and closing the door.

« Cozy hotel in a good location »

Room was tiny but cozy and clean. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was adequate, however the long queue in the morning at opening time was not tolerable. The opening time of 7am is too late, it should have been earlier at 6am to cater for tourists and working people who need to have an early start to the day.

« The room is horrible. »

The staff is good and provided all the information and the check-in and check-out is great. I have been a Accor-Advantage member for 10 years, this is the first time I have a bad feedback for Accor hotels. The room is horrible: 1. The bath room was choked and it flooded to outside the bath tube when you take your bath. 2. The room has no air-con, only heater, air circulation is very bad. 3. The room is too clamp to put 4 small beds, and call it a room for 4 persons. Sorry, I need to be honest. First time I am writing a poor feedback for accor-hotel
