« Super expensive hotel for room quality and area »

Air condition dint work , plus hotel is super expensive based on what it is , a regular 3 stars. The price abuse based on demand is too far . I have never seen this before.

As I have said before, this is a great little hotel. Nothing fancy but they do what they do very well. However, this time, there appeared to be issues with communications between the parent company, specifically the app, and the hotel. We booked a suite but were given a room and the price charged was not as displayed on the app.

« Good hotel for a few days stay in Paris »

Hotel was easy to find, and right by the metro making it easy to get around. We came by Eurostar and it was around 45 mins from Gare du Nord. It takes around 25-30 mins to get into the centre of Paris. The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. My one main complaint would be the aircon, this really didn't work, was more of a slightly cooler breeze, so the room was very warm overnight. The hairdryer in the bathroom was also not very powerful, not really worth using at all. Breakfast had a fresh orange machine, which was nice. However pastries weren't great, considering you are in France which is famous for croissants. We stayed at the hotel as it was walking distance to Roland Garros - 15-20 min walk which was great. If you don't want to travel into the centre, there are a few bars and restaurants around which are busy in the evenings.

Nice bedroom, great breakfast but.... no air conditioning in sweltering 30 C degrees!!!! This significantly affected our experience, which otherwise would have been a 10 out of 10.

Nice welcome, chambers as expected, and all we need for breakfast. The price is rather steap however for this hotel.

« Small, loud, very expensive »

Rooms in this hotel are very small. Mine had around 10 square meters - including a tiny bathroom where I had to leave the door open in order to use the toilet. The double bed was good but had little space around it. The hotel is situated directly at a street crossing with eight directions and a tunnel. It is very loud all through the day and night, even if your room is on the 4th floor as mine was. So you can either close the window and wake up because you lack oxygen or open the window and find no real sleep because of the noise - or keep yourself busy switching between the two during the night. You have a rather limited choice of food at breakfast. On top of all this, prices were very high even for Paris. The manager is friendly. But altogether, this has been my worst ibis experience in more than 15 years. I will not come back here next time, and most likely I will also prefer other hotel companies to ibis.

« The rooms were not soundproof at all »

The rooms by the main road were incredibly noisy, every car that passed was heard. I was on the 1st floor, even people walking and talking on the street could be heard. Very very dissatisfied with the stay. I couldn't even sleep for the night. I was here for business and what I needed was really just some quiet and a good night's sleep. Impossible. Design of room was flawed. Curtains not well placed to cover light coming in from the main street even if you shut it fully and you had a full length mirror on the opposite side of the room which reflects this light and the whole room is brightened throughout the night. The thing about big companies like Accor is that you're everywhere and with the convenience, payers like us don't really have a choice and if service is bad, we drop a comment like this.... I bet we will get an automated response that's all. It really irks me sometimes.

« Cosy, friendly & comfort »

Generally I am satisfied of my stay. I would like to thank you the staff for their very friendly & polite manner. For facilities at hotel I think some new irons & iron boards shall be purchased. Gold & platinum members I will be good to have some extra facilities such as electric kettle so they can have coffee/tea at their rooms Breakfast Menu I think need some changes to improve the variety & quality of food
