« Tiny room, poor layout, nothing nice except location »

The room is really awful to be honest. Immediately upon walking in I was disappointed with the tiny cramped space that was dominated by the large staircase. The shower and toilet are separate rooms, not a bathroom and open into the entrance. Water from the shower floods the walkway when opening the door. The vanity is so tiny there is barely space to put a toothbrush beside the basin. The couch is rock hard and the tv is under the staircase. Its hardly a nice comfy place to relax. There is no storage at all, nowhere to put suitcases, just an open hanger in the entrance. The bedroom is tiny, with no space either side of the bed and the mattress is on the floor, not on a bed base or frame. You have to climb into bed from the bottom of bed. Is this a backpackers? Where did they get 4 stars from? This is barely a 3 and the very worst hotel I've ever had the misfortune of staying in for business, let alone leisure. I asked for an earlier checkout than my booked stay, but the hotel refused, depsite the fact that in this busy F1 period they could have got substantially more for the room than the rate I paid when booked months in advance.

Overall average stay - lacking essentials in room - sufficient toiletries, towels, teabags, milk etc for 2 persons not just one - we did book for 2!!! Breakfast buffet was hit or miss - not refreshed so much not available for later diners. Not enough towels and sunbeds at pool Staff mostly friendly with one or two exceptions!!!

« Modern and contemporary comfort in the perfect location! »

We booked the executive loft suite for our 5 night stay. From the check-in in the premium guests lounge to the check out where concierge took the time to give us some tips on what to do at the airport, everything was superb. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was roomy and bright with great views and good amenities however the mattress was in need of replacing as it collapsed in the middle which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. The premium lounge was an added luxury which we enjoyed immensely and the pool was wonderful although could do with more lounge chairs as it was often full. Location was perfect and within such a short walk to the MRT station and stones throw from the Bugis markets and Bugis junction.

« pretty disappointing »

the housekeeping was minimal - I did not ever receive washcloths, and I never received a new handtowel after the first day. The room itself did not have any closet or drawers in order to store any of my clothes. I had them all piled up on the floor for 5 days. thats not really acceptable for business travel. I actually was so displeased with the room that I wanted to check out early and stay at another hotel, but the front desk told me that due to the Formula one race I would have to pay for all of the days anyway. I would not stay at the location again.

Nice, clean and comfy hotel. Things to get better in: logistics in breakfast are bad. The area between the omelette station and counter are too tight. Please re-think the layout of the counters better.

This is a clean and pleasant hotel, with a nice bar, good rooms and I would stay again. Amusingly they took the deposit and charged on my card several days in advance even though it was pay at the hotel but then they forgot to mark my room as credit and wanted me to pay in the restaurant for my breakfast on the spot. The issue was quickly solved by the staff and I think they were a bit surprised and confused that the charge had been taken in advance.
