Friendly and very helpful stuff, speaks good English, good breakfast very organized, right next to 7-11 and many restaurants. Walking distance to train station, shopping and attractions. One of the best Ibis Styles I have stayed so far.

Breakfast was crowded but staff handled with smile and system. Front desk did not update my gold card status, maybe due to Accor update system error ? Can be improved if bottles of water can be given daily.

« Good hotel, but disappointed with the experience. »

Whilst i appreciated the recognition of loyalty when given an upgrade, the result was far from satisfactory. We were upgraded from a room with a double bed (for 2 of us) to a large room with 4 double beds. First of all, you were able to see from the booking that we were 2 persons requiring one bed, why would an upgrade to a room with 3 extra beds be of any use to us? Not only was the majority of the space useless to us, we found the room layout and design uncomfortable unwelcoming. Secondly, a room of this size was much colder and the air conditioning/heating system was dysfunctional. when this issue was raised at the check in counter, one of your staff quickly told me the hotel was full and there were no alternatives. Your staff were extremely polite at all time so this isn't a poor reflection on them at all. We understood that at that point, if the hotel was full, their hands were tied. Ultimately, this "upgraded" room we were given created a poor experience for us. We felt it was more of a downgrade to what felt like a cold, dark uninviting dormitory. We are extremely disappointed that for a traveling couple, you felt that putting us in this room would improve our experience when it did the complete opposite.

this stay was so great. Staffs were all friendly and helpful. There was a smartphone in the room that you can use it to make phone calls and surfs the net, it was really convenient. Although the breakfast was almost the same every day, it was delicious. I'll recommend my friends to stay in Osaka Ibis style hotel surely.

« Nice hotel great location »

Would definitely stay at this hotel again. We were informed that they would eventually change their air-conditioning system since you could not control the A/C in the room so you would get warm air since they are the ones regulating the room temp if it's cold outside. Other than that, no complaints about the service, the breakfast food, and the location. The best scrambled eggs i have had at a hotel!

We experienced many bad and under expectation things. Firstly, there are no drinking water supplied in the rooms during my 4 night stay. I have to request but the hotel supply bottle of drinking water on first day of stay. The room did not well cleaning. Front officers seem not friendly willing to service. On the third night of my stay the warm water supply was downed. I have to wait for an hour in the late cold night to take a shower. However, the breakfast service is good.

« As a Le Accor Platinum Member, this is the WORST experience that I had in my entire hotel experience. »

Whilst I try to convince myself to spare from posting a thorough review of my stay at your hotel at hotel review sites such as Agoda, Booking.com and Hotel, I try to practice self-restraint because I am waiting for this questionnaire. Seriously, you have to improve your service and facilities. I could comprehensively give the points where you need to improve but I would like to summarize as stated below: 1. You need to add more manpower during peak hours. I am a Platinum Member but I have to wait hours before checking-in. 2. You have to set standards to room maintenance. The aircon was not working and the toilet was not clean. I arrived with hair strands on the bed and in the walls of the toilet. That was so gross. The housekeeping team should need to check and work this thoroughly. 3. It is disgusting to see that other guests were just leaving their trash in the hallways of each floor. This is a cardinal sin of attaining that goeal of keeping a Le Accor hotel CLEAN and SANITIZED. 4. Remind housekeeping to not block the walkway en route to hotel rooms. I have never felt that I am a Platinum Member during my stay. These circumstances were really of a surprised to me because I have stayed to so many Le Accor brands but iBis styles FELL SHORT with my expectations. I will give separate reviews on other sites as well.

« A waste of money for our anniversary »

I’ve visited Japan before and I usually stay in the cheapest hotels I can find. However this time it was our anniversary so we decided to spend a bit more towards our first stop in Japan (for this trip). The hotel was very average. The reception were rude to each other in front of guests. And one of the receptionists dropped my heavy suitcase on my toes (by accident but still hurt). The bathroom ventilation was so horrible you would be having trouble breathing and sweating by the time you wipe youreself dry, which means you can’t apply makeup until you’re outside! The sheets were also dirty (I saw the same stain on our sheets over the 4 nights we stayed there and the cleaners came to our room every day). Overall I suggest to save your money and book somewhere cheaper because you’ll get the same outcome. Only positive thing about this hotel is the location (close to dotonbori) and the breakfast option (if you choose breakfast, get in early because a line for a table will take place the later you go).

« Great experience... but one small issue. »

It was a great stay in ibis Styles, as always. Friendly staff, great restaurant (love the express pass for Platinum Members!) with abundant food choices, comfortable room and a convenient location! The 7-11 was certainly a plus for those late night bento cravings. Haha The only issue was the air-conditioning. Across all our 3 rooms, the temperature was not able to be adjusted - which made for a very uncomfortable night stay. The first night, all of us woke up sweating - to find that the AC was blowing out heated air. This made at least one in out party sick, as the condition in the room was quite unbearable. I have noticed this an issue in East Asian hotels, i.e. Novotel Daegu. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay.

My first impression with this hotel is excellent, we are staying for 4 nights. The staff were helpful and very kinds explain everything for the facilities. But one thing make us very disappointed is for the cleanliness my room. The 2nd day when i'm back to my room from city tour i'm not checking the bed and everything because very tired, but the next day i just realized that my room very dirty, hairs in the bed and i thing the house keeping only put the cover without clean it. No bottle of water. I call the receptionist and complaining about the room condition. A man from receptionist bring me 2 bottles of water and apologize for my complaint. I just show everything include the bed conditions and he was shocked for the dirty at my bed. He promise me that will change the linen that night but i asking for tomorrow because very tired and need rest. The breakfast was good. Overall i'm very happy for staying at this hotel.
