« Convenient if you have meetings nearby »

This hotel is convenient if you have meetings nearby. Breakfast is mainly for Chinese. Nearby shopping center and outlet, 10 minutes' walk and western café etc. In general it is O.K for one night, while western breakfast is better to look outside the hotel.

« worst experience i had with Accor Hotels »

This is the worst stay I ever had in an Accor Hotel. Traffic in front the hotel is bad, there is nearly no heat in the room, food is terrible.

« Nice place in Shanghai »

Nice hotel with walking distance to Metro. Ask the reception for short cut walk way to Metro. If not, will be quite a long distance to walk to Metro. Room is spacious and clean. The reception is very friendly and provide us with welcome drink as we are member of Le Club Accorhotels.

I stayed in Accor Hotels for so many times before in Europe and Japan and every booking were fine and with good services so the first hotel which comes to my mind to book when I decided to go to shanghai, I searched on your app. I have experienced the worst booking ever since! I made my booking on your hotel app, it said payment will be collect at the hotel. The night before I arrive, I received an SMS from my bank and said AIP HANTING HOTEL has collect CNY548 from my card, I looked for that hotel on the internet and it is not the one I have booked, I emailed and ask but no reply then I have asked my friends in Shanghai to call to confirmed. You should have let me know when I make the booking that you will take deposit from my card under which hotel name, I didn't know that Accor is under that group in china. Also, when I arrived the hotel, staff said there is only one room left and that room look completely different from what I have booked on the app. The room supposed to be around CNY 2300 for 5 nights, and they requested me to pay CNY 3000. Can you explain what rule is that? You took deposit from my credit card already and I have to pay more deposit when I have checked in?? I have never experienced booking any hotel like this before, if they said payment at the hotel then they wouldn't charge until I arrived, if they need to take deposit, they will inform me but your hotel hasn't! Before this happened, I always recommend Accor Group hotels to my friends and family, but after this experience in Shanghai, I don't think I will ever again!

Lucky my room was newly renovated. Reception staffs were unfriendly and not professional Should add one more door to the bathroom area as I stay with my colleague which really have not much privacy

Very welcome and helpful staff, very good cleaning, everything was tidy and shiny after cleaning. I would recommend to have wet dip cleaning for the carpet in the room as it’s smely ( dust + previous guest smel + stains). I also noticed that fridge is getting off when I take out card and leave the room however I left yoghurt inside.

« THE WORST ACCOR HOTEL THAT I HAVE VISITED INTHE WORLD !!!!! »

I have spent about 100 nights this year in an Accor Hotel ! This one is from far the worst one : - Nobody speaks English - Just at the door of the hotel in the private parking a guy propose ladies for special massage !!!! - Breakfast is of a very poor quality : eggs are cooked hours before ... - Impossible to have a meal in the hotel. There is only one Japanese restaurant which is not managed by the Mercure. I had one dinner there and the food is very bad, I have been sick. - Impossible to order a taxi ... The 3 nights spent in this hotel were a nightmare. NEVER AGAIN - IT IS A SHAME !!!!!!

« Not particularly memorable »

I have been to many hotels in Shanghai and this stay wasn't the most memorable. The room I stayed in, although quite large had many stains as did the bathroom. The breakfast is FAR from the quality i have observed in other Accor hotels in China. The bar does not have any food option and looks pretty much dead in the evening. Unfortunately, there is also no business around to go to to look for other options.

I did not expect and was very disappointing with the room condition for the price paid. Thought I have booked a Budget hotel with very basic setup. Would not consider returning to stay for the price paid.

Although the hotel is a smoke free hotel, there is cigarette small from the air con duct emitting from next room. Shows lack of enforcement of no smoking by hotel guest.

Overall is OK, but experienced again some guests smoking at their doorstep creating a smelling corridor. Very unfortunate to see this happening in a Mercure Hotel.

The hotel room was clean but slightly aged. The air conditioning was not working and when i tried to make a complain to the front desk they just said it's what it is since it was central air. The following day I made the complain again coz the room air was hot and still. They finally sent a maintenance over at my insistence and when the maintenance came he checked the temperature and informed us while walking away that he will open the ventilation bigger and left without saying anything else. The room was cooler after he left but no one called to check that the problem was resolved. Staff was not helpful when i tried to store my bags after checking out and was told to leave the bags at the concierge. When i asked about a ticket for the storage the reception staff rolled her eyes at me and proceeded to ignore me and talked in to the walkie. When i return to collect the luggage again there was no one at the concierge and when i approach the reception I was ignored once again. Fed up with the attitude I just took the luggage and left. They never asked for my ticket to retrieve the luggage. I wondered what would have happened if someone just took my luggage. Overall bad service was the highlight of my trip. Expected more friendly service at accor. Will never stay at the hotel again.
