I reserved a queen plus room with ibis styles namba. in at 1130pm was swift and we were given a room on the 4th floor. Upon opening the door the room was hot as air conditioner was turned off and the room smelt old. The walls and amenities require a massive refurbishment. I know Ibis is meant to be a budget hotel, but staying at different Ibis’s around the globe, this by far was the worst. Hope management is able to look into this to retain a good experience for customers

Comfortable stay as can be expected from Ibis style hotel. The location is outstanding just right at the Dotonbori area, 24hrs Donki, and late night restaurants are all around. Convenient store at the ground of the hotel. Attractions and stations are in walking distance. Was upgraded to the bigger room, more spaces, and amenities provided. Weight scale for luggage available at the lobby. Hotel's parking also available but limited for car size, should check with the hotel first. Overall is good however, due to its location I may not recommend for family with kids or whoever not preferred a lively district with crowded.

Being a silver loyalty member is really a privilege as am allowed to check in early after an overnight flight. I didn’t sleep on the 6 hour flight at all and when I arrived at the hotel at 10.30 am I was so tired and when the Indonesian front desk receptionist who spoke fluent Japanese and English who is full of smile and made me feel so welcomed .. he checked me in and told me the room is ready I was so grateful. I managed to get some sleep and rest before I start exploring the city yet again. It’s my third stay at the hotel , I like how convenient the location is , near the Namba station , the subway, eateries and shopping. Love Osaka and the hotel makes it better every time when I visit this awesome city.

Overall we had a decent experience with the IBIS Styles Osaka. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. The location was very good. Being a platinum member, we were given choices of welcome drinks to choose and also breakfast was provided free of charge. We booked DELUXE ROOM WITH 4 SINGLE BEDS for 5 nights. The room size was good given the tiny space in Japan. We would like to help the planet and aimed to have our bedsheets changed every 2-3 days. To our surprise, the bed was hardly made after our first night. bathrobes on the bed were just left there untouched. On the second night, we put the sign to change the bedsheets and everything was neater, but was not as good as another IBIS Styles we stayed in Japan. We tried again not changing the bedsheet and you could guess that the bed was not made up again! Even worse, a glass was left uncleaned and water bottles were not refilled. The hotel should inform all the guests that if you would like your bed or room to really be clean, you must put the sign to change your bedsheets. Otherwise, the cleaning staff would not bother to make up your bed properly. We doubt that the floor was vacuumed often. Luckily the bathroom was clean. For breakfast, food was decent with limited variety. You would run into the same food again after the third day. The hotel should just remove the priority line as it was not honored. I was standing in the priority line but a guest in the other line was served first. I was certain that guests in front of me were not even a member of Le Club as the staff offered them to sign up.

We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were clean, modern and of a decent size for Japanese standards. Bed was comfortable and the additional aircon was very welcome as it was 38c when we visited! The location was it’s best feature. Walking distance to major attractions and subway means that day trip out were easy. The ‘in-house’ 7-11 and drug store was also very useful. Breakfast choices and variety between days could be better.

We stayed for one night. We had walking access to the most touristy area of Osaka. Also easy to get a taxi from. Somewhat small rooms but it was OK for one night.

Good location. Staff were nice and helpful. Bathroom was a bit smelly. I was hanging DND sign and was expecting extra towel to be put in front of my door without cleaning my room.

Staff is helpful and polite but room itself especially cleaning is a bit disappointed. I found some tissues on my bed after someone tidy up the room. It was totally our of my expectation. I intended to ask for changing to another room but didn't do that as I was too tired at that night

Location is perfect. Close to shops and japanese restaurants, train and taxi. Service by the staff is good. They have a small room, with safe, fridge, kettle for hot water, toiletries, hair dryer, slippers. No closet but there are coat hangers. Restaurant is at 15th floor, overlooking the surrounding area, well lit and big space for diners. They have limited breakfast choices but quantity and service of the staff is superb. Receptionists speak good english.

Sometimes smell smoke in the room, may be comes from others in the same floor. I booked two rooms but don't know why one of my room is smaller than the other. There are many mold and hair stick in the toilet.

Great location, convenient for transportation, 7-11 downstairs. The upgraded room was superb and provided an excellent end to our holiday. Many thanks! Just one small suggestion - when the room a/c was turned on the bathroom got very cold. Perhaps adjust the settings.
