We were welcomed at our car, our baggage removed and our car whisked away by Vincent and met by Marie-Eugenie who gave us a superb welcome and explanation of the hotel and the sites to see in Toulouse. Marie booked tickets for a visit to the Airbus factory. She certainly deserves special mention. We had dinner on in your Michelin Star restaurant which was superb in every way - food and service. Each morning we had a breakfast that you come to expect when staying at a MGallery/Sofitel hotel. On our last evening we had a snack with our drinks in the courtyard where the snack was a disppointment and the only criticism we make. On our departure we were again helped greatly by Marie-Eugenie and Martin with our bags.

We stayed two nights in the Suite Comtal. What a treat! Initially, we were planning to go into town for dinners, but the setting at the Castel is so beautiful that we tried it the first night and then could not resist a second night. Everyone was super kind and also knowledgeable about the area.

We checked in to one of your rooms at the top of the hotel. Huge room with a strange layout. Toilet was separate from the bathroom and quite a distance from the bathroom. There was no window to view the city. It felt like a prison. Your staff kindly moved us to a smaller room the next day with large windows and a view of the inner courtyard.

The hotel was clean, modern, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We did find the housekeeping service to be mixed. We ran out of tissues on one day, and toilet paper on another, and did not find the supplies to be refilled. We also were given 1 towel for three guests on the second day. We were also surprised that housekeeping service did not clear away the two empty bottles we had used from the minibar, and we had to discard those ourselves. Nor did they take the used glasses and replace them. Besides that, the hotel seemed to be of a high standard, and everyone who assisted us was very accommodating and professional.

Very enjoyable. A lovely hotel. Great staff. Perfect croque monsuier. Very nice champagne. We were only in transit for one night on our way to the Canal du Midi. Looked after extremely well. My only criticism would be the shower. A good shower in 132 but needs a hob to stop the water coming out on the floor.

Nice property poor concierge/front desk

The concierge/front desk staff should receive further training and knowledge relating to Toulouse. When we checked in we inquired about reserving a taxi the next morning because we had a train reservation at 8:45am. We were told that UBER works well and is better than a taxi in Toulouse. An hour before our train was scheduled to depart, UBER would not confirm a ride. So we asked the staff to order a taxi. They stated it would be 15minutes. After 15 minutes there was no taxi. I proceeded to flag an empty taxi. As we were preparing to load the bags your staff told the taxi driver that they had ordered a taxi already and not to take us. At 8:30 I requested the taxi to be canceled because maps showed a 20min commute and the train departs at 8:47. Staff denied the request. 16 minutes before our train was scheduled to depart the taxi showed up. I told the staff I do not want to go because I would have to sit in the train station for hours waiting on the next departure. Your staff assured me the taxi could get there in time and we would make the train. We arrived at the train station 7 minutes after the train departed. Instead of waiting at the hotel and leaving out bags there we had to wait at the train station and take a train that arrived 3 hours later than our original. Furthermore, one of your staff member found the predicament funny, as she was laughing as we left. While your staff cannot control traffic, a better trained and professional staff should know that taxi’s and ubers are scarce and they should have reserved a pickup with ample time instead of telling us there would be no problems. They should have also never sent the taxi I hailed away and they should not lie and tell us a taxi can get us to the train station and us make it to a train platform with bags in less than 15minutes. Your staff is not reflective of the services your hotel advertises.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. I sincerely regret to read that you find a problem with the check out and taxi service. This situation was a succession of misunderstanding between us that we sincerely deplore. In Toulouse, traffic is very bad almost every morning and it’s unfortunately not rare that, even if the taxi is booked in advance, there is some delay. This is why we usually recommend to book a private transfer (through us at the reception or with Uber). I am really sorry that when you checked in you took this recommendation for a refusal to order the driver for you. She simply meant to offer you both choice. The ”empty” taxi that you saw in front of the hotel, was already booked for another guest elsewhere in the same street. We never asked him not to take you but it was the driver itself, who didn’t speak English, who told us that he couldn’t take you. By no manner of means we would stop you to get the first taxi available to be sure you would arrive on time. When the driver finally arrived, our staff asked the taxi driver if there was enough time to go to the train station from the hotel, and he told us that it would be fine. Our team told you then to take the taxi. We just wanted as well as you did, that you will get your train on time. I am very concerned to read your remarks concerning our staff laughing about the situation. I am sure that this is a misunderstood. We strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer and we are definitely not here to laugh at bad situation. I would like once again to apologize for all the inconvenience that you have met as I perfectly understand how unpleasant the situation may have been for you. Should you ever come back to Toulouse, please do not hesitate in contacting me directly. We would be more than happy to welcome you again. I’m staying at your full disposal. Nice hotel in the center of Toulouse but the room they gave us was next to an electric generator that was humming the whole night, the handles of the faucets came off, the shower leaked water everywhere and since we had to go early to the airport the next day, there was no food available... Having said that, the staff at the reception desk were very friendly and welcoming....
