Thanks for the GM of the hotel for looking after us and making us guest of the day. The room was immaculate and location was good. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant and facilities were top class.

In-house systems poor and don’t recognise loyalty

As a gold ALL member, I booked 3 rooms for friends and listed myself as guest room 1. Two days out I received a text message from the hotel in the name of one of the other room holders mentioning her gold status and asking what welcome amenity she would like. I thought nothing of it. On arrival to the hotel late evening, they told me that all bookings with under traveller 3s name and not mine. Despite me being traveller one, and my credit card paying for all 3 rooms! I called front desk the following morning after arriving in my room and the TV showing traveller 3s name on it, and traveller 2 reporting a welcome amenity of chocolates and bottled water in their room. A total mess up by this hotel. Front desk unable to resolve so we checked out after a mess of a stay. This hotel does not know how to accurately account for loyalty nor do they know how to rectify their errors prior to check out.

The room had a large wooden structure suitable for use as a wardrobe, but it was mainly all blocked off, meaning no drawers and limited hanging space. OK for a short stay perhaps if you don't unpack. But the toilet door does not reach the ceiling so you'll hear your companion's every move - most unsettling.

The property is pleasant, however the experience was clunky. I asked for a double bed at check in, and received twin singles. Needed to go back and wait 15 minutes to rectify. Breakfast was included on my booking, however the restaurant was not aware and made me sign a docket. Had dinner in the restaurant, choice of tables was poor and areas of the restaurant were closed. Overall it was fine, however its not a smooth experience.
