« Great hotel but lets itself down by the small details »

Fabulous room on Club floor but cleaning wasn't always attended to properly. Club lounge was also good in terms of comfort, food and the view over Bangkok from the 24th floor. The staff however failed to control what went on at times e.g.- a very noisy guest with 5 children running around and the guest shouting at his wife across the room about an unrelated issue. Another time there were children running and jumping on sofas - without any intervention from staff. Spa staff were very attentive and provided excellent services. The pool, although small was perfectly adequate for short amounts of time. Downstairs - the Lobby area lacked an intimate bar to enjoy a drink. The bar that was there had an over amplified band playing every night just a few feet from the tables and actual bar. The door staff - one man in particular were very helpful and warm.

The front desk receptionist is talkative and fluent English. Staff are polite with smile and bell boy is helpful. The room is clean. The breakfast is plentiful. However, I found the decoration is start cracking and the furniture is a bit old and the air condition is a bit noise during my stay, i guess this is due to ageing of the hotel. I enjoy with my stay in overalls.

Our stay was fantastic, from the moment we walked in the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Our room was beautiful and the cleaning staff were extremely hospitable! our only 2 faults were that when we went to the pool there were no towels, i asked upstairs at the spa and one of the staff came down gave me a couple towels then went back upstairs, i would have thought he could have topped up the basket so that the next guest didn't arrive to the same thing... only other fault was the air freshener in the elevator lobby was VERY strong and perhaps a bit off putting, however all other areas were fresh and pleasant.

Though it is a short stay, I did not have to worry about having no water/beverage. It was all provided and the hotel even complimented it with six beverages from the mini bar and a complimentary drink from the pub. I was also welcomed with fruits. Everything was well taken care for. Everything which I need can be found in the room. I had problem opening the door using the access card. Checked with the staff over the counter and she even accompanied me to my room after verifying the issue

« Easy access though not direct access »

I chose the hotel for its location. It is close to MRT but we need to cross a busy road, as we thought there is direct access to MRT from pedestrian walk. Room was spacious to accommodate 3 persons and staffs were very helpful. Great breakfast too!

The hotel is lovely and the staff is very friendly. The buffet breakfast was incredible! The only feedback I can give is that each evening there is a terrible smell in the lobby. I believe it may be from the restaurant, but it is so strong, I had to leave the lobby immediately. My colleagues found a different hotel due to the smell.

« Pleasant stay, could be better »

Having "checked in online" I was surprised to have to go through another very lengthy check-in process with paperwork, passport checks etc. If online check-in doesn't work with the tourist regulations of a country like Thailand, you shouldn't offer online check-in...it was a waste of time. Otherwise, room was very comfortable and breakfast was good. There was a rather unfortunate smell in the public areas...seemed like drains, may have been the air pollution in Bangkok which was bad at the time we stayed.

« Short Stay. Wish I could have stayed longer »

I didn't stay at the hotel very long, just two nights. I can't comment on most of the amenities from the hotel other than the room. The room was great, spacious. I had plenty of room to work. The bed was soft and I slept well. The shower was nice and hot. I wish that the English of the desk staff was a little better. There was a bit of a mix up at check in. But other than that, there were no problems. If given the opportunity to stay at the hotel again, I would be happy to do so. I would definitely recomend the hotel to friends thinking about staying in BKK
