« Not as good as such should be. Mecure hotels should be better than this. »

I stayed at this hotel for 12 nights Room was exactly what I was expecting and so no complaints with that. The biggest issue is that there is no proper path to the hotel. Access is using an unmade road which is full of potholes. This means that when it rains (as it did during my stay) you have to walk through mud. This means if you walk out of the hotel your shoes and trousers get dirty walking to the RER station. I think that this is very poor for a hotel chain such as Accor to not to address this. It also prevents you from walking the 0.5 km to the RER with your suitcase and you have to get a taxi. Your website states that the RER is in walking distance but does not tell you that you will not be able to walk there with your suitcase and you will get covered in mud. The breakfast was adequate although a bit inconsistent in what was available each day. Sliced bread for toast was invariably stale and not replaced with fresh everday. The hot food was not very good. I have much better breakfasts at other Mecure and Ibis hotels. There also seems to be a shortage of coathangers at the hotel. I was staying for 12 nights and had 3 coathangers. I asked for some more but was told that there were no more available. I found this surprising I stayed in a superior room which had a nespresso machine. Normally there were three and sometimes two capsules. If you run out, the hotel staff are not able to provide more if the house keeper is not there As you can tell from my comments I am not that impressed with the hotel. In the near future I am going to stay there again with my wife for two nights Feb and I am not looking forward to it. I had pre-paid for the room. I wish I had not because otherwise I would have cancelled the booking.

« Good, but not perfect »

My stay was good, but not perfect. The bed was to hard and the room was very small with the television on a side wall. The weather was not so good and the walk from the RER station to the hotel (because of rain and snow) was wet and dirty because there is no proper pedestrian side walk only a dirt road. Because of this, currently my preferable stay would be in the Center of St Germain in the new IBIS hotel. Br.

Hotel was good, nice to have bottled water provided on first night of stay in the room, could improve the service by replacing when staying for more than one night. Tea/coffee in room is also a nice touch. Only negative with regards to the stay was that afterwards I received an email to say I had been registered in the club accor programme? which I did not request. I am already a member but in this instance I did not booked directly as I did not wish to pay in euros.

I stay at this hotel for business every couple of months. Usually it is OK but this time I did not enjoy the stay. The room had no Kleenex tissue left in the bathroom, coffee sticks were dirty, no sweetner (only full sugar). In the very early morning, noise of other guests walking with luggage on the concrete path was too loud to sleep.

The building is not the main one, but an other which is old (the elevator seems to be one of a horror movie). Inside of the building is not clean. The room was clean but it was really freezing. Not a good experience at all. I put 4 because the staff was welcoming, but that is the only good point...

Hotel is ok, room is ok, but if you propose room service you should deliver room service: after two calls to room service with no answer and a third call to reception with promise I'd be called back within minutes... nothing. Pretty frustrating.

This was a perfect place to get out of the city center bustle. The hotel was at the end of the RER A. The hotel was comfortable with clean rooms and lots of amenities. The hotel grounds were nicely landscaped and I could imagine myself there during the summer. It snowed the first day after we arrived (November) and it was beautiful

« Nice room. I got what I payed for. »

The only remarks were: 1. The waiter in the restaurant was good enough, but a little uprofessional. 2. There was a need for a footstool in the bathroom so normal short people could sit on the high handicap toilet. 3. The feet became muddy in front of the hotel. At all other points was a very nice stay.

My room was in an annex which was in effect an adjacent block of flats, very insecure because it could be accessed during the day without going through the hotel reception. There was no lock on the outside door of the annex. My room was on the ground floor with a row of dustbins immediately outside the window. It smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. The bed was very hard.

The bed was extremely hard and I had to put down 3 blankets + the mattress pad to make it soft enough to actually sleep on. I spoke to the front desk staff who said they would speak to the manager and absolutely nothing got done. I also asked for a Superior room upon booking and was told that none were available, months ahead of time, yet when a colleague booked a week or so before he got a really nice room. I'm not sure what the deal is or why I was treated badly but I won't be staying at that hotel again. Also, try installing air conditioning, as other hotels in the area have done, you might actually get return customers to the hotel.

« A standard hotel experience at a premium price »

Hotel was acceptable but is quite expensive, so one would have expected a premium experience. The room was rather small, mostly filled by a firm but pretty comfortable bed. Linen was clean and crisp, but towels have clearly been in use for some time (they were clean - just old). Breakfast was OK with a good selection of full and continental breakfast offerings, albeit again fairly expensive (surprisingly, it wasn't included with the room). Back to the room: there was a small fridge, with just 1 bottle of water. Wasn't clear if this was free or chargeable. The wardrobe had only two or three hangers, none of which could be used for trousers (just shirts/jackets/coats). No chair in the room, though there was a small, low bench under the TV that you couldn't sit on. No desk, and nowhere to place a suitcase other than on the floor or the bed. Lastly, the bed was on a kind of plinth...so in the dark or a state of inebriation you could be in for an unscheduled trip...
